Brain foods are good for your memory and brain. However, if your really want to start remembering more you are going to need a system. My memory training system is at the link below
    memorycourse.brainathlete.com...
    More brain foods: www.memorise.org/brain-foods/t...
What are the top brain foods to improve your memory?
I do have a list of my best brain foods and this would be it
    1. Eat whole grains for a steady supply of energy to your brain. This is a a great brain and memory food.
    2. Eat oil fish (Salmon, trout, mackerel, herring). Essential fatty acids cannot be made by the body and must be obtained through a diet. You can get this from Omega 3 pills as well. Flax seed, pumpkin seeds are also a source
    3. Eat more blueberries. They have antioxidants that are helpful for the brain.
    4. Tomatoes. They protect against free radical damage
    5. B6, B12 and folic acid prevent against brain shrinkage
    6. Walnuts are the top nuts for brain health. Just a quarter cup of walnuts provide the daily intake for DHA
    7. Avocados are healthy brain foods. It is a healthy fat and promotes good blood flow and is one of my favorite brain foods.
    8. Dark chocolate has powerful antioxidant properties that protect brain and is a natural stimulant and is a top brain food.
    9. Broccoli has significant amounts of vitamin K and that is going to be good for your memory and brain
    10. Curry. Curry has turmeric in it and this spice is helpful to your brain and memory. If I could eat curry every day I would (and I guess I can!) and the reason I love it as one of my best brain foods is the taste. But the benefits for my memory and brain are real.
There are many things that you can do to help your memory and your brain and diet is one of the first things you can start with easily.
It is not on this list but drinking plenty of water is also great for your brain.
I hope you benefit from my list of healthy brain foods let me know in comments your favorite or if you have any I should had to my next list of top brain foods for memory

These foods are important, but the most important of all is more water and proper sleep for the brain and stay away from too much sugar and caffeine.
    Caffeine is good in moderation.

"more water" is only applicable if a person isn't already drinking enough. Too much water is also bad because it flushes out much needed electrolytes and salts.

I am also preparing workshops to teach people how to get out of depression, transform their lives, make it through tough times, etc. Yes all different types. Anyway on those I need some basics about the brain, the neurotransmitters, Amino Acids and the proper diet. Along with proper actions, thought process etc.

I felt relieved when you said you lost 20lbs from thinking. Because I trained my memory for over a month and lost 11.9lbs within that month.
People thought I was nuts when I told them I lost weight from thinking.
Since then I never truly recovered because I developed unhealthy habits, and then my brain went to shit.
Hopefully your inspiring knowledge will help me to recover.

He giving good advice. I eat all those things, and lots of it everyday. I never labeled them as brain food, I ate some for top antioxidant property, blueberry for anti-cancer property, turmeric for anti-inflammatory property, flax for omega 3, Actually, broccoli is my favorite vegetable, somehow my body and limbic knew the biochemistry before I intellecutally knew, I craved broccoli if I don't eat cruciferus veggie....broccoli is one top anti-cancer food, but it best for liver to for sulphorane for glutathione.......another anti-cancer food. but chocolate......I eat that cause I like the dopamine effect....sorry, like the druggie effect, phenethylamine, but can't go to brain....lacking CH3, get whack out by MAO immediately in body. It the caffeine that can enter the brain. don't like caffeine effect.

Come at this from the other direction too : blood flow.
Japanese Natto, Aged Gouda Cheese, Goose Liver, Sauerkraut, all that type of food has Vitamin K2. These help channel calcium out of your blood and into your bones, where it belongs! Otherwise, arteries can harden due to calcification. This also creates clots, clogging, etc.
Try and keep anxiety in check too.
