i feel like a lot of people (including myself lmao) hype up Pilgrammed like it's the second coming of Christ not because it does anything super unique and innovative, but because it executes what it sets out to do really well. the bosses and enemies have a good variety to them, the progression is coherent and well-paced (until you hit lategame), QoL features actually exist (unlike verdant moon lmao) and there's plenty of player build variety as well. however, once you do end up blazing through all of the content that the game has to offer (or that you have the patience to suffer through, looking at you catacombs), there really isn't much else to do, so that's prob one of the big reasons why there's such a low playercount
also the game is mainly PvE focused, thats why the enemies are pretty fun to fight (the bosses are fun to parry), there is PvP but you have to find the place to challenge people or write a command on chat
At one point during the height of pilgrammed, some schizos would gaslight many discord users to believer in the "Atlantis" update as the next update for the game. They even made goofy ass screenies of "bosses" found in "Atlantis". One of the "bosses" that was featured was just a poorly edited and stacked mounts that made it look like a fucking worm. The mount they used was that white thing with legs, forgor what it was called, haven't played in a long time, but it was still fucking funny as shit
for me Pilgrammed was the perfect rpg, it wasnt punishing no active pvp just go out into the world and kill what you want and be rewarded generously, there are a lot of secret areas and bosses in this game some pretty well hidden but if you explore every nook and cranny you should find all of them and when theres no bosses to kill you can go for the highest round in the endless mode or get the highest round in protecting the vip and each of them have their own unique rewards, also you didnt talk about the ost they're pretty good in my opinion anyway thats enough praise from me I do recommand playing it more with your friend
i liked the review and i think it's funny to watch you utterly destroy stuff we like because it's funny i guess but i've recently played a game called derelict and if you're wondering if it's good or not well it's alright i guess it's just darksouls and runescape together but it was a little boring after mining for stuff for hours and the leather quest there is alot of bugs such as the quests not apearing bug and if you want to pass the first quest that isnt a story one the leather quest you need to get 22 leather and the game was a little big but there was no sense of telling you what to do i've got to brute armor and steel tools and weapons but honestly if you're gonna play this you can ask me for some help because i didnt get any i liked the visuals and voice acting but overall the game is a 6/10
Pilgrammed is far from complete in terms of an RPG game; its low player count is caused due to lack of replayability after doing everything. Although updates do take a long time because of the small dev team, most of this game's issues (especially with the early game, which is by far the worst aspect of Pilgrammed) are planned to be fixed. Anyways, this was a pretty good review of Pilgrammed, which focused both on its pros and cons.
The main reason i see the game having a lower playercount, compared to what it used to have during the week it released (Short while had more players than Deepwoken), is that it can easily be confusing for new players and often feel unfair when you get stronger and fight a stronger mob at your progression level, just to have it instantly kill you which feels demotivating. Especially when you reach endgame, as the balance for the game slowly starts to reveal what is a terrible choice to go for and what you have to use to actually have a chance. (Melee becomes a death trap for yourself and being tanky is useless due to fact you would die so quickly anyway) The Terraria comparison people make for the game is understandable, with the reforge system, accessories and even a few weapons that are simply a reference or from Terraria.
idk I progressed very fast without any tutorials in the game, it might just be people not having any experience in rpg games. But yeah being tanky is really useless. And people don't have enough patience to learn the game also( I have tried playing with friends but they all quit after 2 days).
Pilgrammed is ok. Stopped playing after exploring everything and not wanting to grind anymore. Bosses were also goofy 👍. You should also review the arcane odyssey games. Dunno what the different games are called but there should be 3 in this "franchise".
Its arcane Odessey arcane adventures and online fighting and world of magic (you can only play arcane Odessey and world of magic out of these since there either taken down or broken)if you wanna play arcane adventures then just play arcane reborn. It's a pretty faithfull reimagining of arcane adventures
If anyone of you are feeling lost, sad, depressed, angry. Know that God loves you and he has a plan for you all you have to do is ask him what his plan is and if you dont believe God ask him to show hiself to you ask for a sign. For God so loved the world he sent his only begotten son that who ever shall believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life God bless you all

the catacombs end does pay off really well tho

I as an unofficial derelict pro gamer can definitely say it's a big grind and Christoph could make it easier.

melee isn't a death trap if you actually parry, only problem i see with it is mobile players tend to be laggy.
