A psychology reminder relating to your anxiety - people underestimate the emotional impact of events and the 5 most stressful are; death of a loved one - divorce - moving - illness/injury - job loss. So, you've not only moved, you've completed altered the direction of your life and my guess is that will have a huge emotional impact that you naturally assume is "not a big deal" when in reality it is huge - you need to give yourself time and the emotional space to adapt.
I am thankful this year for Dari's videos, as they are always fun and interesting. And I am thankful she received her scholarship to travel and study in the USA!
@4:00, you mention that it is very cold outside. FYI, all of the Russian Federation is north of the latitude you are at in NYC. Сибиряки бы посмеялись! Re: bagels with shmear: You were in Williamsburg. Walk up to Frankels, just past McCarren Park in Greenpoint, for the best bagel with cream cheese and lox.
🎄 🥳 🎉 Oh my goodness, as I watched Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV here in Montreal , it occurred to me that Dari and the other International students might be there in the crowd to experience it! Pleased to see you were actually there in the crowd! Such an impressive parade! Loved it and the singers and marching bands, and dancers too. 🎅🏻🌲⛄️
Dari, your videos are so inspirational. You always try to experience something new, and I think this is a great way to live. Just remember to take time for yourself to take care of your mental health. Thanks for sharing.
For what you got at the bagel shop, it was not overpriced. You would pay the same or more here in Houston. Your biggest expense was probably the salmon.
Nice to see you Dari, glad you liked our Thanksgiving, yummy bagels. Maybe I will run into you in NY as we go to rockafellow center. It would be great plus and minus of US obxervations as a foreign student

How one reacts to noises may indeed be associated with one's upbringing. My Mom said that I was an easy baby to take care of because after taking a bath and tucked in, I would sleep for three hours uninterruptedly despite loud noises (Hong Kong was the noisiest city in the world due to all of the construction activities: driving piles, air drills digging up sidewalk/pavement to bury electrical cables, etc.) Sleep-study doctor questioned me about whether I had narcolepsy because I dropped like a rock into deep sleep and spent such an exceptional fraction of my sleeping time in deep sleep. Dari, I am so glad to hear that you are taking breaks from social media to clear your head and spend more time with your studies. As you mentioned here that is the most important thing right now. Maybe when you have a winter break between semesters you can explore more of your surroundings with greater detail. Even though I would love to see more videos from you, I also understand that you need to have time to live your life, be with friends, and plan and make your goals come true... not just hunkered down in front of a laptop editing. Take care of yourself first and foremost and then everything else will come in due time. I am grateful that some of your dreams are becoming a reality. That is enough for me as a follower of your video adventures.
Products should be as relevant as possible to the *reason* that people watch your channel. In this case, they watch it because they enjoy learning about your perspective as a Russian who travels and, especially now, your experiences as a Russian immigrant in America. Try designing stuff that's funny/cute with a Russian-American theme, e.g. "I came all the way from Russia to New York City and all I got was X" where X is something unpleasant but funny that you experienced and have mentioned on your channel, like the noisy heater in your apartment or maybe you found a dead rat or whatever (it's NYC, if you haven't had some sort of incident involving a rat, you will). Also, Americans *love* hearing about immigrants who came here and love America, so anything that essentially says "I'm an immigrant and I love America" is going to do well.
Love your NY Videos as well as all your videos. I also love parades. I like to watch the Rose Parade (on TV) every year because almost all the floats are made of flowers. It's in California on New Year's Day. Those bagels looked awesome. Poppy seed with nothing on them are my fave. I missed watching the Macy's parade this year. I completely forgot. It looks so cold there, and I do not like to be cold. My husband is from Alaska and he can't stand the cold either LOL. Good luck with figuring out a new project and new ideas. It can be so hard to be creative when you have a lot going on such as work and school.

