Just gotta say that it was truly an honor to arrange this for these amazing musicians...a dream come true!! Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and we're all rooting for you, Ryan and Cancer Blows!!
@@kitmakin289 no, i just preferred the saxophone than the trumpet because i just didn't like the loud, headache causing instrument (i love the instrument though) plus we stand up for every song and bearly sat down for 3 minuets sometimes not at all 🙂

I tried to educate myself more on Cancer Blows. Very good noble thing to do, but...I did not realize Ryan Anthony actually has a very deadly form of cancer. I just thought he was being a good guy and trying to help. He is of course, but under the heavy weight of this cancer. Ryan doesn't know me and I don't know him, but I tend to fight for the underdog in just about any situation. I am also in Alex Trebek's corner too. He has stage 4 pancreatic....doesn't get too much worse than that except for possibly what Ryan is enduring! Alex of course is the long time popular host of Jeopardy game show. We all have to buy the farm some day. Nobody gets a pass. We just want fairness. Take our trip to the pearly gates when we truly have lived a full, long, and fulfilled life and that means in today's years around 90-100 years old. I have a few solos I will be recording. One right before Christmas 2019 and then a few next year with one being my biggie of the year...a professional type of music video. I will highly consider one of these solos as a tribute and in honor of Ryan. I consider myself one of the best player's today (Hey, I'm a trumpet player. If I was more humble I would play viola, ok?😁 ), but RYAN is a prodigy. According to what I found out, he was playing much better in high school than I was in college. He is a natural talent whereas my talent is from perspiration lol. Because his true niche seems to be in the classical realm although he can play many, many different styles, it may be that my Vivaldi Ab Piccolo Concerto might be the perfect piece. Absolutely fabulous arrangement and playing; thanks so much. This is just what I (as a music educator and brass player) and my friends needed this month! I lost my daughter to cancer three years ago. Cancer does blow! Thanks for what you are doing. Much love and peace your way.
How in the world can you vote dislike on this????? This is so cool, so many inspired drops to listen for throughout the entire piece. I give it infinite thumbs up cause I just put it on repeat to listen to it all day.
Of course, the trumpets were fantastic. But the rest of the band was also just great, all of them. And what about that great trombone section with Tony Baker on lead? Just perfect!!! Thanks to all involved!!!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fantastic, beautiful, swinging arrangement! Wanna just keep playing it over and over. The talent was awesome, but mixing all the recordings into a seamless big band powerhouse....priceless. Great job, everyone involved. Merry Christmas and thank you! Two thumbs up and both hands on this review.

Trying to teach my boys jazz and blues. Great song for them to listen too. Thank you. They can both play alto tenor baritone sax. Only been playing a year and a half.
It made me smile, ogle with incredulous joy, swell with that omg how beautiful is that, and then tear up! I’d say that they produced a pretty good song, huh?
Wow!!! This is an amazing production from start to finish... Fantastic arrangement and outstanding performances! Hats off to the editing and mixing engineer, you really glued the Ensemble together!
FANTASTIC! Well done everyone. What bitter sweet memories! Only one year later: missing Ryan Anthony and feeling for his families and loved ones for their first CHRISTmas without him visible, missing seasonal concerts by the fantastic San Diego Concert Band conducted by Roy (dad) Anthony, missing being a stringer oboe/English horn in everything from Handel's Messiah to hokey knock-off Rockefeller Center Christmas shows, missing hugs and face-to-face maskless gatherings. BUT, great encouragement and fond memories: remembering "the Reason for the Season," knowing we will meet Ryan again in Heaven, refreshing my memories about Leroy Anderson (Sleigh Bells, Typewriter, etc.), Stan Kenton Live at Redlands (1969 or 1970), and realizing the planet is one year closer to cancer cures with fantastic scientific research, great minds refining treatment protocols, etc. SO, let's buy the swag, download the tunes and recall the passion, talent and vision of Ryan Anthony.
