Hahaha I know they're getting hard to find these days! I've already almost rolled the Jeep off road, the last thing I need is a couple hundred additional pounds up top! Thanks for watching.
@@nate_dodge Thanks for the reply. I saw that they were pelican cases in the video, what I was hoping to find out was what model are they? I think they would work for me in my Jeep but I need the dimensions to be sure.
Very much interested in a build breakdown! This setup and adventure is exactly what I want to do. Nate is this you in the video? Would love to follow this Jeepster!
Love this man. Missing the outdoors. Missing Colorado. What roof rack is that? Curious what year and mileage your jeep is and how it handles these adventures. Thanks
Thanks so much for watching the video and commenting! It's a 2013 with about 75k miles on it. I've definitely run into a handful of random electrical issues in the last year causing no-starts but everything is running well now and it handles the mountains like a beast. Can literally point it at anything and it will crawl right up. The rack is from Gobi Racks and it's the best rack on the market for Jeep Wranglers in my opinion.
Incredible videography! I also have a 2dr JK which I’ll be full time traveling in come March so would love to see & hear more about your setup. Is that a Gobi roof rack? OllllllO
Awesome!! Love the 2-doors! The table is made by Outback Adventure Products and is called the "Trailgater." It's arguably my favorite mod on the whole rig.
@@nate_dodge Need to see more and more jeep camping long videos like this. Caz others are too short!!! I am following your Insta also, its too good....
Moment I saw the first footage I subbed right away, amazing footage man. You’ll get to the top very soon with that much of a quality. May I ask though what wheels your Wrangler uses, 17” or 35”? Thinking of getting a 2 door myself...
Really appreciate that! I'll have to start putting out a lot more of these videos this summer! And yep they are 17" Method wheels with 35" Toyo tires. I have a 2.5" lift to accommodate the bigger tires.
Great video! I’m new to this camping, keeping, off roading world. How do you find spots like this where you can legally pull off the road and set up camp and fish and whatnot?
I use an app called Gaia GPS to understand if it's public land, forest service land, etc which helps me know where you can camp legally. But a lot of it comes down to just driving by a cool looking dirt road and exploring it. Happy adventures!
Thanks for the comment Stephan! I've tried a rooftop tent but I always go back to my 1lb ground tent. It's just so much easier and lighter compared to a 150-200lb rooftop tent. I think if I had a 4-door Jeep it might be different, but it just doesn't make a lot of sense on the 2-door.
Don't worry, we eat trout all year long in the backcountry but usually eat the Brown or Brook Trout. I try to leave the native Greenback Cutthroat alone.
Fantastic! Cook sausage, reduce heat, add garlic. Love this!!!
Dude I love this. Great footage and well captured scenery. Can't wait to try this out myself. Deserves way more views.
Really appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
I agree….simple video. You let nature be the star! Love it!……plus I just bought a JL 2 door!…what rack is that?
I love this. I have a 2 door JK. This is so inspiring.
Thanks for watching! Two doors are the best!
Great footage. Always like the look of the 2 Door JK. Beautiful scenery.
Thank you! Love the 2-doors! The 4 doors are probably a little more functional for camping, but I love the short wheel base off-road!
Love the menu items, the video is awesome
Thank you, they were pretty tasty! Next time I'll cook up some fish that I catch.
Wow, is that one of those new overlanding roof top tents that can work just by being put on the bare earth! We live in wonderful times
Hahaha I know they're getting hard to find these days! I've already almost rolled the Jeep off road, the last thing I need is a couple hundred additional pounds up top! Thanks for watching.
Brilliant loved that! 2dr JK, camping and a bit of fly fishing all the best thangs with some awesome footage and scenery!
Thanks for checking it out! More to come this summer!
Great video man! Looking forward to see more jeep camping videos from you
Thanks a lot! I'll have to keep them coming!

