that synth slides is S O G R E A T .. unbelievable. 1:24 arps in back - are ya kiddin me?!?! As a small kid I was playin Medivo lvl just because of that lead synths. I started my music carrier because of music like this. Nothing I listened to last XY years hasnt striked me like this masterpiece. 18/10
@@elstevobevo I wouldn't say it "blows this one out the water", as Sidnify to me was much more a modern remix, while this one more paid tribute to the original sound. They are both good, but for very different reasons.
@@elstevobevo No it doesn't. Sidnify is a good remix, but it's not much different to me from all the other, super synth remixes of game music. This one actually goes out of its way being an homage to the original, highlights the part many listeners enjoyed the most, and even employs a bit of that 8bit sound. It's honestly more creative.
So far, hands down best Medivo remix I've heard! Been searching for a good one, and I have something stuck in my head, so maybe I'll just have to make one as well :D Great job, keep it up!
@LadyBarricade Yeah, I think might do Tubelectric next, add some of the insanity available to us in the modern day. The main title theme is pretty much too good to be remixed, but the loops are perfect for chip-hop.
I've been going through all the JJ covers on UA-cam, and this is one of my favourites. It's very nicely balanced, yet has an extremely full sound. The background notes don't distract, if anything they add to the intensity of the main bass line. It's a very nice and relaxing cover in a way. Great job! :D
Very nice remix and propably best out here! Though I wouldn't mind hearing this with other drum set and beat since all the other instruments sound like they are played in spacious hall.

Hearing the drums with acoustic sound makes me realize how much the groove is just like the Amen break.
After 2 years of listening i can say that this is by far my favorite remix of medivo

Keeping closer to the original makes this one of the better remixes i've heard of this piece.
