    This is spot on as usual! ❤️🙏🏻✨ I have finally realized the stark contrast of feeling my heart chakra so wide open when I am living in my authenticity, versus being tightly closed when I am triggered and acting out old patterns to keep myself safe. I can literally feel the energy shift in my body. Anytime I am not in my truth, I have an impending sense of shame and anxiety for days following. Thanks to you, I am finally able to see the connection of what is truly going on in these moments. You are such a blessing, Candace 🙏🏻 thank you for being the light that you are, and helping others remember their own light ✨💫

    Thank you so much. This resonates on so many levels. I recently made this discovery, I did choose to be with partners who were emotional unavailable. Thank you for your insight.

In the meantime I am learning to give myself more and more Tender loving care. Your video on self-abandonment really hit home too. Thank you for what you do🙏🏻💝

    As an adult man, my invisibility started to dissipate... by doing things I was really good at (that could be shared with women, too). I started having a following of emotionally intimate female friends.
    (in my case, it was taking people snorkeling, kayaking, then even diving... in the ocean. I was able to share nature with these ladies, making them feel special and safe, while having the time of their lives.)
    -These friendships made it quite obvious, that what I was previously settling for in my dating world... was totally inadequate and unfulfilling.
    So, if you still feel Invisible... if you follow your Passions, you too can find out what fulfilling relationships feel like.
    -Just by attracting friends who find you very interesting... suddenly, you are no longer invisible.
    Then, take that newly found confidence into Dating. -Cheers and good luck!

    Invisible child vs golden child is kept in dark . I am almost 68 and only 2 years ago found out about father I didn't know. That is an example .

    I was an invisible child. I don't believe it's genetic emotions. I was a scapegoat and my sister was heard, lived, cared about, I never existed.

    I agree & this is helpful but what about when the fear of - or actual - abandonment & rejection triggers huge levels of trauma energy/fight or flight etc. This then takes over from anything empowering the authentic response might’ve allowed. Feels such a painful minefield. 😟

  • @bryanw9840

    I made my feelings known. I risked rejection. The result? I WAS rejected. Tossed aside like a used tissue. I'm now so far down I have to look up to see the floor. Yeah, not gonna risk that ever again. The pain isn't worth it.

    • @art_by_njb
      @art_by_njb 5 років тому +9

      Bryan W - I don’t know what you went through, but it sounds like it was really hard on you. I know it hurts to channel so much effort into making yourself seen, only to be tossed aside. When we make ourselves vulnerable and put our effort into something we really care about, it hurts when that effort goes unvalidated. Unfortunately, you risk that possibility of rejection every time you put yourself out there. You can’t control what other people think. But if you spend your life hiding to avoid rejection, the negative beliefs you internalize about yourself as a consequence *will* hurt more in the long run. When you hide, you tell yourself that others’ opinions of you as a person are more important than your own. But no one can make you feel that way without your permission, and it’s your own acceptance of yourself that’s most important. That’s all you really can control, right? When you expose yourself to the possibility of rejection, you’re telling yourself that you will be there for yourself regardless of the outcome. Easier said than done, of course, so take however much time you need to heal and be compassionate toward yourself. And then get back up, dust yourself off, and try again. Regardless of what happens next time, you can take pride in the fact that you put in the effort that you know you’re worth. If you gave it your best shot and other people choose not to see that, that’s on them.

    Maybe keep your hands down on your lap. You keep touching the left side of your nose and playing with your hair many times throughout the video . It is very distracting
