Zamora is a woman, and she should have never had communication with her student outside of school. Zamora went on a sexual escapade with her student. Sad that her lawyer is trying to blame the student.
Maybe schools should put cameras in each classroom to avoid these things to happen on school grounds. Many jobs have cameras on their employees. Why not teachers? I know this could and would still Happen outside of school. But in most of these teacher/student inappropriate relationships start in the classroom.
that's a slippery slope because next thing you know there are cameras on everyone and everything and you cannot get out of view of a camera unless you're in your own home. look into the british' surveillance state.
It’s strange, like this is a new phenomenon in society and not just the U.S. The parents and underage child also bear some responsibility that is not limited to the student/teacher or youth/adult relationship. If we were honest with ourselves many of us knew of these types of relationships at some point in our lives. It doesn’t make them right even 1% but they do occur. Technology has made it easier to escalate and detect.
