U2 - "One" Bass Tutorial

Hello bass friends! Here is a bass tutorial on how to play "One" by U2. This bass line is such a great lesson on how to build a bass line around the chord structure. Adam adds transition notes, changes the rhythm just slightly during the chorus and then adds 8th notes at the end of the song to add to the emotional impact.

Such a clear and concise explanation of this bassline. This is exactly how a bassline should be constructed. It really lays the foundation of the music. It doesn't get in the way but it highlights the chords and melodies while it provides melodic notes itself. It's a little work of genius by Adam. Fantastic tutorial, Thom. I really enjoyed it!
