Great job, the only thing I would have done different, is I would have painted my frame mount bracket black.... And sprayed the nuts and thread's down with silicone spray to protect them from rust and corrosion... This makes it much easier to dismantle in future. Just my personal preference 👍 thank you and cheers from the States.
Some of the best Jimny content on UA-cam, keep it coming! :)
Thanks! :D
Hey great job. Your presentation is excellent and easy to understand. I have a jimny with this problem. I bought a steering kit and my local garage did not fit it so this video has helped in making my decision to fit it myself. Thanks for sharing!😘🇬🇧👍
Your video gave me a little more confidence in trying to put a steering stabalizer on my vehicle. My problem is trying to find the parts.
your welcome!
you might wanna check out the kit I used. www.umeaoffroad.se/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=53_264_385_284&products_id=766

Good Day!
Dear Kim ,
Just a question ,maybe you have experienced vibration on Jimny when speed rise from 70-80 km/hr ? May be you have advice how to deal with that .
Could be many reason, balancing wheels, alignment, worned out bushings, worned out ball joints even break parts can cause vibrations if its the break parts vibrations often change as you apply the breaks.
You need to check all those parts for play that shouldt be there and try narrow it down.
I've seen exactly the same issue on a 2002 Jimny at 75kmph. It's almost like some sort of resonance happens with the wheels wobbling and can get quite violent. I saw that it was happening on one specific stretch of asphalt road fairly consistently which had small repeated bumps in it.
My local tire shop pointed out that some of the tires I had were old and weren't perfectly round, so I'm replacing those and also getting the alignment checked.
Let's see if that helps, but any other suggestions would be fantastic!
This helped out alot thank you
Where do I buy that shock absorber online for Suzuki Jimny 2009?
I did the same way. But when offroad, the mounting on the passenger side hits the steering rod. My Jimny is not lifted. Any ideas how to cancel that?
Great job, how long is the shock when compressed and extended?😊
And your mount does not hit the panara? I installed a set from Iron Man, there is a similar mount, and it hits the panar on my off-road, I had to move the mount to another place.
I had no such issues
I'm building a 79 CJ7. I bought the rugged ridge HD steering amd drag links that are larger in diameter then the standard 1" to 1.25". I believe they are 1.25" to 1.5". I bought the required 90 degree stabilizer bracket but I cannot find the bushing that goes snug in the hole like you showed. I contacted the site and they don't have it. Can you or anyone help me find the right bushing???
Just bought a 2012 Jimny today. Finding the suspension very light and wobbly (not steering death wobble) just very light power steering and almost much too soft shocks... is this common?
I would say it's pretty common for this types of cars. If you ad a lift or other suspension parts that isn't oem it might stiff it upp
Could also be that your shocks are worned out.
If you drive over a speed bump you don't want the car to spring up and down several times of it does your shocks are done.
Steering wise a damper also stiff it up slightly. But worned out balljoints can also case light steering.
But the Jimny is also a light car.
@@Kim_Alexander thank you!
