man your rpg will flop like 99/100 timelines, new game developers always underestimate game design and their knowledge of it and some times even seasoned devs of certain.. hm.. platforms completely ignore game design for the sake of the "cool idea" they have and fall into major pitfalls (im not hinting at a specific dev you just know who they are)
@barney1942 the "cool ideas" of begginers are valued highly even by seasoned designers(i.e. hidetaka myazaki, who pairs new designers with older ones to help them visualise their ideas better), a lot of the time you can get tunnel vision because your concepts get canceled by principle after principle but admittedly it is a better approach compared to the one taken by most game developers on roblox. If spirited pays attention to game design and isnt afraid to completely scrap ideas for the sake of a more focused experience we can be hopeful, although i doubt that will happen

Honestly the worst part about mobile player catering to me (as a mobile player) is that it's not like all mobile users CAN'T participate in PVE/PVP effectively when it's not designed for them, it's more or less that most mobile players are genuine children. But children can enjoy good games too. They don't need to be dumbasses and play games for dumbasses, they can just play games and suck at them. Yet, on Roblox, games like SBO 3 know that no sane PC user would ever buy into their game, so they prey on little timmy with his tablet, further spiraling their game design for profit. Amazing work!

The bosses in sb3 are super inconsistent. Some bosses are just brain dead stand and hit with all of their attacks designed to miss by default. Or it could be a boss with mostly slow attacks that made dodge rolling irrelevant with 1 or 2 big moves that by themselves doesn’t offer much in terms of forcing players to learn to manage tempo and resources (mana, stamina), the worst cases of all are the ones with broken target tracking that will spin out of locked animations once the players has dodged its attack, making dodging impossible and forcing the players to either abuse glitches or find a sizable enough party when most other players seldom desires to socialize outside of the merchanting world. The devs however are able to genuinely make good PVE combat though as demonstrated by the Galiard (purple sword wolf) 2nd boss on floor one. It’s moves are telegraphed by unique animations before the indicator patterns show up on the ground, if the players only started to evade from the indicators alone, they’ll either need to use more stamina till it runs dry or won’t make it out in time, the boss also had consistent combos that punished players for dodging in wrong directions with sufficient amounts of damage and status effects.

Are you even tried sb2? I get maxed level without any boosts in 2020, there was no exp buff on floors at this time. If you just a kiddo, who cannot play without smooth 3d textures and x16 boosts to get maxed level without challenging, so why you play games?

Even most generic anime bandit beaters have mechanics like blocking and parrying, i frames dashes and anything that makes gameplay feel little bit more interesting and engaging. Sb3 lacking those makes it feel really boring and just straight up bad. Games on roblox changed and standards are going up and only thing keeping sb3 is a name of its predecessors and the economy i guess? Previous sb games might not suffer from this because roblox games used to be small minigames before but now they wouldn't be anything special.
