Can I just ask why you chose an archer spear composition when you knew he was doing knight archer? Obviously it worked out well for you but isn't it more optimal to go spears and horsemen? Is it because archer spear compliment a more turtle playstyle which you had correctly chosen for this game? I know you're a fantastic player I'm just asking for educational purposes.

With Freshfoodstuff I can slowly go to Castle even when creating archers. I wouldn't be able to do that with horseman since they are very food heavy and I wanted to go castle as fast as possible against French. Also those archers get Composite bows in Castle which makes them really good so they are not so much of a waste.
I am also learning! So I am not sure if that's the best choice but that is what went through my mind at that moment 😅

Awesome that makes total sense. It appears as though spear horsemen would be more suitable to compliment a rush strategy not a turtle

@@chrisnewtownnsw yeah I guess if you don’t want to turtle probably the horseman spear combo would be the best for winning fights. I’m just a turtle lover lol 🐢