Lovely video seeing the marching bands and the balloons! I know you are not comfortable in crowds but I think you had a great time with your friends at the parade. I hope your stress does not get you down too much. For a small venture maybe you could design something specific to you and your travels for us to buy. For example, I was short of a 2024 calendar for my wall so I made a simple one from some of your photos on the community post! Hope you dont think its creepy! Love that chocolate too - great gift!

You do such a good job of that. Really looking forward to your next video but don't stress over putting one out cause your studies come first. Please take good care of yourself and thank you so much for the video.
Hallo Dari! I'm happy when you're happy. The different colours of the leaves were beautiful. Thanks for the positive vibes! I always feel better after seeing you. People living in New York and Manhattan were complaining a lot! They said something of the area you were last, I think it was Brookes. Thousands of illegal immigrants refused to move. Glad they were not there. Sending you lots of love! (Sorry I can't come up with a Project.)❤❤❤ I hear storm Ivan is heading for Moscow. It snowed a lot!
Loved this Dari! I've never been to parade in person and this felt like I was really there! Better than TV! Your the best! Enjoyed watching and thank you for sharing your experience at the Macy's parade! ❣️❣️❣️☺️
You keep making great friends that add interesting flavor to your videos, like the scenes with your new friend from the Philippines. your videos keep coming up with cool places to kick back, both inside and outside. They really open my eyes to the "real New York. I just wish they were a little bit longer. the parade was great, something I've watched for Years only on TV. glad you enjoyed it as well. I just wish you could have sat down to a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. Put it on your bucket list --- do it next time for sure. I don't think you would have lasted too long after without having to take your nap to recover. Your videos are wonderful keep them coming, and do it often! Don't be stingy with the videos, and your friends are your co-stars!
Interesting ,very interesting, Dasha. By the way, this leather jacket gives you quite an interesting look. A combination of a bit of punk and a bit of Eastern European gangster from the 1990s.😁 But in a sense that makes you smile, especially when combined with your beauty and behavior. By the way, I think from a few of your vlogs since you came to the US, it's clear that your eyes sparkle at times. In the last year I saw your vlogs, I didn't see it in your eyes. Perhaps in some sense the USA or perhaps New York and the university serve you. As for what you want to create on your channel. I think you should suggest some ideas that come to your mind and see what the response will be. The most important thing is that you do what will make you happy and will not harm your studies. Good luck. Greetings
That was fun Dari. Glad you got to watch the parade in person. I'm sorry I don't have any ideas for your project right now as I am rushing out the door. Thanks again Dari.
I really enjoyed this video. What I find intriguing is you show us many parts of New York City that we don't normally see on TV and in movies. (This is true of many of your travel videos, which is why they are so enjoyable.) As for future projects, I must say that when it comes to clothes, I really like your style! It seems to me that you could earn money in modeling. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO SOMETHING INTERESTING, have breakfast at Tiffany's some morning at 727 5th Ave. Stand in front of the window like Audrey Hepburn did holding a bagel and hot drink (in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's--a classic!). And to even make it more interesting, try to dress like her character, Holly Golightly. Talk about style! Holly even goes inside and asks if there is anything for sale under $10, and she gets a funny look. In your case, make it $20, and you'll get a funny look too. Believe me, your viewers will get a big kick out of this. (You can actually rent Holly's outfit.) However, do your schoolwork first!
Another fun video! For your entrepreneurial project I believe your brand needs a great Dari Step logo. So, produce up to 3 logo candidates and present them for comments. But also ask your professor about trademark laws. Good luck!😅 You are in America, so you have to think like a true capitalist now! 😮 American English / word usage note: About the Macy's parade: You referred to the musicians in the parade as an "orchestra". I liked that word! However, we normally call the musicians walking along in a parade a "marching band". An orchestra would normally be in a theater-like setting and include string instruments like a violin or cello. The marching bands in the Macy's parade are usually selected from high schools or colleges. It is an honor for a band to be selected to be in the Macy's parade. My purpose is to be helpful to you because you are also a student of life and have a positive spirit and we all need more of that! Do you like these kind of comments? If you liked this comment, please hit the like button below 😂
Another amazing video. So happy that you got to experience the Thanksgiving Day parade. Your creativity has always been amazing. Be safe and always have fun with what you do. 😉😊😎🤠🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Wonderful video! It's always great to see "happy Dari". And the scenery, wow! Loved the outfit with your grandfather's leather jacket, you make a beautiful babushka! ))) As far as projects go, you seem to be doing fine on your own.
