- Anton 🚗 visits his favourite Bakery in the village of Lindley in his home town of Huddersfield!
He is greeted 👋 by Hartleys ladies 👱 Tracey, Jackie and Toni who regular serve him when he pops up to Yorkshire on a break from the 🚍 buses in London!
Established in 1964, Hartleys has some of the finest 👌 bakery products in the North of England!
Anton gets his regular dozen 🍞 bread teacakes (with Zero Preservatives), sausage roll, cornish pastie, steak n onion pie and pork pie!
He loves 😋 his chocolate crunch 🍩 and ginger bread men but passes on the cream 🍰 cakes (watching his weight).
Anton indulges in a warm Cornish Pastie and reminisces about the many times he has been to Hartleys over the decades from a little boy in the 1980's!
Hartleys address : 109 Lidget Street, Lindley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Opening hours :
Mon - Fri 8am-5pm,
Sat - 8am-1pm

Hello Owen, I agree. I feel much more positive about the UK in general because of the videos. On the television we see quite often negative things about daily life in the UK. Places where you don't want to be. The videos show a more friendly and normal Britain. Johan from Holland.

Nice video. One question: by the front left wheel arch there's either two seats on enviros or a luggage bay on volvos. Which do you prefer?
Channel 7 HD ...I prefer the volvo as the driver has more privacy to do his work!
And passengers are further down the bus so as to distract the driver less!
Completely unrelated but do you ever drive the 39 bus route to Clapham junction ? Or the 156 ?
Erin ...no Erin I've never driven them but I see them parked up at terminus where my buses park up!
Just a quick question why don’t you ever show any cab views of the bus (driver eye view) personally i would like to see it

The Bus Channel ...I used to drive past this bakery on the 343,368,370 & 372 when i drove buses in Yorkshire!
In London I have driven around 18 routes in total over the past 6 years!
Anton I was on a bus today packed with people the driver was going 60mph towards a red light and he put the hand break on and the bus bust the tire a question isn't that illegal thanks

New Jacks ...I didn't know buses could do 60mph...they are governed to 55...and in London..they are around 45mph...but 20mph is the new London speed in most boroughs!
Regarding the hand brake, do you mean the footbrake?
A bus would not brake in a straight manner if the handbrake was applied! It would swing round!
It's really very nasty to show and eat all those delicious food in front of the camera when we viewers can't eat anything of it. Please send some cakes by Royal Mail to Holland!
