I just bought a k1600b. Traded in my 2015 roadglide with a stage 4. I am absolutely in love with the bike. bout to take it for its break in service. Absolutely love everything about the bike.
stonewall618 hey bud, my bike is also in the shop for its first service and having the centre stand fitted. I traded my h2 sx se for this bad boy and there has not been a single time (riding those 1000km) that I had any regret. The best bike I have owned. I think you get a lot of bike, that can also do almost everything you would want a bike to do. Safe riding
Hey stonewall, how has your bike treated you over the past couple years? I'm considering buying one but have read that bmws are not known for reliability. Has yours given you any problems?
@@thollingsworth4910 I actually go rid of the bike. It started having a transmission issue after having it for a while. Took it in a couple of times but they could never get it right. Fast forward 2 years there’s a recall and they will replace the entire transmission... would I buy another one. Yes. Would it be my main squeeze... no. I was enamored by the features and speed of the bike. Be being 6’3 I had a hard time getting comfortable on the bike on long rides. Also the fact that exhaust systems for 2500+ for the bike really irritated me. I prefer my bikes to be a little loud. But that was what it was. The bike Over all was fun to ride. It’s a great bike but it had some issues that at the time made it hard to love for a long time.
I own a built 2018 124 Harley Road Glide and a 2020 K1600B Grand America with Bren Tune. There is no comparison between the two when it comes to raw power. Still love the kick you in the chest torque on the Harley down low, but as soon as you get in the mid range and above the BMW is super impressive and the Bren Tune releases the Beast!
The bagger I would pick over any other BMW style unless I was pulling a camp trailer behind me, then I'd choose a BMW GTL to do that. Power and comfort is what I'm after. Being able to cruise at highway speeds and grab 100 mph to get out of a bad situation if I needed to is what I like. Soft and comfortable seating too. That combination is hard to beat.
ib, I rode next to one of those 1600's last Sunday coming back from a LARGE group ride to Frankenmuth, Mi. We took the back roads there from not too far from Ducati Detroit. Some of us took I-75 back and I rode my ZX14R next to a gentleman who was riding one. We probably averaged about 95, sometimes 120+, and that Beamer had no trouble at all. The guy on the BMW was just about your size too.. Regards, Richard...
160hp and it looks fantastic. Something a sport bike rider can be satisfied with.. power to weight ratio with 165lb rider = 5.66lbs per horsepower... 2018 Yamah MT-09 power to weight ratio with a 165lb rider = 5.03lbs per horsepower. So given the fact that the K1600B is heavier that negates the .6lb per horsepower difference at higher speeds due to it being more planted. The verdict: This 'bagger' pulls like an MT09
Thanks for the review. Tired one of these like a couple of months ago, really liked it. I call it the Harley Killer after that... for like 24k you get a high tech bagger what else can you dream about... And I still think it's not 1.4L it's 1.6L :)
Belated comment, sorry. It’s not BMWs 1st bagger, it’s 1.6 liters, it was NOT designed to compete with HD head to head. It is however, a great machine & is wedged into a small cruiser/sport touring niche. I personally don’t think it’ll be a great seller however, I have a 19 & it fits my needs almost perfectly. So much so that I am & have sold my other two HD & Indian ‘baggers’.
650ib its all good man you were there to handle biz it was nice meeting you as well. Saw you rippin the track up on the R1M before I had to split I must say that is one awesome machine! Oh and finally found me a track suit thanks for the Alpinestars suggestion! Peace
Awesome bike. This would be a great touring bike. Sport bike riders don't get it because most don't take extended trips on a bike. And for those of you that do so occasionally, there will come a day when you appreciate the comfortable seating position and yet still have all that gobs of power on hand.
Cool ride man. Them 2 wheeled Beamer Cruisers sure are Slick looking!!! Nice to see you taking 480 to 271 n getting off at Tri-C exit!!! Ill be back in Cleveland Soon prob spring next year! Then we have to hook up n go get me a bike!!!
I would really appreciate a tall guy review of bikes. You need to comment on the ergos for a tall guy. I would even enjoy a video where you went through all of your sportbikes and compared ergos and stated any changes you made to clip ons or adding rear sets.
If there’s one thing that pisses me off about driving in the States it’s the total absence of any lane discipline…. everyone just sits in whatever lane they fancy regardless of what speed they’re doing which forces people to overtake on the inside the outside or wherever! In civilised countries slow vehicles stay in the slow lane and overtaking is only permitted on one side…simpler and much safer!
This is very cool. You should do more videos with unusual bikes. Like a grom or a goldwing. try and throw them around and compare them to sportsbikes it would be interesting.
Yeah like a Yamaha VMAX 1700 and lay the smackdown. It will take down pretty much all other bikes on the highway and drag strip all while sitting upright, even the H2. 650ib would be the perfect man for the job to show the VMAX power on some highway smackdowns!!
Hey Ib, you should review the C-650 series BMWs. Nice cruiser scooters! My wife has one and it is super comfortable for half the cost of a big bagger...
Ib, thanks for the video. This bike will definitely be one to watch for in the future! Also, who is the beautiful young lady in the picture? I thought I would see her in the video!
I think its great youreviewed this bagger but havingnever rode a "big bike" before its tough to listen to your review having NO experience. I have a HD Road King and. ZX14 looking to upgrade the Touring experience type of riding. Keeping the other bikes so looking to add to the stable, thank you for the effort it takes to make these vids, but Folks are always wanting to say , this is no track bike, Its a cruiser and it would be nice to have someone review that that point of view. With my wife on back I'm not about to "Race " around risking her life. Youth buyers should buy a liter bike and try to survive untill they are 60. Review touring bikes for touring..
Ib, could you please leave a track list of music used in the video? would be much appreciated! also love the video the K1600B looks like a bike i could own one day too haha
I also had my doubts about the dash and see that the 1260rt plus other Beemers in the line up are now being fitted with the tablet type TFT dash. Problem I have is that it now looks to "plain" for my taste. I think i still prefer the analog and digital combination. maybe I am too old school, but I think it will age better with current set up.
as you get older you will want a bagger over a super sport for sure i love my honda vfr but i want a gold wing the official caddy of bikes always has been but that is a nice bmw
all that tech and BMW still won't move away from the proprietary phone hook ups and move to bluetooth streaming. I have the same crap system in my Mini. Sad when my 2013 Wrangler handles music streaming better than a BMW.
It's just a matter of time. Comfort and storage . I think you should include some subs for the give away that have supported your channel. Prior to the yt shenanigans .
25K for that model? That's kinda high for even that bike! If you "spec" out this bike @ BMW you'll find that the "premium" option has the center stand and all other items your getting over-charged for!
Kinda cheesy using the female as click bait. I'm here for information on the bike; and the BMW rep in this video was far more valuable than eye candy. He provided more information on this bike than anyone else I have heard from, thus far.

