I remembered watching Queer As Folk and although Emmett Honeycutt was a "Social Butterfly" he managed to always pay his Rent and the like. Also not to sound stereotypical but Gay Guys live to party, if there are Seven Days per week, they would go out Four Days and do it all, The Gym, The Cafes, Restaurants, Clubhopping. If they had to choose between paying Bills or buying Food or the latest outfit, they would chose the "Outfit" or Food to eat and to keep up a image. His UK Counterpart Alexander quit is Job as a Waiter because he had to work on Saturday and he had to be where the Action was.
