I think that vessel is divine. I think that vessel’s music and the way he sings it out like poetry is just magnificent. It’s something I’ve never heard before. You know the way sunsets never look quite as good in pictures? And retelling the joke never does justice to the way your stomach ached with laughter the first time it was told? You know the way the moon always looks smaller through a lens? And words can never really describe the view from the top of the mountain which stole your breath? I want Vessel to remember that you only see yourself in snapshots. And if the sunset cannot be contained in a photo, neither can he. I want vessel to remember that the words someone speaks of him can never do justice to the radiance of his smile or the sound of laughter rolling from his chest. I want vessel to remember that his vastness renders cameras useless and the sight of him would make even mountains lose their breath. Because photos and stories and the small glimpses he may catch of himself in the mirror do nothing to surmount the task of capturing the universe surging within him. Vessel is not just an instant, Vessel is an eternity. The gap between now and forever. A color changing sky. I’d capture Vessel in a poem but it’s not worth the try.

not me crying bc of this & bc i missed my second chance of being able to see them on tour :((( i discovered them back in september 2023 when they had just finished touring & they were all i listened to for two months straight. when i saw that they were touring again this year, i was so excited but i wasn’t able to get tickets & just hearing this message & understanding the way the songs make me feel….i cannot wait for the day that i get to see them in concert & truly experience these emotions live 🥺

The vulnerability he showed in this was incredible. It made me tear up but at the same time it was healing in a way. I hope that Vessel, the man behind the mask whoever he is, can see, one day if not now, that his gift to us, the music and letting us into this waiting room of his mind, is extraordinary powerful and a saving grace. To think that he feels about us like we do about him, about ST as a band, is low key mind blowing.

This might be the reason they are anonymous, to keep our attention on the music instead of those who perform it. In this new "gratification" age we live in Vessel just reminded the world that music is more important than the artist. So if there are no artists then it would be up to us to harmonize to ourselves (even if its a horrible sound) then still we could be moved and touched by our own voice!! Thanks for this reminder and this man is more humble than he is willing to share. What a marvelous human!!
