I had a chihuahua that every time you held him over water he would start swimming and I had a golden retriever that every time I said smile he would bere his teeth and neither of those tricks were taught they just learned them on their own
I have three huskys and they all do the basic tricks but they each have one that only they do, my big boy will give a kiss, my girl will stand and my little boy can give a high ten putting his front paws on my palms

First and most important lesson every dog every breed should learn that can save its life is "drop to place" on command. This is very good if youre dog gets loose and there is traffic for example.
As far as teaching My Husky tricks she learned very quickly that when I asked her to sit she knows I'm going to ask for tricks so she'll go sit high five, spin, and then lay down before I even ask it's crazy she remembered so I started changing it up I'm now I'm having a hard time getting her out of her memorized routine. It's supposed to be about listing and following commands but you can't get mad at this 🙄she smart
Along with sit, stay, and come the most important one imo is threshold training, if properly trained they will not run outside without a command, my husky and my lab mix both wait and never bolt because of it, that was not the case when they were first rescued.
My 2 huskies both learn sit down and stay because of their food. No sit-down no obedience no food. But aside from that my female puppy before was smarter she is very talkative saying wayawaya in our dialect means devil devil crazy pup I miss her a lot she is very sweet always kiss us and fast learner her name is Star but she died after 5 days of her post Parvo vaccination.

Do you have advice for a dog who runs off in the woods or road as often as she can. She loves it, every time they catch her she's smiling like no regrets.
Hi, you have both of them off the leash! I have my 7 month husky off leash always but do not trust her off leash outside of gated area 😢 please tell me how long their attention spam is for them? My dog is very short 😊
My dog was tracking the other day and she decided to start rolling and I thought she was scratching her back so I let her do it a min,then said"okay come on let's keep pace" & I quickly remembered days before there was a FLATTENED ANIMAL CARCASS and that's exactly what was there! Except it was moved 🤦🤢 😂
My youngest siberian husky is 17 months old now, and often when he don’t get it his way he will start jumping and biting and it is hard to calm him down enough to listen. I have a feeling he thinks he is the boss. Do you have any tips for chaning this behaviour?
My husky grew up with kids and this was my number one priority. I wanted the kids to be able to give him treats without having to worry about it. Highly recommend teaching it first or atleast really early on.
How I get my steps in every day. I sneak and grab, but Max usually wins. He loves any kind of paper garbage or any type of contraband. What a poop head! All the other huskies bow to my commands… just kidding
@@hunkaboomer Oh trust me I have one that loves paper towels 😂 She is 4 months old. She is learning though, I think she is learning faster than my other 2 did. I honestly think having the older boys has helped her learn.
@@67jujub max is the super smartest of all… so paper is not the biggest deal of all. They all eventually outgrow it. The rest of my huskies just laugh and laugh. They say, “A treat is way better than a paper towel!”
is anyone like me and takes constant measurements of their pup? just curious because mine is 3 months ahead of the growth curve for weight and height and she's not fat - she has a waistline. Starting to think shes part wolf on her dads side even though she's supposed to be a full breed. 6 months old, 45lbs, 20 inches tall, female
