That ottoman turned out amazing. But they all were fantastic. Vases are so available at thrift stores so easy to dupe and paint so any one can find one and DIY it. 🙂
Can you talk about how to decorate your space? How you go about decorating a room, furniture placement, materials to use, how much furniture is too much…etc?
I've got a similar stool/ottoman that I thrifted and recovered that's in my entryway to use for putting on boots (the midwest has snow). I always use a glue gun to reupholster things. I've actually upholstered a half bath just using my glue gun. I never had a problem with it coming unglued. I have to say that i gasped when you spray painted that chinoiserie fishbowl black and added the beads. That broke my heart. You can find twisted trim at JoAnne's and Hobby Lobby. It can be applied with a glue gun and spray painted to give you that rope look.
