Maybe I'm weird but Dubai has never been one of those places I've dreamt of visiting. It just seems too flashy. A modern concrete jungle. Maybe it's because I'm drawn to nature, colder climates, and old architectures.
I'm from Europe and I find it really fascinating how he talks about the 90s like an ancient time. We talk this way about maybe the 1700s or 1800s. It's like there is a collective knowledge as a nation, and his ancestors just 70 years ago lived so differently and the UAE as a nation didn't exist yet.

The yellow and trimmed floor in Excellency Room is the most beautiful floor finish, I’ve ever seen. Gold finishes and opulent styling are excellent.Rotating bed.....Ahhh. 😴 Totally Gorgeous Burj. Home away from home. Anything is possible.

Omg I remember when I was at Dubai last summer. It was amazing ! I was at a aquatic park and we could see the burj al Arab from the top of an attraction. That was absolutely beautiful. I really wish I could go there once in my life. Dubai was one of the most beautiful place I’ve been. People are so friendly (i remember one day when I was really tired and sat on the ground. A random man stopped and asked me if everything was okay, so kind people there!), you can easily get water (which is really important out there because it’s too hot), there are really good things to do, you will never (or extremely rarely) experienced pickpocketing etc. I really wish I could go back there this summer. I do not regret subscribing to your Chanel! You and your wife are such amazing! You guys have a good and pure heart ! May Allah bless y’all 🤍

i've always wanted to go in the burg al Arab but today I got to see virtually, thank you for this virtual experience Khalid Al Ameri. I came to dubai for 2 weeks for holiday with my family and i went to the burrj khalifa to the 150th floor, it was sooo cool. i love dubai.

As someone who has lived in Dubai for 22 years, I hope some of the hidden gems in the old part of town also get much love as the palm jumeirah area and anything on the side of sh zayed road. Like historic bastakiya, corniche, bur dubai for the not-so-flashy dubai experience. Well, I live in Karama and wouldn't want to change that

Sheraton hotel was way way ahead of its time. The atrium was breath taking and nothing like that existed anywhere at that time and its iconic pyramid shape with the boat on the top. Yes everything gets old with time but to design a building like that way back in the 80's was amaizng

Wow. I remember the atrium in Sheraton hotel in Doha in late 80’s had such a similar vibe, obviously not as prestigious but was amazing for the 80’s ❤️
Sheraton hotel was way way ahead of its time. The atrium was breath taking and nothing like that existed anywhere at that time and its iconic pyramid shape with the boat on the top. Yes everything gets old with time but to design a building like that way back in the 80's was amaizng