@@thollingsworth4910 also... services on the bike are very expensive
I bought the 1st K1600B in the NY tristate area, and it’s a dream ride. Power, torque and rather flickable for such a big bike....Love it.
If you still have the k1600 how’s the cost of the maintenance. I’m mainly trying to decide between the k1600 and the Goldwing

I think I’d go with the 1600 GT if I had the money. These bikes handle so good. It’s amazing how the weight just disappears once you get going.

Don't judge me but this is my favorite bike
Guilty!
Good looking bike. I already liked their GTL standard version.
interesting, I've never ridden on any cruisers, baggers or Harleys so cool to see this
Thanks for the review. Tired one of these like a couple of months ago, really liked it. I call it the Harley Killer after that... for like 24k you get a high tech bagger what else can you dream about... And I still think it's not 1.4L it's 1.6L :)

Saw one of those when I took my S1K in for its service...that thing is beastly! Even has reverse!
+DaWrathOfGod Nice meeting you man! Sorry I couldn't chat more but I was in class.

That is a nice looking bike, and it fits you very well 👍🏾

lol i just came from the dealership and checked out the 2018 K1600 B , really like it.... nice vid 👍
so much tech on that bagger.. just crazy.
10:51 "Auto Blipper works great". Blipper is a 'must have' for serious sport bikers.
WOw I really love the K1600 B and loved your review!! Wish I could get this Mobike!! Wow!!
I didn't know this bike even existed. Thanks for sharing ib.
Good review. It actually doesnt look too bad
You need to add that to your arsenal, sick!
Thanks ib that was interesting. The sound of the 6 reminds me of the honda cbx 1000

I love all bikes but when it comes to baggers HD is King and all others are Jesters!
I would really appreciate a tall guy review of bikes. You need to comment on the ergos for a tall guy. I would even enjoy a video where you went through all of your sportbikes and compared ergos and stated any changes you made to clip ons or adding rear sets.
Best bike I've ever owned!
Heck yeah!
1:24 Sill"s Motor Sales is the same place where the winner of the Triumph 675 picked up the bike....in the rain. LOL Very cool.
you should totally get this bike 650ib love this channel.. sub'd xD

Crap Ratchet He has a video where he rides a Grom around the even filthier streets of CA.

650ib I got your back good buddy.

