- A short summary of all the work TB put into his Mercedes 190E with a M119 5.0L V8 Ethanol Turbo before it chrashed.
While other people might lose ther motivation by a big chrash like this, TB instead see this as an opportunity to rebuild the car even better.

Sometimes shit like that happens, what matters is that no one was injured. All you can do now, is to rebuild the car, better and more powerful than before

Hi my friend went to Wien. He got a dishwasher job. He worked 3 years all time, every day 12-14 hours except mondays. After when he had enough money for his dream, he came home and bought that Subaru Impreza. Also he bought many of tuning parts, turbo, injectors, pistons, etc, etc, he wanted a 400 hp Impreza.
When the car was done, the guy started the engine, and falled in to the river by the car. But before the river he hit out a tree as well. The total coast was almost 30.000 euro. He was suffering a lot to got out at the rear door's window accros the rollbars.
He is dishwashing now again. He has some idea with his broken Subaru...
But this Mercedes is crazy :) Beautiful job! Thanks for video.

What an amazing build. This guy needs to find that 900hp E34 M5 driver and call themselves Trolls Europe Express and destroy exotics across the continent.
A big ass E34 is gonna need alot more than 900hp to outrun the Mighty 190 :P
W201 is a true classic, great build, sad to see that beast go into a wall, good luck repairing it, hope to see it back on the road soon!
But W124 is far better looking - especially on the rear side.

Did something similar years ago spent a year or more building a car first six hours l hit a hyw divider front right. Took another year to rebuild.

How did you align the bellhousing prior to welding?
With a custom aluminum centering "sleeve" on the input shaft of the gearbox that gets bolted to the crank. There is a video of it on this channel somehwere

Are you guys using a Tilton clutch 28spline after the machining of the g6s to mount to the m119?
I’m debating on an m104 auto or m119 manual and not sure what clutch I would use. Thanks for all the videos. They inspire so much!

It's a quatermaster 7.25" 2 disc rally clutch. Basically the same as Tilton, AP, etc. I have the CAD files for the flywheel is someone is interested

Zero engine mods :) Just a big turbo, E85 and carefull tuning.
I belive non of the M119 eninge have oil cools pistons. But it seems the block is the weak link, since i cracked the 5.0 open deck block.

Yep, unopened stock M119. Its been running VEMS V3.8 but its going to get MaxxECU this year.

The engine is from a AMG E50 from 1998. The rear i still W201, and stock in the videos, but it now has a BMW E60 M5/M6 diff and axles.
Why it is even recommended to me? It breaks my heart
Id just try to replicate the desired suspension geometry with a tube front end. Much easier to replace in case of accident

how did you crash ? it's hard for me to belive the car oversteer , since you tuned it alot , was it because the guy in front of you could't send it to the track and you had to hard brake to not hit him ?
All traction lost due to oil spill on the track.

~800hp at the moment. Would be nice with a little bit more next year though 😁
@@dynochannel lol hmmmm, that's 400 per tyre,, what sort of psi are you running the 5.0 to produce 800. Can I guess? I say maybe 14 psi???
@@alanchatfield5533 i would say 22 to 30 psi, since stock 5.0 is in the mid 300ps

@@alanchatfield5533 The 5.0 AMG engine made 800whp at 1.25 bar 18psi. This 4.2 engine makes just about 700whp at the same boost. It has the AMG 5.0 cams in it. And E85 and the headers really boosts the power.
