YEP, I'll never forget the Long Island Railroad killer. Colin Ferguson defended himself. I was at work when my co-workers came into work traumatized from the shooting. On December 7, 1993, a mass shooting occurred aboard a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train in Garden City Park, New York, United States. As the train arrived at the Merillon Avenue station, passenger Colin Ferguson began firing at other passengers with a semi-automatic pistol. Six of the victims were killed and nineteen others were wounded before Ferguson was tackled and held down by other passengers on the train.
Alcala was one of many active SKs in California during that period. Hillside Strangler, Bittaker and Norris, Sunset Strip...there were a bunch at the same time.
Serial killing is the bottom that a human being can reach if they reject all kinds of light, humanity, sanity, reason, responsibility, whatever, it's a scary place, a true hell. And one without a return.
There was a study done about identifying rapist. The study concluded that most women can not identify rapist, the cues that women look for to signal danger are not effective at all.

As a women, one the reasons I love watching serial killer, crime shows & profile shows. I want to be aware of the people around me and who I know or met. I want to learn behavioral traits and characteristics so I can stay the fk away from them. Also in my car I listen to HLN on SiriusXM with my young girls. I explain to them their are a lot of good people in this world but their are of bad people too. When Very Scary Prople document certain cases about young girls or young women. I explain to them that bad stuff does happen to kids or young women, shit even old like me. However Its my responsibility to teach my girls who are innocent, kind, loving & helpful that human behaviors throughout history is savage. We can still be kind to people but pay attention and never put yourself in an unsafe situation where your alone, don't drink or do drugs, watch your drink to make sure no one can put nothing in it, ect.
A murderer from Indiana named Joseph Nowicki was serving time for murder and got a heart transplant in prison. He used it to get out and kill a young girl and another guy was last seen with Nowicki. They couldn't pin the new murders on him, but got him on gun charges and he died in prison
People are born psychopaths, but most psychopaths are not serial killers. They may do bad things and disregard how others may be impacted, but they are useful part of society when they are productive. Like there are a lot of jobs that psychopaths excel at. The most interesting one is being a Chef. Other ones make more sense like bomb squad in police or military. All psychopaths are born that way, but they become serial killers through trauma when they are young.
@@willthinkofsomethinglaterVery likely indeed. People would be surprised how many psychopaths reach the upper echelons in society. Politics is definitely another one where you can find a ton imo.
Serial killers are the hardest to catch because they pick random victims. Unless you have video or DNA that is already in the system, you have a long road ahead of you. There’s anywhere from 200 to 250 active unidentified serial killers at any given moment. We covered this in my Behavioral Science class at Quantico in 2000.
@@Jdjfhahebeha2838 Well I retired in March and there’s still roughly the same number of unidentified serial killers out there in the United States. Most police departments don’t have forensic evidence recovery experts. Law enforcement has been absolutely slashed by liberal officials and the results are devastating. Rookie officers walking all over crime scenes and a lack of staff has had an impact. I did 37 years in city and state law enforcement. Civilians are facing serious problems if it continues.