Would have been funny if you had hopped off that bagger at the end, and got on the scooter.
Boy! Bob sure has an open mind....
I often say when I come across bikes that are decked out with features “it has everything except reverse!” But this one actually does have reverse 😂
This is my next bike.. for sure!!
This bike has more functions than a car xD
Great vid Ib
please review the Triumph Rocket 3.
I would say That bike will suit u very well.U could tune that bagger and do some smackdowns n use it for commute.
i think if you been roding sportbikes and trying to go up to a harley this would perfect haa tjat sport bike style but in a bagger very cool
Hey Ib, you should review the C-650 series BMWs. Nice cruiser scooters! My wife has one and it is super comfortable for half the cost of a big bagger...
We all know we clicked this video because of that baddie on the bike👌🏾😂.
Too bad there's no baddie😂💀
10 Tunnels he baited us with that thumb nail. I waited the whole video🙁 wish I would have saw this comment sooner.
The very definition of “click bait” 😂🤦🏾♂️
one piece of meat is the same as all the other pieces of meat
I love the way these bikes look and I'm considering buying one. I hear that they are not that reliable though.
It's a reliable bike 💯
I was just in Cleveland from Columbus. Just watch the video and I'm bummed out I could have had stopped and get a free shirt 😂
Ib, thanks for the video. This bike will definitely be one to watch for in the future! Also, who is the beautiful young lady in the picture? I thought I would see her in the video!
you need to do another garage tour it seems like every time you make one you get a new bike
For the money I would take a Yamaha FJR any day
This is basically a car... I like it.
would love to see what 650ib could really do with this beast
That's a bad bike ib nice review brotha
Nice bike 650ib!
I would like to see more modifications to the h2 like supercharger gears and intercooler.
I thought at first with 650ib on a BMW he was ma-touring but hell no he will be back to Beat-downs soon enough.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sort of off topic, but that new Goldwing is nice. Maybe there is hope in old age, Lol.
Hey 650, have you ever thought about going next door to do reviews on some of those neat looking lawn mowers ???
+Spiro Lol.... Never considered it until now.
Nice bike, but a little too much go and weight for me.I think the 1250 RT is a good compromise.
That price actually really cheap compared to the prince in my Country, in Indonesia that bike Cost 85K dollars
Ib, could you please leave a track list of music used in the video? would be much appreciated! also love the video the K1600B looks like a bike i could own one day too haha
13:02 That bike is fast!!! You can smack down with it ib. LOL
now thats a bike that you can do some serious mileage on I bet a 1000 mile day would be a breeze on that bike.
1:13 Notice what was parked out back? Yep, a Harley! 😂
I wish this BMW had more fairing & wind protection
Excellent Video. thanks for sharing. You mind me asking what your video/audio setup is for vlogging. Thanks
+Wingnut Matrix1 I use a Sena 20s with Bluetooth backpack for the GoPro Hero 4.
That thing is badass
Way different to see you on that kinda bike. Always trust your honest reviews
+CodyDoesIt Thank you!!!
Get rid of those pipes and replace with Remus quad exhaust in black and then BMW please add a TFT screen.
I also had my doubts about the dash and see that the 1260rt plus other Beemers in the line up are now being fitted with the tablet type TFT dash. Ib, with that couch you could say "got em" to some cars only lol
+JRDNGIXX HAHAHAHAHAH
11:49 that corolla had some no spinners lol
Its a 1.6 6 cylinder inline engine with dry-sump
That's amazing IB
Nice bike, I’m curious how my 6’4” body would fit on that beast.
I'm the same height, it's the most comfortable bike out there for taller riders.
Very informative!
Seems like the perfect motorcycle- if your goal is to pull a trailer!
These are great riding, cruising type bikes. Typical BMW ride. Quality galore with high performance.
all that tech and BMW still won't move away from the proprietary phone hook ups and move to bluetooth streaming. I have the same crap system in my Mini. Sad when my 2013 Wrangler handles music streaming better than a BMW.
You can stream to the 1600. That's been available since at least 13'.
A tribe called quest.... nice!
GOT'EM with that thumbnail :)
I WANT ONE!
It's just a matter of time. Comfort and storage . I think you should include some subs for the give away that have supported your channel. Prior to the yt shenanigans .
"My good buddie Eminem" oh okay 🤔
Not my kind of bike, but I'll bet that inline 6 is silky smooth
...did he just say "my good buddy eminem"
25K for that model? That's kinda high for even that bike! If you "spec" out this bike @ BMW you'll find that the "premium" option has the center stand and all other items your getting over-charged for!

Where are the upgraded assumed preferred Europe- market bars?
Nice job
Beautiful machine, but scary huge! The cops handle them like they're feather light.
That's a beautiful bagger, I think if I won the S1000RR I might have to trade for a bagger I'm probably going to hell for even saying that..lol
no more luxury minivans!
10:26 It looks like the wheel plate is not moving on the car he's passing on the right.
you should have gotten on the moped!
looka like a boat, but apparently, it goes pretty good.
I Love k1600 GT.❤️👍
What does B stand of again?
Nika Megrelidze Bugger
Nika Megrelidze paper bagger
Keep the girl give me the bike. You can ride it a long way with no drama!
Much much better and cheaper than an insanely overpriced Harley.
If anything test ride a BMW k1600 gtl those are weapons
Kosta Kalantzis yeye my dad has the GT, and he's faster on it than I am on my zx6r.
Kosta Kalantzis same bike
K 1600 is slow to