What type of things are you interested in creating? Most business people will tell you to create something you are passionate about and that solves a problem. For instance you are a young stylish single woman who has taken great leaps to travel and study abroad. Use your strengths to determine how you can take your personal style and sense of adventure to inspire or help others to find those thing for themselves.
5th Avenue is also called The Avenue of the Americas. One night I went ripping down 5th Ave in My Chrysler 5th Avenueat 80 mph, no traffic, all green lights.
Dari, the parade shots were amazing as usual and its great to see you smiling and having fun with your friends! With, NY being 14 degrees further south than Moscow, I'm surprised your freezing, (Ah- she forgot to bring her Russia clothes 😁😁)! The sounds of warm in your apartment sound fantastic (Not too quite, don't want to freeze). I'm so glad that your stress gone from last video to this video Sadly, it was almost to the point of tears. I'm not sure what you mean by projects, guess Dari gear! Of course, maybe you should go into fashion as you seem to always wear some stylish clothes! Once again, good luck on your exams. Do well because hard work pays off! Look forward to your next adventure! Say warm, be happy and have fun! ENJOY!
Nice to own the streets early in the morning for a little bit. Thank you for the lovely sights. So glad you had a great Thanksgiving Day. New York is huge!
I would like seeing tours of artsy places. Sights within the Whitney Museum of Art and Greenwiche Village would be interesting. Hope filming in museums would be ok.
Good luck on exams. I missed Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on TV this year, so I enjoyed seeing a brief recap on your video. As for a long-term project, It has to be aligned with your passion-travel, food, and adventure-and your easy likability. I’d suggest segments on general travel tips for travelers with your actual experiences traveling to highlight the tips in an illustrative and funny manner. You could follow it up by publishing a book on there tips and adventures. Hope this either helps or gets your creative juices flowing for better ideas.
DARI it always so nice to see your video Am happy you are having a great time in New York ✌️❤️ just like to say you are still so GORGEOUS ❤ please keep up the great work you do for us 💯💪 take care of yourself and be safe beautiful ❤️😍
On January 1st the day after new years is a special time in Manhattan. The streets will be completely empty in the morning. Great time to ride around in a car and take videos. It will be like a scene out of movie the city with no people on the streets. This was the only time that house of Morgan’s women were allowed in Manhattan. The city parties so hard on new years the next morning is great for moving around in a car very fast.
I am so happy that you got to see this Parade. In March is the St. Patrick’s day Parade. That is my favorite parade in New York. I love all of your videos, they are very interesting and inspiring.
wow a hotel lobby to hang out at I've never heard of that I would never think that a hotel lobby would let people hang out there who are not guests wow
Thank you for sharing. I always thought you were doing so much. I am glad you made priorities and held your goals. I admire you so much more now. Does every straight man want to marry you. Lol!!
I don't get a chance to see all your posts, but I do enjoy your obvious excitement at living in New York. I already think of you as a Russian New Yorker, like my stepdaughter who lives there and my wife, who lived in Brooklyn when we started dating. Enjoy life in NYC, at this perfect youthful age, and keep sharing your experiences.
Stress happens, not always, sometimes it's just life's rythms and/or the pressure of events. :) Glad to see you bounce back, enjoy and have fun as you do. Great video again too.
