Thanksgiving weekend, a close friend passed after a long struggle with an illness that was difficult to diagnose. It wasn't until the last few months they determined he had Lewy bodies dementia. (Instead of the mind the dementia attacks the body and you slowly loose the ability to move) He developed gangrene and refused medical care. He lingered for weeks. Since his passing last month, I can feel my fortress wall of 'Don't ' beginning to crack. I need to contact a therapist before the wall tumbles in an odd situation. Thank you again. I hope you and your family have a beautiful, peaceful holiday.

I learned on my first garage sale that you can't think about how much you paid for something, but rather, how much will other people pay at a garage sale when they are looking for deals!? Also...how much do you want to haul everything back in the house to try and sell again or haul to Goodwill? 😜 Very motivating to keep prices on the lower side!
Big fan. I haven't watched the whole thing but I wonder why you don't get one of those carts that can be collapsed to go in the car. They are 40+ bucks on Amazon. This is the type that is similar to a wagon. You could operate without worrying about your "pile" that anyone can grab. You could shop quickly, you like that. Lots of advantages. One more tip. I am finding a lot of answers to questions on the AI feature copilot from Microsoft. There are other versions. These robots are super fast and mostly know the answer to everything. you can access it from your phone. Great yard sale, especially the first one. On the second one, I think the lady set out all that stuff for nothing. My philosophy with my yard sales, "I dragged this out here and it's not going back in the house." Makes for happy customers and an overall good profit.
My sister used to work at the home office of a major retailer. They would get samples from all over the world for inspiration, especially Europe. They were always marked “ sample”.
Take mental note of the housewares and nik naks you see at garage/yard sales and look the items up when you have some time…that’s how you learn what’s worth picking up and what’s not.
Well now I know, I passed on a Jams World blouse for $4 at a thrift store. So sorry for your family loss. I’ve lost family members to suicide, so painful

There is a brand of jeans from the 80's called Riders by Lee. The jean jacket most likely came from that. Jean jackets and a carpenter jeans we popular in the 80's
I can't say for sure, but on that sample jean jacket the R makes me think of Roper brand. They make western stuff and that jean jacket would totally be something they'd sell. I could be totally wrong, but that's what brand came to my mind when I saw it. As a side note Ariat is pronounced a bit different. The brand name comes from Secretariat so it's pronounced like how you said Secretariat. Or you can just google the pronunciation :) Love watching your videos!
