Really beautiful piece man, I was watching live on tv when that accident happened, I knew before they ever said anything that It wasn't gonna be good news. RIP Greg, Your skills were a dream to be able to say I got to see first hand.
Thank you. I'm glad I did his story justice. It was emotional to even write about. If there's any consolation, You saw his skills in action, whilst I had missed out. That's pretty cool, And the memory you should cling to. Not his loss, but his legacy.
No doubt about it Greg Moore was taken away too soon. He could have been a multi time champion and most definitely a multi time Indianapolis 500 Champion.
You did it again! I have been waiting for this! Keep it up Keep it up Keep it up! Going to grab a beer and enjoy the hell out of this.😃I hope it's ok if I share on Facebook because people need to see your work!
@@ClumsyCardboard An owner driver story.Personally I think multi team cars and drivers have led to a decline in watchers. What is needed in my very humble opinion are more owner drivers and the uphill battle they face.Your Kirk Shelmerdines,Boris Saids and your Alan Kulwicki's. Showing up with one car and a borrowed pick up and limited resources. The guy running older equipment and limited sponsorships.I love that stuff it is enamoring.I have always been a fan of the dark horse.
Can’t lay on too much of a hint just yet, but I’ll say it’s a short track legend. He’s from the southeast, and challenged dick trickle for the title of the best. I’ll have a community page follow up about him

@@ClumsyCardboard His town has a statue of him In Canada, Much like Dale Earnhardt's In Kannapolis.
@@VeliusCoba I have been to Maple ridge, but I unfortunately haven't see that. I guess it's time to pay a visit.
Watched him at the Toronto Indy it was heartbreaking to hear of his death.
While I never followed the sport closely, it was still very emotional for me to make this. As quickly as entered, he left. Tragedy.

Easily. We lost a great one. Red gloves rule!

Kirk Sherlmerdine
Hey CC,how about doing one one on Kirk Skelmerdine?
That’d be a great one. Hell of a story, hell of a crew chief, even an ARCA winner. Good idea!
