- Hey there!
title says it all, i must 36 star spiral abyss on genshin impact or i am a wet chicken. (apparently it's rotten egg in english but wet chicken is a vibe now)
minecraft next! still stressed yet excited for our slow transition into more variety, especially in this super DRY genshin moment, no fun events or interesting stuff to do, I have an idea for a last video before new content- we'll see if I can make it work (swapping two characters around?)
and no i don't plan on doing a series where i play through the game again, I'd rather spend time on trying out new games/finding more interesting stuff to do instead

abyss is, without a doubt, the most anger inducing thing i have ever done that is either a promotion place for new characters or absolute dps check. can't wait for the next rotation.
i love how it starts off like you really dislike it and ends in you're excited to see more, a true rollercoaster of good design
It used to be like that for me until last month. Now the lag is even more rage inducing whenever I try to beat the abyss
I like to think about the spiral abyss as Tartarus, where if u aren't satisfied with your timing on a chamber the monsters just spawn back, getting more powerful as you progress
Edit: now realizing I didn't explain it well, if u aren't satisfied with your timing on a chamber, you can restart it and just like in Tartarus, monsters spawn back. The annoying thing is that most of them are really strong like maguu kenki or the perpetual mechanical array resembling the giants and titans in Tartarus, I hate restarting chambers xD

Oof that's 15k primos gone, for a f2p, skipping even one rotation of abyss is like skipping a whole event
It's not that big of a deal, you can get to a 5 star pull every 3-4 patches anyway, for real, 36 starring the abyss is not worth it if you don't like it, even counting floors 9 and 10 it's only 4 pulls per rotation

As someone who uses Venti quite often, here’s a quick tip with his burst targeting-
Always use his E before his burst to see what he’s initially targeting. If it isn’t, get closer to the enemies you want to target then burst.
Another note, I personally found the robot event fun. I enjoyed screwing around and making the most random stuff and then being able to redistribute it to my friends. Perhaps that’s just me and another maybe handful of people though. Regardless, free primos!

FYI, your target has a small white triangle above it, over the level/hp indicators... it's not easy to see in a large pack but it's there. That said, I think I've only looked for it myself a few times and I've known about it for like a month lol.

Still remember making my friend play the first 5 floors of abyss when i was AR 50 because i couldnt bear the feeling of failing. But hey I got to floor 11 now at AR 56 so, progress :’)

Very relatable Abyss video. This was my third 36-star Abyss total after playing more than year and half. I still have in fresh memory how I did floor 12 for the very first time for two stars. That was in March.
I don't hate Abyss the way I did before but it still isn't fun experience for me, just an opportunity to get thee pulls worth of primogems.

Literally a nightmare race against the clock and I barely got 3 stars, abyss is so bad it hurts ☠ I just want the pulls man
oh same here! my third 36 star after playing for a year and a half. ^_^ except i quite enjoy the recent abyss, haha. at first im always a bit reluctant because of all the trauma ive endured because of it 😂 but when the mobs (in floor 12 esp) aren't unbearably annoying it's fun. i still remember the amount of grief id get back in the day from the hypostasis and triple maguu kenki lol. i just dont think i had powerful enough team comps and good supports built so it made the experience all the more painful. id say my biggest help was properly building xiangling for national and used raiden national/kazuha national.. ive been cruising

Last week JUST after I finally 36* the abyss I started feeling feverish. Then I got tested positive with Covid.
The abyss is indeed a scary place.
Nothing that interesting happening in Genshin and still Rednas makes my day with Genshin. If I had the choice of befriending any Genshin content creator, Rednas seems the funniest by far. Your work is amazing and even through tough times you make me crack a smile.

Note that Ayaka attacks doesn't trigger Egg E on a shielded herald. Because you can't deal damage to shielded herald hp and Egg E triggers only when you dealing damage, not with just hits.
