Welcome to our channel! We are so glad you're here!
We're Randy and Jamie Williams. In 2017, we sold everything and bought a Jayco Pinnacle 40' fifth wheel and Ram 3500 dually and set out to travel the country doing travel therapy.
We didn't know anything about RVing, but did it anyway. We ended up falling in love with RVing and traveling this beautiful country.
We traveled coast to coast 4 times and made more memories in a few years than we ever thought possible!
THEN COVID HIT!
There were no more therapy contracts for us and it made us pivot. We realized how important traveling was to us and wanted to figure out how to travel more and on our own terms.
We decided to give up travel therapy, sell our fifth wheel and dually, get a smaller set up so we can go on a Bucket List adventure!
We have learned so much since starting our RV life and we can't wait to share it all with you!
We'd love it if you would subscribe to our channel and join in our adventures!

Such an awesome video. I love how you explain everything. I’ve been looking for a mini-washer. Thank you so very much for your review. ❤
So glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and leaving such a nice comment!! ❤️
Whats all there to do?
Not anything to do but walk around the property. It’s a nice quiet place to stay with full hooks for a fee. It was $40 but not sure what the current price is.
You inspired me to actually do my first load! It’s running now!
That’s awesome! Hope it went well!
Will a men's medium one-piece work cover all fit or how many adult jeans will fit? Trying to get an idea of capacity. I work in clay and need to wash clay out and drain in filtering system before putting in regular washer.
You said about 2 towels, is this 2 ft x 4 ft thick towels?
I would think a one piece work cover all would fit. 2 pairs of jeans and a few shirts would fit. 2 towels that are 2’x4’ plus a few small items fit.
Just what I was looking for, thanks and really well done ! I am going to use mine in my apartment shower stall. I does not angle like your RV shower. Will the washer be high enough off of the floor? I'm worried about the electricity and water!
Set it on something to elevate it to be safe. Good luck!
@@RoamInYourHome Yes, but what? Most things will also cover the drain (which is in the center, as is typical for a shower stall) unless I cut a hole in it (such as a plastic "under the bed" type container. But yeah, don't want water & electricity to mix!!!!!! I think I'll try two of those foldable plastic stool gizmos...
Good idea!
@@RoamInYourHome I have a couple of the 9" tall ones already; I will try then when the unit arrives tomorrow. Hope it is stable, doesn't shake off! If it works, I'll buy two new ones @ 13" tall, because I'm 6'6" and the extra height will mean less bending over.
Keep me posted how it works.
Very helpful. Thank you 😊
So glad you found it helpful!
Im looking at a murphy bed setup with dinette and after considering close to a dozen, it’s between this one and a 2108s winnebago. I think the Rockwood is winning though.
We have been to multiple huge RV shows and have seen them all. Rockwood has the best quality and floor plan that we’ve seen. Good luck!
But how do you put it together
It came put together.
We are looking for the correct model for 2022 Tacoma SR5. Our preferred bed is a walk around type
Check all the numbers of your truck - payload, towing capacity, GVWR and then look at all the numbers on RVs. Make sure you keep in mind the weights of people and other stuff that will be riding in the truck as well as if you have propane tanks full, and other tanks full. There is a lot to keep in mind when doing your research.
Suds from it is annoying though
@@kiesha.primoxo8628 I agree!
Adjust your volume!! Cannot hear you!!!
We were having technical difficulties but re-recorded it here with improved audio. ua-cam.com/video/whazeR1E8UU/v-deo.htmlsi=7THFXmgKKFYUNjS5
WOW. Very labor intensive and cannot leave while operating? I wash many of my clothes by hand. System I have seems much simpler than all of this! So glad I watched this vid BEFORE purchasing something like this!
Glad it helped you decide against it.
Seems Like Alot To Rinse The Clothes I Just Put Them In The Spinner After Wash Cycle And Rinse Them For 5 Minutes While They Are On The Spin Side Then I Just Continue The Spin Cycle For Drying
I’ll have to try that.
With 11 states already banning RV's and more to come, we will be downsizing from a Class C Thor 25' at over 12,000 pounds. Check out this video for more info ( ua-cam.com/video/meeiZknjjPQ/v-deo.html) We have been looking at the Rockwood Mini Lite's to tow with our F-150.
I haven’t heard anything about it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Awesome episode! Well done! 👏
Thanks so much for being a part of this episode, Desiree!!!❤️
@ thanks for including me!
Great video and helpful information. We are getting ready to retire and were very interested in the Rockwood Mini Lite line, namely the 2205s. But the tongue weight and GVWR was on the top-end of our towing veh so we dropped down in size to the 2104s. After some research and seeing it at a dealer, we learned the bed could not be down when the slide is in which was not ideal. So we are now looking at the 2109s as it seems to check all the boxes. Can't wait for the day we pull the trigger!
Thanks for watching and commenting. The 2109s is the perfect compromise! There are so many owners that love that model. Congratulations! Enjoy!
Super perfect and informative video thank you so much and kudos extra points for being a good human and always mentioning safety first like how we used to be taught. That’s so amazing to me today. How people just oh my gosh I am I am constantly. I won’t shut up. I’m constantly saying safe Safe one of my little my quirks and my high functioning autism and you know I see all the patterns and everything and so I always know everything is like bothers me. I have to watch everybody do everything to make sure they’re gonna do it correctly. You would if I don’t know or haven’t done before because my brain already knows the pattern of something before I’ve done it since a lot of patterns the same, which makes it really easy for me to work on the car into electrical work. You know my grandfather taught me to do stuff like that like Charlie made like 14 and I’ve done all of my own work on my car is in my and I’m taking auto lighting college taking auto electrical rewired everything I’ve done wiring in my own house, putting wires and stuff inside that air conditioning condenser just all kind of thing. Anything I’ve done myself is so empowering, but always safety first and always make sure that they understand the entire from beginning to end project so that you don’t have unforeseen things come up and then go. Oh I didn’t know I was supposed to do it emergency now yeah dumb dumb because you didn’t learn what we were doing. Pro didn’t make sure that you were able to do all that or even had any of the complete tools and and or abilities do it and so now everybody’s watching and learning how to do things wrong not you might you but you know a lot of people nowadays they just don’t have any accountability or theway all even go gosh I wonder if I’m teaching this correctly so but I’m not giving false information and making people unsafe so it’s really a pet peeve of mine and RN so there I’m a safety police free and Nurse so tada and also I’m a super hard-core jock and if it was man and he can’t whoop me so safe fall everybody be well OK thanks for listening
So glad you found it helpful! Proud of all you’re doing! Keep up the great work!

