Title should really be "Drew Pritchard pays other people to restore a car"
Yeah, I've become tired of the show and tired of him. Still, it's somewhat interesting but he now grates on me.
No point having a dog and barking yourself.
He was bang on with that colour 👌
This car was designed & engineered ..to a large extent by my Uncle..Brian cunnington..pic on my page of a drawing of the elan...remember going out out with him in pre production prototypes
At 2:10, you can see the windscreen surround is the later type, correct for the +2S but at the end it has lost it, for the 1968 era plastic chrome-strip in rubber (which my car has), so either they lost it or it's a different car. My +2 is a very similar colour (think Austin Metro metallic blue) but I'm thinking of restoring the Carnival Red or maybe a blue with a bit more blue, like the Lotus Lagoon Blue. The worse colour combination in my opinion was pistachio with the silver roof, I looked at one before buying mine 30+ years ago.
Lovely to see. That was the first car I tried to buy from a fellow. Racing green with a yellow stripe. In the end I went for the BRG 74 TR6. Still miss that car. Good times.
You gentlemen have saved me a great deal of money. I had no idea the amount of maintenance on a fiberglass .sports car. While i love the lines on an old Elon Lotus, the maintenance is just to crazy. Again thank you gentlemen.
What a relief compared to all these shouting and screaming, tasteless american "car shows" keep up the good work gentlemen, greetings from the netherlands😊
Steve Porritt is correct ,windscreen surround problem huge job to change late model style to earlier style , probably a different car
Fast becoming desirable they are so beautiful in the flesh and great fun to drive
amazing colour!

Hey Drew my man❤❤❤❤❤
I like the car ones 😃🤘
I had access to a yellow one..I worked at a car lot….boss would buy the elans, the frame(?) needed replacing!
He had a black one and got an orange one, which I painted yellow…we would tear up the town..they break transaxle.
Pretty car.
urgh strombergs
Beautiful colour, but why would anyone repair a Lucas 7” headlight bezel, they were used on nearly every round headlight car from the mid 1950’s to 1970’s, they’re 10 a penny, Drew knows that, such nonsense!
Bizarre, isn’t it.
Said he eanted to keep it original
Changing the colour wont match with the ID plate so devalued it
Not always particularly when the original paintwork is shit.
Try not putting your back out, entering and exiting..
Pritchard should stick to garage furniture. Leave this to professionals
Sorry drew you prick hard 😂
An opinion, but red was better
Drew chooses a colour then does yet another tour of a chroming factory. Yawn.
Very undesirable Stromberg carbs instead of Webers. Look worse, sounds worse and performs worse.
Sorry, but a +2 is not one of the most desired classic cars.
One of the best classic sports cars in my opinion.
Beautiful shape car
Do your research. Consistently on of the most beautiful lists. Actually quite rare at this point.