Hello Dari! You look so well and I am happy you are enjoyng your stay in New York. The Thanksgiving parade was just amazing. Wow you speak a wonderful English so that you could work in tourism!!! I also wish you good luck for your uni exams. Great video and take care❤️🌺🌷
Wonderful video Dari your English are improving every day Thanksgiving Day started back to 1621 when the Pilgrims Fathers sailed to America from Plymouth Devon England .The Pilgrims Fathers they are Puritans and wear black clothes but very plain l believe the native Americans the Wampanoag people gave a Turkey to eat and it’s started from there or l might be wrong. I look forward to your next video when you have time
Yes, enjoyed the video ! I was born in northern New Jersey, and you have already seen more of New York locations than I ever saw. You know how to see the sights 🙂
What a beautiful sunny day for the parade! Thoroughly enjoyed your view and reactions to it. I would like to help you with ideas for your project but I am completely clueless exactly what kind of ideas you want. Can you please explain in more detail what you want and perhaps give some examples or choices to pick from?
I thought the balloons flew higher in the parade? It was always a huge tradition to watch it on TV , most of the talent performed in front of the Macy's building . What was the biggest shock about America. You do seem to find some very nice places to sit and relax . I am happy you have found some good in the country . So nice to hear from you . I think of you every time NYC makes the news. Which is often . Think I will buy you a coffee !
The weather at the Parade can really vary each year between warm and cold, next year it might be warm.New York City sometimes has the strangest weather as you might have noticed.
I believe you are beginning to understand why America is so great and why we are always smiling. Because we are happy and alot of us know God! Welcome to America! God bless you and I hope all of your experiences simply get better and better. May you come to know the fullness of all that America and God has to offer!
Hi Dari, love you vlog as always. Perhaps you want to consider including the links to the merchants you particularly enjoy or recommend, whether it is restaurants, cafes, or boutiques. Hopefully, this will generate some goodwill, and maybe some advertising revenue or even partnership down the road. As for developing your own merchandise, the upfront cost could be quite prohibitive and you don’t want to be stuck with the inventory not selling. However, if you do have some really great business ideas, crowd funding may be an option. Best of luck and the sky is the limit!

Loved this Dari! I've never been to parade in person and this felt like I was really there! Better than TV! Your the best! Enjoyed watching and thank you for sharing your experience at the Macy's parade! ❣️❣️❣️☺️
Thank you so much!!
@@DariStep❤❤❤☺️
Terrific outing, thanks you
You keep making great friends that add interesting flavor to your videos, like the scenes with your new friend from the Philippines. your videos keep coming up with cool places to kick back, both inside and outside.
Ahaha thank you!
Good luck. Greetings
Many people told me about it! And I also feel happier in the last months!
Hugs and kisses from Minnesota! 😘
Thanks, Happy Thanksgiving, дякую
I am so glad you are making the most of your stay here. I'm really enjoying your videos.😊❤
I'm so glad!
Great video!
Thanks!
I really enjoyed. Good luck for your exams. 🍀
Thank you!!!
What a fantastic person you are dari, I love your enthusiasm for everything you do ....I always love watching your vlogs ...lee In 🇬🇧
Thank you so much 😊
That was fun Dari. Glad you got to watch the parade in person. I'm sorry I don't have any ideas for your project right now as I am rushing out the door. Thanks again Dari.
Thank you!
Which balloon at the parade was your favorite, Dari?
Panda 🐼
Ahahah thanks for the idea!
Another fun video!
For your entrepreneurial project I believe your brand needs a great Dari Step logo. So, produce up to 3 logo candidates and present them for comments. But also ask your professor about trademark laws. Good luck!😅 You are in America, so you have to think like a true capitalist now! 😮
American English / word usage note:
About the Macy's parade: You referred to the musicians in the parade as an "orchestra".

Wonderful video! It's always great to see "happy Dari". And the scenery, wow! Loved the outfit with your grandfather's leather jacket, you make a beautiful babushka! ))) As far as projects go, you seem to be doing fine on your own.
Thank you so much!
Very interesting
Any project you come up.with I will love. I loved this video, too..Thank you for sharing.
More to come!
I have some ideas but for me it’s also important to know what my audience would be interested in :)
Get some thermal long johns.. to stay warm
Excellent outfit choice at 3:53
The simple black top makes a striking contrast with the blonde hair. ❤
Thanks!