Are you sponsored in any way ?
Not at all. Just didn’t find a great tutorial when we bought it so I figured I’d do one.
We just bought a 2104S. Love it so far!!!!
Congratulations!!!
Hey nice video but I have a question, isn’t it dirty if your cloths are spinning in the dirty water? Is there a way that it changes water automaticly, thanks
The clothes are not spinning in dirty water. First, you wash. Then you rinse. Then you spin.
We have a 2020 minilite and love it… been a perfect lightweight rig. A few of the biggest tips that I will give you for long-term camping like this in an RV if you want to save electricity and you’ve probably already figured some of these out but they are… Bring a cooler full of drinks, that you ice down… A good cooler that can keep stuff cold for three or four days. And keep that under the kitchen table when you’re parked, keep it in the bed of the truck when you’re moving. That way, you’re not keeping any of your water or sodas in the refrigerator for the most part which cuts down 80% on how often it gets opened. Next thing… if you’re going to keep a bunch of water bottles in the refrigerator… Freeze them before you leave home, completely solid as a rock. Then load up the refrigerator with all the food and the frozen water bottles and it will have to run a lot less. If it’s some point, you have access to electricity during the trip you can always re-freeze the water bottles in the freezer and then put them back in the refrigerator. I even do this at home just so that if I lose power I’ve always got a buffer in my freezer. Another thing that you can do so you don’t have to deal with so many bags and all that kind of stuff is go to Walmart and get you one of those blue aquatainer cubes. The whole 6 gallons of water and come with a dispenser spout that makes it very handy… They have a five year warranty and are very rugged and have a built-in handle. I’ll tell you another ingenious way to get rid of gray water if you’re staying out on BLM land in an arid environment (and I don’t mean dumping it on the ground)… go to the hardware store and get a 5 gallon bucket and a bag of sand… Put the bag of sand in the 5 gallon bucket and then use your a little bowl trick in the sink or whatever. Then you can pour that water into the bucket till it gets about three-quarter full… You’ll be very surprised with the sun shining on it all day, and the wind blowing that it will evaporate a huge amount in one day. Several gallons per day. Especially if the temps are approaching 100° or higher. All the pollutants or chemicals will stay trapped in the sand and you can take it home with you and put it in the trash to be disposed of in the landfill with your garbage. You might be able to get rid of 20 gallons a week worth of water like that. As for an inverter/converter/charger I highly recommend taking advantage of the Victron Quattro II 120. It’s specifically designed for North American units and it’s a three kVA inverter with dual inputs for sure power and the generator and dual outputs so that it knows what’s coming into it and what’s going out of it and it’s smart. It can use power from either source to either charge your batteries or run the load you have attached to it and it can use power from one source to boost the other source if the first source is not strong enough. It can also integrate with their solar hardware to form a complete system, as well as integrating with one of their DC to DC units to allow you to charge the system with your vehicle. It’s really the total package all in one box that will fit inside your pass-through storage for about $1300 and you can set it up to where it replaces the existing inverter and takes the short power feed, and also has a connection for you to plug your generator into as well. It’s smarter than I am sometimes. It can even be programmed with schedules, so it knows when solar will be available to do certain things. I also recommend when you install the Victron that you install a second battery inside your pass-through storage so that you have one battery specifically for the inverter and a second battery that you’re keeping on charge that’s isolated just for maybe the fridge and your 12 V items. The Victron can still charge both of them, you would just put an isolator, so that one battery couldn’t drain down the other. That way, no matter how much you use running other things you’re 12 V system battery would still have its full voltage to run just the refrigerator and key items.
Wow!! Thank you so much for all the awesome tips! We sure appreciate you taking the time to do that!
I had one but seemed like it got heavier. So i got rid of it. Got the single washer version that spins too. Spin function is crap. ẞo i bout a hanging clothes dryer that heats up. Works for me!!!!!!!!!!

My indoor cat has all sorts of comfy spots around the house, some are obvious, like the ottoman or the back of the couch, but then there's the basket I keep firewood in with the wood still in there, or the wire industrial shelves in the storage room where I keep the canned goods etc. Neither appear comfy, and yet she's frequently passed out, blissfully unaware of the world around her.
So funny all the different places they like to sleep!
