Very right. There is gross problem in BS6 diesel engine. The indicator of engine malfunctioning flashes frequently. The service personnel do not have clue. The car stops, pick up drops, lot of smoke is emitted. The company engineers at service station say nothing wrong it happens in all tata altroz diesel cars when you drive in city. Drive it on highway at 30 kmph and it will go. They also tell that there is no proper combustion of diesel, carbon particles are not emitted due to lack od xyz in silencer, engine oil also burns with diesel. I had this problem for last 8 to 9 months but such unsatisfactory explanations were given. Ultimately when I wrote to customer care 2 to 3 times the dealer inspected thoroughly and told me that the injectors are clogged due to carbon and need to be changed. It costed me 56k. Still no answer with dealer as to how to prevent it in future. They are totally clueless. There is either some problem in diesel engine or the service is problem. Similar problem is faced by other altroz diesel owners also whom I know personally. Will reputed and illustrious company like Tata look into and help the customers who buy their product with lot of faith and trust?
Bhai diesels do make noise, I have New Ford Figo, ford has one of the best 4 cylinder 1.5L diesel, it also makes noise.... Diesel hai, parr ek bar road pai chalne lag gayi toh awaj nhi ati
I own Tata altroz xz+ s diesel infact dark edition It’s been 4 months nearly and till now I don’t have any issues As I own 4 diesels I.e, Mahindra Bolero Toyota fortuner 2019 ford ecosport 2017 and xuv 500 2016 All these cars produce a lot of sound And brother if u compare this car with Suzuki u will get to know there is sound issue but altroz is one of a kind and is not at all a faulty product I drive this car from Raipur Chhattisgarh to Nashik Maharashtra approximately 940 kms to and fro 3 times a month and I really enjoy it
Its better to buy venue diesel instead of altroz diesel , hyundai offers very smooth engine,price almost same for venue diesel base model around 12.5 on road

@@sahajtyagivlogs I have Altroz diesel, completed 12,599 kms. Cons - Engine Noise but inside nothing. Excellent for highways city driving needs some efforts due to less initial pickup due to it's weight 150 kgs more than swift. which is good

Hello brother, first things first good to hear that you support Indian car brands like Mahindra and Tata and good that you already own 2-3 Tata cars Now this over here is your 2023 Diesel Altroz, which has some issues and I understand anyone can feel frustrated when you pay a premium price but lack few features and refinement, but the thing that I wanted to tell you is I own a 2020 August Altroz Diesel from the very first batch and touch wood my Altroz has no issues what so ever, yes agreed engine noise is bit heavy either they could've provided heavy cabin insulation or did more R&D over engine refinement but other than that I have no complaints at all infact I like the heavy engine noise gives you a feeling of car having a soul Bro even cars like XUV 700 Lux Variant priced at 30 lacs on road does not have auto dimming inside rear view mirror so I guess that can be ignored
Dear I don't think it feels like tractor don't over speak if u don't like then don't drive who told u to judge ... Public will judge and it's number tells ... U manufacture better than this then do it ... Show ur refinement and research

It’s my personal thinking, shayad I’m in minority and majority logo ko ye kahoge ki video pura dekhna to hi dekhte hoge. Cons are mainly cabin noise and engine noise. Also initial pickup is low for that you may check my city drive video for reference
