Companion Satellite & Stream Decks - What you need to know

We used to run Companion separately on four different machines at our church. Recently, I consolidated this setup to one host machine, with the other three running Companion Satellite. So in this video, I want to walk you through what that looks like and share some tips and useful info that will helpfully save you some time if you decide to do something similar.

so zach. you need both satellite app and the companion original app to be installed and working on the sattelite device?.

Technically you only need the satellite app on the satellite devices. I had the normal companion app installed already so I really just used that to pull up the address of the satellite and host GUI.
The main thing is that all satellite devices need to be connected to the the WiFi network that companion is running on