Excellent video!! I was fascinated, very good shots, I hope to see more like this on your channel
Thanks a lot for watching! Going to try to do a few more of these if I have time.
Great video, I just keep coming back to watch it over and over. I have a 2019 2 door Jeep JL and was wondering what model of Pelican cases those are?
Really really appreciate that! Going to try to make a few more similar style videos this year! Those are the Pelican Cargo cases.
@@nate_dodge Thanks for the reply. I saw that they were pelican cases in the video, what I was hoping to find out was what model are they? I think they would work for me in my Jeep but I need the dimensions to be sure.
@@seamac7966 Pretty sure they are the BX90R
@@nate_dodge thank you very much Nate. Please keep up the camping videos.
And this is why I love Colorado. Nicely done Nate.
Likewise! Thanks Seth, means a lot!
Great video, keep it up.
Can we get a build break down? Love the rig!
I'll try to do a full walk around video at some point if there's enough interest! Appreciate the comment!
Very much interested in a build breakdown! This setup and adventure is exactly what I want to do. Nate is this you in the video? Would love to follow this Jeepster!
Nicely done! Subscribed, hoping you create more gems like this.

Bro you are the man this video is amazing
Heck yeah thanks for checking it out!
Great vid and nice rig 🤙
Appreciate that!!
always great to see the nature in the U.S. making me wanna go back to the U.S.
I need to move to a part of the country that looks like this. The only scenic parts of Ohio are flooded with tourists
There's beauty in the process. Plus, now I know how to properly fold my Chemex filter- thanks! Ha!
Hahaha glad you learned something! Appreciate you stopping by!

Beautiful lake, nice fish, great vid. Cheers from B.C. Canada.P.S. what type of trout were you catching there?

This video is sick bro - I have a Tacoma but it makes me want a Jeep haha
Thanks dude! Both are perfect adventure vehicles. Just use what you got and get out there!

nice video
Fantastic video very tastefully done. New subscription earned
Thanks for checking it out and subscribing! Appreciate the support!
Nice bug out jeep that's the kind of car I want
What kind of roof rack is that? Great video.
It's a Gobi rack. There's not a better Jeep rack on the market!
this was really cool
Appreciate you taking the time to watch it!!
Great video 👍🏼. I was wondering how did you make the platform for the Jackery to sit on?
Thank you! It's actually part of a rear storage system made by Diabolical Inc. Those side shelves are incredible handy!
Superb video.... Lots of love from India,
Looking forward to see more jeep camping videos from you...pls tell which instruments are you using...
Thank you for watching, glad you liked it! Are you asking what camera I used to film it?
@@nate_dodge Yes. What type of camera, or gadgets....
@@soumyadeep100 I filmed this with the Sony A7III on a cheap tripod.

@@nickorourke8479 Thanks Nick! The fenders and bumpers are from ACE Engineering.
Wow, wonderful.....
Which country ?
It's in Colorado in the United States. Thanks for watching!

Hope moreeeee.........🥰🥰🥰
Subbed.
Awesome
Thanks!
What fridge are you using? And the storage in the rear
The fridge is the Dometic CFX35 and for storage I'm just using some old crates I found. The Pelican Cargo cases on the roof add a lot of storage too.

Okay but what type of barbarian flips the jelly side?! 🤣
This comment is freaking hilarious! Never even thought about it, just spread and flip!
Great video! Are you still using a regular tent or did you convert to a rooftop tent? Trying to decide if I should go rooftop for my Jeep or not.
Love seeing 2 door builds as I'm building a TJ. Great video! What camera do you use?
Hell yeah thanks for watching! Shot this video on the Sony A7III and DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Good luck with your TJ build!
Awesome video man. For audio, do you a lav mic or just an on camera mic?
Thank you man! For this one I just used an on camera mic and it worked great. It was the Rode Videomic Pro.
What table is that and when the rig is empty does it rattle on ur tailgate
It's the "Trailgater" from Outback Adventure Products. Doesn't rattle at all.
Where is your portable stove from?
It's from Eureka! They're awesome.
Wouldn't happen to give up the coordinates for us Coloradoan's lol?
What’s the table on the rear door?
It's the Trailgater from Outback Adventure Products. Honestly the best mod on the entire vehicle if you camp a lot!
How can you, simply, not, grill, up, those, delicious, trout, with, lemon, and garlic?? I just...
Don't worry, we eat trout all year long in the backcountry but usually eat the Brown or Brook Trout. I try to leave the native Greenback Cutthroat alone.
