I saw a Clio Williams at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the early 2000's on the Renault stand. It was left hand drive but was actually going rusty around the windows and looked tatty. I wonder if this was the same car. If so it has had a respray since then.
As s bodyman of 30yrs, I was a little taken back at the £7,000 pound restoration cost for a car that appeared on camera to be rather clean. A fresh respray of the car should’ve run a couple grand in US dollars. To recondition the wheels…about $180.00 per wheel. I’m not sure where the extra few thousand pounds went to fix it up🤷♂️ New tires and decals…maybe another £600 pounds?

My friend had no 277/400 the number plate was L400 WMS I use to try and keep up in my blue 1.8 16v. He smashed it up in the end and the car got scrapped “tragically”

"I'm after originality"
Here you go mate, a resprayed car!
Well if it was resprayed lime green then yeah, but I think quality respray in original paint is nothing bad
@@2008tourer yeah, but it's not "original" like the guy said he was after. I don't think there is anything wrong with that, but seems odd.
I'm pretty sure you could 3d print an entire Renault 😂
Your here looking too ?
Thanks for this.
Is it possible that you`ll upload the entire episode - Salvage Hunters Classic Cars S04E02?
Pretty please.
Worst negotiation ever.
Buyer wanted "originality" then walks away with a restored one.
£50 for 2 clips. Just ridiculous. I’m almost 100% certain you can find them clips just not for a clio.
Defeats the point of being able to say it has "original parts" purists can be real that's about little shit like that lol
Fore a Peugeot 106 rally has them 2
You can buy them online from France £6.00 a pair plus postage.

I had a 5-gt turbo 20 year ago I sold it for peanuts 😭
Bet your from Yorkshire 😅
Or you could have bought them online for £6.00 a pair.
Loads available.
Another terrible "Car" show, made just to pander to the wims of the presenters . . . 😤
the Renault logo on the hood is not the right one
Can I pay you to do up mine lol😅
Mantap bosku semoga sehat selalu bosku
hahaha replica stickers because you can no longer buy the original ones, now would you tell me something I still have them in the original renault box
The fact they only pull small profits from huge investments blows my mind, let's spend 13k to make 2k.... alright then
Spending 13k to quickly make 2k makes sense but this won't be a turnaround at all
@@gavincollins9376 after costs and wages to themselves they will have lost money. Will have to pay tax on that as well.
