Great stuff. Let’s see. You Covered water clarity and currents. ,bait color type and sizes. Sound, Depth, Presentation, and spawn situations. Your gooooood!!!!!
Extremely old school finesse Carolina rig: depending on depth I turn to a 3/16th mojo sinker w/a Rubber peg 12"-16" above a 1/0-2/0 hook as for baits I mainly keep it simple w/ a 3" S&P Grub clear or smoke pending water clarity along w/ a 3" to 4¹/²" straight tail/ curly tail finesse worm
When I need to go super finesse on a c-rig; I’ll use a light wire finesse hook with a TRD/Chico stick. I’ll use it with a 6’ 10” medium action spinning setup with 12# braid to the swivel with a 18” 8# floro past the swivel. 1/4 Oz tungsten.
If ur on rayburn with a c rig, a junebug lizard with a chartr tail and a finesse worm in morning dawn, carolina rigged 2/0 fine wire hook. Right now. Creek channel bends.
Good tips! This is one of those finesse rigs I've not tried yet. If no rain I'll be trying next week! Kids did a good job catching and netting at the end :P
#1) Zoom 4” Dead Ringer, #2) Zoom 4” Centipede, #3) Zoom 6” Lizard, #4) Zoom 4 1/2” Finesse Worm or 6” Creme Scoundrel, #5) Zoom 6 1/2” T͏r͏ic͏k Worm. I have not used Senkos or Flukes on a Carolina but maybe I should? Thanks Andrew. Now I need a bigger boat. . Colors: #1) Watermelon Red or Green Pumpkin , #2) Pumpkin Seed, #3) Red Shad or Plum #4) Chartreuse Pepper #5) Black or Blue
I like a c rig but this time of year I throw a wobblehead with a straight tail worm a lot especially on toledo or rayburn it all about doing what no one else is throwing at least for me
I was going to ask please don't do a video on Carolina rig?!!. But to late...🤣. My buddy is fishing this while I'm going down with top water. 🤣 caught them in Mexico and won't put it down along with the arig. 🤣🤣🤣
Smash Tech Bubble Fry (Used to be Kicker Fish) in Chartreuse Pepper. For the life of me I don't know why they will eat it but they do. Back it up with hog type bait if that doesn't work.
I don’t have much faith in the C rig personally, because I’ve never caught anything on it, but when I do throw it, I will use a Cut R Worm or zman baby goat.
Is that Zack on far left at the end of the video, Look like about right height 😂😂 jk jk Zack. Awesome you got boys out there fishing… Only way I fish Carolina rig or drop shot if bass are biting it and not taking 45 mins for one to hit it.
Lake fork tackle Ring Fry is awesome.
Dude the end of the video with your boys was the best part... Just pure awesomeness watching them working together WITH manners... 👍

SENKO in green pumpkin/blue flake. Lizard is my seconf choice.
4" Zoom watermelon lizard in clearer water and a pumpkin seed french fry in stained water are my Carolina rig favorites. Thanks for your valued input.
In middle Tennessee it’s the Zoom baby brush hog in sungill color. Good luck finding that color.
I throw straight tail worms and I also throw the 7" trick worm on the Carolina rig. Good advice 👍
Plum Magnum Speed worm!!
Your still the best out there. Just shhhhh. On Carolina rigs and I agree 100% on a rig.

Try the 6th sense Hogwalla in plum. Skinnier and longer type of brush hog and they smash
I agree with this one. Flat out catches them.
Haven't tried either one yet but I wanna try the ridge worm on a shaky head looks sweet!
Good tips! This is one of those finesse rigs I've not tried yet. If no rain I'll be trying next week! Kids did a good job catching and netting at the end :P
Great video love a C-rig,try you a zoom speed worm with the paddle tail,I wack em on it when it gets warmer
Trying the watermelon red baby brush hog with the front flippers cut off to make it more streamlined, sometimes dip the tips in chartreuse dye.
I like a Netbait T-Mac straight tail worm in Bama Bug or Green Pumpkin for my carolina rigs.
When we playing war zone upshaw
The old Hooky Worm still works great. Haven't thrown it since the 90's. They will eat it up.

Medium Size Zoom Brush Hog
Gonna try it out this week on Toledo Bend
Great view point on less action baits... flukes & ring worms will be tied on next time I go to Ray Roberts.
Yamamoto 6.5 in Kut Tail
Zoom trick worms is my all time favorite for a c rig... Green Pumpkin mostly except on Cherokee and you KNOW what color it is sir!
I like a c rig but this time of year I throw a wobblehead with a straight tail worm a lot especially on toledo or rayburn it all about doing what no one else is throwing at least for me
What rig components do you prefer above the leader?
