Some years ago I got myself a composite stock links tbolt 22lr, with a cheap 3-9x40 scope and a a-tec wave supressor on it. I love the action and it's precision. Shooting mostly cci sub sonic 40gr, it's so silent that no ear protection is needed. Also in the butt of the composite stock there is place to store the second magazine.

@TH-bj1pb That's a perfect setup you're running. I can see why you love that. I've seen that compartment in the buttstock for a spare magazine and agree that's a really cool feature. Cans on a .22 are a big win as well.

Thanks Boss! Appreciate the video. You're the only one that I've seen mention the wheel in the magazine. Good info. I have a Ruger American with the infamous rotary magazine. Looks like the Browning is a better design. I'm actually pulling the trigger on buying a T-Bolt tomorrow. Cheers!

I'm glad you found the video helpful. They stick it to you on the price of the magazines, but I'm 100% happy with them and the rifle. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Best wishes.

I've got the older one with some of the thick varnish on the stock with crackles, but I don't mind because it still looks good and is a high-quality firearm. Scoped and sweet, quiet (no suppressor) shooter.

@@joelbartels1852 Nice. That sounds like the kind of rifle a man is proud to have in his arsenal.

I’ll definitely keep my Anschutz 1710 54-action sporter. Haven’t found anything better including my Cooper JSR.

The plastic parts and the gimmick name of the "double helix" magazine kinda spoils the good work they have done. The magazine and ammunition orientation has nothing to do with a double helix. They market it to those that failed biology class but remember double helix is some kind of complex shape of DNA. The plastic parts are a bit disapointing too for the price they are asking for one. The looks and finish are second to none of the mass produced guns and they have a reputation for exceptional accuracy. Those maple stocks look really nice against the dark metal components and the Walnut stocks look nice as well. The action is a cock on closing but you get used to it quickly. You would never need to look at another sporter again with this one.

It's not completely perfect for everyone's taste, but it is everything I personally need for my rimfire purposes.

I have a T-Bolt in 22HMR with a Leupold 3.5-15 x 44 VX-5HD scope. Haven't had a chance to fire it yet. It's okay.....but I don't like the cheap plastic magazine or trigger housing. To be honest I liked Browning's Model 52 replica in 22 rimfire that was made in Japan a lot better. I foolishly sold that gun and they don't make it anymore.
