I was always against organized religion & big churches, & i still am. But i found that u can have a personal relationship with Jesus, without all that other stuff. It has changed my life & my perspective on things 🙏. Waiting for some of my requests, i know i have a lot lol! Like Gigi & Tamia's OFFICIALLY MISSING YOU.
Your friend's suggestion of tea & honey sounds good. Honey is good for everything esp raw. I don't know what's going on with ur throat but i guess take anything that is anti-inflammatory like turmeric, celtic salt, and always drink lots of water to hydrate.

I’m praying for you always and every now and then would love to hear your experience. Mine has not been great lately but as the Word says, I paraphrase, even in the darkest storm I know He holds me up!

I'm still in search of a church or in-person Bible study group that I will resonate with, but i haven't found it yet. It's hard coz I'm in the New York area & too many people here are being influenced by the dark side lol! (sometimes without realizing it). My story is a bit different. My whole adult life i was into new age, spirituality, dabbled in eastern religions, mysticism, kabbalah, paganism, gnosticism, etc, but later realized it was leading me to the false Light (of Lucifer). That's when I started reading the Bible. It's kind of hard bc the Bible has been translated & interpeted in so many ways, so it's impt to have the Holy Spirit. I'm still new & learning as I travel in this amazing journey. Praying for u, your family, & the rest of the world 🙏
@HappyKat9 great story HK! I think all of us whether we know it or not pursue the false light! For me at one point it was drugs, then alcohol the sex etc
I got so disgusted with these false idols I ran to Christ!!
I believe wherever you are, keep listening to the Holy Spirit and He will help you find people to worship with.
Please, stay in the Word! I know it’s been translated several times but I’m one who believes the Spirit translates it ultimately
Personally, not a big fan of the NIV but don’t know why
I mainly use the New King James. It might be an old guy preference, but most of the church uses it. The pastor uses several translations but relies heavily on the NKJV

@@Anothercoverlover62 Yes I know people who have been able to overcome their addiction to alcohol, drugs & sex by going to Jesus! I've read parts of KJV & NIV (i havent read the whole Bible yet). Yes ppl have told me too, it doesn't matter so much what version ur reading, as long as u have the Holy Spirit in u. I did hear the Septuagint is very good, & next is the Geneva Bible. I will check them out as well.

I went to YT and listened to both. I’ve heard Bobby sing this many times but it still seems like the first time for me. I have so many emotions and memories tied up in the RB version.
On the other hand, Lucy’s voice catches me in a way I can’t describe! I’m relatively new to her and her sister so I feel I need to listen more.
In my opinion and only mine, Bobby sang it better but that’s my personal opinion!

Hi Barbara. Jeff only needs to go into his requests. I put up Lucy and Vannie Vabiola with Bobby as a back up if Vannie got blocked. This song from a 1955 movie has been covered thousands of times. Four covers have made it to number one. Bobby Hatfields version only made it to number four. Out of the many covers I have heard Lucy is the only one that has the range of Bobby. But she does it without going into a falsetto. Her lower register here just resonates my soul in this. I call it a toss up. I have listened to RB since it came out in the sixties. I💌Lucy Perhaps he will do a rare three fer and add Gigi?
