Oh you've been working in this fast food restaurant for 2 years with no problem? The violent demon behind the fridge decided to kill you around midnight. It's just so out of nowhere and makes no sense.

It's meant to be short,so it can't really have too much of a plot. although ignore it was an interesting concept, if it ever gets a longer film out of it a twist like you described can maybe work

Just a lazy idea is having crumbled up paper fall out of a drawer towards the ending, having the shot reveal that paper as instead an aged photo of the father with an unknown woman or something. Cliche shot lacking any creativity, but even that at least shows _something._ The concept of Ignore It itself might be fun and likable, but it's no way original, as there are many "horror" ideas and stories revolving around some spooky entity you have to ignore for your safety. The fact that it had no narrative at all just made it all the more pointless, I really am curious how it got an award.
