It's an amazing song, very emotional and 100% feel your reaction. Their art is very easy to connect too for those of us who wear our hearts on our sleeves!
(I know I'm a year late to this video, bear with me here)
I feel the reason that this band has made everyone so emotionally attached to Vessel and the messages behind Vessel's tokens is because as human beings we can subconsciously hear/feel someones pain through their voice when they sing even when we don't believe in it, it's the same senses that make us ask a friend if they're doing okay when they have a different tone of voice, odd behavior, or if they straight up admit to being broken/depressed, our body naturally wants to comfort, and wants to listen to that friend.
Vessel... our boy... has been through so much. You can hear it, you can FEEL it, and that magic is what intrigues us so much and makes us invest into this band as a whole, it's the raw emotion mixed with the empathy engraved into all of us.
I haven't been able to let go of this band for almost 3 years, it's all my ears want to listen to, as well as it's all that my body wants to feel, as strange as that might sound.
Bless your heart Metal Kitty for making such a genuine reaction to such an underrated masterpiece. I hope your love for this band has continued growing since the date of this reaction video release.

I just discovered this song tonight and my head is hurting from the tears. I am currently writing a story and Sleep Token is pretty much sound-tracking it lol.

I absolutely LOVE your reaction to this song! It's such a beautiful masterpiece and seeing you really breakdown to what this song truly represents was nothing short of beautiful.
The outward self just wants you to love me, on the inside though I really just wish I could love me. Personally I think this song and video need each other for the entire message. Amazing reaction, thank you for this video. I wasn't sure about this song at first, but suddenly it clicked and made sense. I related very strongly to that aimless staggering to nowhere in particular. The reflection of my own life was not something I wanted to acknowledge. Suddenly this masked man showed far greater understanding of my personal demons than I'd ever want to admit in public.

I've recently found Sleep Token and have been just like this - binging everything and consuming all of it. Their music is so incredible. Their message. Performance. Purpose... it's all there. It's wonderful to experience it all together.

to be completely open, I've recently been going through the most intense hell with my mental health and, a couple of days ago, the police intervened with my suicide attempt.
when I heard this song and I saw the words on screen, all I did was cry. hearing this song, seeing the messages on screen, they are so fucking painful for me. but there's a part of me that really needed this song.

Hey! I've seen you around in the group on Facebook, didn't realize you had a channel!
your reaction was real and i have to applaud that. i watched this and the messages and thought about vessel and the messages. In a way vessel and his mask reflects and both mirrors us. we see us in him and visa versa. through his pain expressed in song and lyric, may remind us of ours. in this strange interwoven symbiosis we can accept our own pain through his and we use the music as a tool for healing. to think, without a face to put to the music you are left with this mask. and with that nothing to project to but your own face, your own insecurities or failings. your own self. genius in a way if that was a higher intention.

Just found this reaction and wanted to say that very few read the undertone lyrics and just listen to the song itself, imo you really need the undertoned lyrics to "get" this song which is why I think so many just don't get it. It is obvious how it affected you and I appreciate that. If you ever read this I love you reaction to this song. Side note: I think this song appeals most to persons who are or have been broken in relationships or even before that....but if they don't react with the underlying lyrics, how would they know?
