Such a brilliant idea! When you talked about taping the wick/mechanics area, all I could think of was silly putty. It comes in handy around the house for the weirdest things, & I think this might be another one. As long as the wax isn't too hot (like before you can ditch the pot holders), a blob of silly putty around the wick might be enough of a barrier. I can't wait to try this 🙂
Pour melted wax in a Pyrex measuring cup, it has a spout and a handle. You had me cringing! Love ya and don’t want to see you hurt. Great idea tho, will give this a try.
Yay!! Since I saw your post on ig about the drip candles ,I have been waiting for this notification. Clicked on it fast!!! Love love love all your ideas!! You are so precious, your momma truly does do all things beautiful( quoting you from your last video), bc you are beautiful inside and out!! Thank you for sharing your talent!! Now, I need to go find old candles...and not burn myself! 😉 Merry Christmas! 🎄
It would work, but only as long as it took for the wax to build up inside, dry and then clog the opening. 😊 I think you’d have to constantly be cleaning it out.
Wouldn't it work if you had the wax in a bowl and you dribbled it on with a spoon? That way you'd be less likely to pour it on yourself and you'd be able to control the wax more.

You are so welcome!

That would work too!
I love this idea! I'm going to do this for candles on my mantle ❤
Have fun with it!

Haha have fun with the project!
Your amazing!! Love this idea i will definitely try this ! Thank you once again be blessed
Have fun!
Thanks really neat, just thinking you could also use wax tarts in a warmer and when it’s melted just spoon out the wax
Yes! Great idea!
Genius. Truly. Why haven’t I thought of this? Thank you!!
Have fun making them!
Great idea! I’ll be trying this!
Thank you so much!
Will painters tape work to seal off open areas of the candle?
Yes that would work!
Thank you
You’re welcome!
You can make a knobby candle by putting mod podge on a candle and rolling it in instant coffee and cinnamon or spices. Very cool looking.
Great idea!
What’s a knobby candle
Could you not use a tool like a pipett to drip the wax on?
You could try! But I think once you’ve sucked the hot wax up, it would dry inside and eventually it would clog.
Oh yeah! Didn’t think of that haha duh maybe not then
Just wondering with the wax melted on the stove: would a turkey baster used just for this work easier than pouring???

The plastic might melt. I would suggest a spoon. Would provide more control
If you don’t have a old jar candle you could break up a tapper candy and melt it in a clean can (ie veggie can) love your ideas! Looks amazing!
Great idea!!
This is so beautiful! Did you use anything to keep the sticks in your brass holders?!
Nope! They stuck just fine. 😁
@@GraceInMySpace awesome! I’m going to try this, I have a nice collection on vintage brass holders but also a toddler 🤣 thank you for reaching out!

I did try it that way as well but it took a very long time to get a good build up. Definitely doable but requires patience.
I’m not trying to sound rude I just wanted to say I use my glue gun to make the drips they are so pretty and you have great ideas on your videos 😊
That’s a great idea!
"Don't burn yo'self" - I hear ya Sarah :-)
😂😁😁
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just dip it
Talk about suspense...
-HOT GLUE GUN
-PAINT
Easier to control, you can do it on any color candle and then paint it said candles color, not messy what so ever.
Great idea!
Wax seal wax in your glue gun