GSK, Kemper, Bittaker, Mack Ray Edwards, Randy Kraft, Leonard Lake, Zodiac. California in the 60s-80s was wild for serial killers.
Richard ramirez the night stalker
It was foot forward for weirdness and it was easy for aberrence to hide out.
@@GovernorRiffRaff They just identified another one of Randy Kraft's victims.
Maybe they really liked the weather?
Netflix should do an updated documentary about this guy. That'd be fire 🔥
Serial killing is the bottom that a human being can reach if they reject all kinds of light, humanity, sanity, reason, responsibility, whatever, it's a scary place, a true hell. And one without a return.
There was a study done about identifying rapist. The study concluded that most women can not identify rapist, the cues that women look for to signal danger are not effective at all.
that;s what's so fucking scary about serial killers like Alcala and Bundy etc.Not all monsters have horns and growl.
They have charisma, a nice smile, and can woo you into a false sense of security.
I managed some homes that were geared towards housing men with mental illness and the toughest to deal with was the ones with traumatic brain injuries. You never know when they would have a violent outburst. I really enjoyed helping these guys out but it was scary as hell sometimes.
daaaang, thanks for your work
His iq was 170 supposedly and I don’t think he had a traumatic brain injury however I’m all for mental illness and trauma but I just don’t think this guy is similar to the people with autism’s and crazy brain illness that ur talking about
Been waiting for this one for years
Daaamn, about time DC goes on Rogan lol
Been missing these new good topics
If dc says you look scary you’re a villain
1:18 DC is such a vibe man😭😭
80% are drug commercials
Stop doing drugz friend
Never cared a 💩 for them...
I mute them or change to another channel for a while...
I got rid of cable a long time ago, mostly because of the cost but a lot of it had to do with those goddamn commercials.
bro i was JUST on a daniel cormier funny moments binge 😂 man DC is such a light hearted beast of a man, dude is the complete opposite of jon jones.
There's actually a film that's coming out soon about The Dating Game Killer called "Woman of the Hour". Directed by Anna Kendrick.
And I think that screenplay was honored on the annual blacklist!
Can't fast forward through these YT ads. Some things never change.
We watch serial killer shows for a few reasons. The psychology of it. Pointing to red flags and finally, to know what to do and what not to do, so we can avoid becoming a victim!! 👍🏻
Comment of the year- "I like watching the commercials. And commercials work on me too."
Never thought I'd see joe and dc have this conversation 😂
Want to know what’s scarier? Odds are, someone who clicked on this video is a serial killer.
When DC said that commercials work on him with a big smile, I died.
Pregnant lady wasn’t in Montana. She was identified 20 miles from my home town Green River Wyoming. He killed her when he was going from New York back to California
There was a guy in the uk that went on a game show whilst he was a murderer the show was bullseye
Yep. John Cooper in Wales.
I love commercials on TV, when you watch something like that. They give you time to think and proces what you just watched. But on the other hand, there are stations with comercials so long, that you forget what you started watching in the first place. And in my country, that happened so many times, that you wouldn't believe
They dont make serial killers like they used to
A legend among Killers
Bryan Kohburger would like a word with y(I know I butchered his name)
Yea now they coming out like king Von
DC is one of the most likable guys! Great interview!!!
It's really weird how women apparently have such a high emotional intelligence and intuition and are super observant....yet they always fall for the psychopaths and narcissists.🤔😒
I think a lot of it is from us not listening to that intuition. Everyone should read 'The Gift of Fear'.
...Well, why don't you, @@ashm.5899?
6:21 “yooo he’s missing a chunk of his head” such a funny sentence to hear
Serial killers definitely still exist.Gilgo Beach serial killer was on the loose for like 10 years. He just got caught this year.
For all that don’t know, there are entire mornings of Saturday morning cartoons on UA-cam, the commercials are the best part!

This is why JRE is the GOAT podcast. Where else are you gonna get DC talking about a serial killer show he watched.
Joe never disappoints us🎉
I hate having what I'm watching interrupted by a stupid commercial.
These ads are insane.
Just the fact that DC really tought there are no erial killers today... just shows in what a bubble he is
can we take a moment to appreciate how pure and almost naive DC is, one of the most dangerous men in the octagon ever, is also like a sitcom character, he's the Kevin James of the UFC
I was a CSI for Phoenix. I've worked on about half a dozen serial killer cases.
Thats just me doing my 40. I ended up quitting.
Tell me about the West Mesa Boneyard
tell us a couple of stories fam dont leave us hangin
What's the strangest of those cases & why?
You should start a podcast it'll help u vent as well. Also.... How many serial killers do you guys have in Phoenix alone 💀
DC is just one of best personalities in the game.
Banana killer has a whole new meaning around here

@@mclovinfuddpucker I accept your point right there!
you never know so its a waste of time
A murderer from Indiana named Joseph Nowicki was serving time for murder and got a heart transplant in prison.
For the most part obviously. There are always outliers and exceptions to the rule.
I’d say it’s very likely that Jon jones is a psychopath or a sociopath
@@willthinkofsomethinglater I can see it.
@@willthinkofsomethinglaterVery likely indeed. People would be surprised how many psychopaths reach the upper echelons in society. Politics is definitely another one where you can find a ton imo.

Never thought I'll see this day.
RIP Jamie Legendary google ability.
DC is literally the man #favoritefighter #faceofmma
Serial killers are the hardest to catch because they pick random victims. Unless you have video or DNA that is already in the system, you have a long road ahead of you. There’s anywhere from 200 to 250 active unidentified serial killers at any given moment. We covered this in my Behavioral Science class at Quantico in 2000.
what do you do for a living?
@@kyleusa1213Probably a psychologist or psychiatrist.
200-250 in what? The US? North America? The world?
No they can find them easy now.
Look how they identified the Idaho killer using DNA from the scene
@@Jdjfhahebeha2838 Well I retired in March and there’s still roughly the same number of unidentified serial killers out there in the United States. Most police departments don’t have forensic evidence recovery experts. Law enforcement has been absolutely slashed by liberal officials and the results are devastating. Rookie officers walking all over crime scenes and a lack of staff has had an impact. I did 37 years in city and state law enforcement. Civilians are facing serious problems if it continues.
If anyone is wondering they have made a movie about him it’s called woman of the hour it’s on Netflix
Yea, I was wondering why this popped into my feed today and that’s exactly it! UA-cam’s recommendation algorithm is kind of scary sometimes…