5th Avenue is also called The Avenue of the Americas. One night I went ripping down 5th Ave in My Chrysler 5th Avenueat 80 mph, no traffic, all green lights.
No. 6th Avenue is the one called "Avenue of the Americas".
Keep vlogging all the different neighborhoods and boroughs, you’ll never run out, your doing a great job!
Thanks’
Hi Dari ,your looking well, looks nice parade ,good luck in your studies ,look after your self ,stay safe and take care
Thank you! You too!
ENJOY!
Thank you so much!
And I brought winter clothes from Russia here 😂
Happy belated Thanksgiving Dariya! Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see some footage from the inside of the Chrysler Building in the future!
Nice to own the streets early in the morning for a little bit. Thank you for the lovely sights. So glad you had a great Thanksgiving Day. New York is huge!
Great video Dari! Glad you are doing better!
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing. Curious if there's a similar holiday you grew up with in Russia. If so, how is it similar/different?
Nope :(
I would like seeing tours of artsy places. Sights within the Whitney Museum of Art and Greenwiche Village would be interesting. Hope filming in museums would be ok.
Soon 😌
Thanks
Thanks for your support!
Everyone loves a parade!
I’ll definitely write a book one day :))
❤❤❤
11:52 why are you holding your scarf do you think it's going to come off from how you put it?

I'm from Philippines I watching your vloggs since 2 years. I'm glad to see you with my fellow Filipino. Hehe
Thanks for sharing!
Can’t wait 😍
I am so happy that you got to see this Parade. In March is the St. Patrick’s day Parade. That is my favorite parade in New York. I love all of your videos, they are very interesting and inspiring.
Thank you so much!
wow a hotel lobby to hang out at I've never heard of that I would never think that a hotel lobby would let people hang out there who are not guests wow
Nice video Dari! How about a month or 2 road trip across the US? Would love to watch your experience with that.
Maybe one day! ☀️
Thanksgiving is always such a cool time of the year! Mental health challenges are more frequent this season. Hang in there!
Thank you for sharing.
I always thought you were doing so much.
I am glad you made priorities and held your goals.
I admire you so much more now.
Does every straight man want to marry you.
Lol!!
Good luck on your first final exam! Looking forward to the interviews.
Great video kid!!
Thanks for watching ☀️
@@DariStep I don't want to miss one! :)
Hello Dari! You look so well and I am happy you are enjoyng your stay in New York. The Thanksgiving parade was just amazing. Wow you speak a wonderful English so that you could work in tourism!!! I also wish you good luck for your uni exams. Great video and take care❤️🌺🌷
Thank you so much!!
Ahaha!
What a beautiful sunny day for the parade! Thoroughly enjoyed your view and reactions to it. I would like to help you with ideas for your project but I am completely clueless exactly what kind of ideas you want. Can you please explain in more detail what you want and perhaps give some examples or choices to pick from?
I’ll try in the next videos / livestream :)
Eating Chinese food on Thanksgiving :-) Great video Dari, nice to see you again.
Thank you! 😃
Thanks a lot for your support!
As for things that shock me, I’ll make a video about it on January probably
What if You started making Soap in tutorials- Then sell the Soap or give it away to Your to Top Channel Donors or Patreon Subscribers.
The weather at the Parade can really vary each year between warm and cold, next year it might be warm.New York City sometimes has the strangest weather as you might have noticed.
Oh yeah I definitely noticed that ahaha
I believe you are beginning to understand why America is so great and why we are always smiling. Because we are happy and alot of us know God! Welcome to America! God bless you and I hope all of your experiences simply get better and better. May you come to know the fullness of all that America and God has to offer!
Good Day Dari,
What are your interests? What are some things, or ideas that you find interesting & exciting. We can start with that.
Thanks,
Kirk
I already have some ideas, I just wanted to listen what my community thinks to see what is matching
