I grew up living about 100 feet from that line ,on lake Superior ,This is amazing ,brought back a lot of memories ,I remember the trains going by at night hearing the horn and shaking the whole house , BUT I luvd it.Excellent modelling work .
Incredible. Three moments stood out (all of it looks brilliant mind you..) 1. The train emerging from the tunnel in the haze. 2. The reflection of the water. 3. The railroad crossing details.
The landscaping is so well done that when you record all weathered cars and locos it looks stunningly real. Hopefully you will get a chance to weather the rest of the cars some day.
Ben great video of an awesome layout. At first I thought that I was watching a railfanning video of the real thing. The scenery is very realistic. Still working away at my layout plans.... started all over from scratch after some helpful ideas from Bill "the track planner" and others.
This must give you plenty of inspiration for what you're planning to do on yours. Sadly mine is a free standing 'round and round' as I haven't a basement or room to do what you're doing........yet! Your friend has done a great job - I love the disused spur and boggy bit.
Ok, I’m a bit cunfuzzled here. I love the Northern Ontario theme, especially since I’m from NE Ontario (Sudbury primarily but have lived in New Liskeard, North Bay, Timmins, Smooth Rock Falls....). I thought your forest scenic were bang on - thick with various types of trees with lots of gravel deposits all over the place. However - Do you have two layouts? One running primarily CN and the new one that runs CP? Sorry, I’ve just come across your videos in the past week (been off due to a broken ankle). My first videos were of the CP layout. The others using CN seemed to be earlier in time 2015+/-. I was figuring that it was a layout at an previous home - But this one is this month. Just asking - I have enjoyed the look of the CN layout and if that’s yours then the CP one will be great!
Amazing.... just awesome, looks pretty Ontario to me, The birds at the start I wanna say they where edited but are they, or does Justin have a Speaker system installed Great Vid Ryan
The scenary on this layout is phenomenal! I especially like the way the unused spur disappears into the grass, the one that goes off the switch for the siding with the GP9r, as it is highly prototypical. Just check out google earth if you don't believe me. Also very happy to see the old school zebra stripe CN scheme as it is just so unique. This layout is on a whole new level of realism. Hey that van is lit inside too! So cool.
Even more embarrassed now. I didnt see the notation saying "this isn't my layout". I've missed that on all those videos then. So is it a friends or neighbour's layout?
@@BArailsystem - well I'm impressed with both. So he's modeled the area in between Longlac and Hornpayne. Cool! That's quite north and west than I've been. Really, the forested area past the tunnel looks very natural. So many people set up forests and bushes like they are on a MNR plantation. His wooded scenes look just like the forest and bush behind our camp on the West Arm of Lake Nippising, or essentially anywhere else north of Parry Sound. 👌 👍 🙌

Awesome Video! Nice Work!
how are the images of the trees on the background completed? they fit right in and look great
Great video. Thanks
wow...that is MINT ! ! Question, if you took the Alco 636 out of the MU consist, would you be able to hear the sweet sound of the EMD?
Man those cars need to be weathered! It’s killing the effect of a flawless model railroad.
Wow that is mind blowing, you even have the eot monitor on the end of the train! How did you do that led? Well done!!!
They are made by Ring Engineering:

really nice layout, what brand is the PSC caboose? is that TLT or brass?
Impressive! No matter who owns the layout!
Stunning, I’m so inspired to up my game! Do you weather your own locos?
Yes he does weather his own locomotives.
WOW!..............amazing layout for sure. You,and your friends have a great eye for realism. Just saying.
Is there a smoke machine in the tunnel seems hazy?
There is a smoke machine in the tunnel.
Tyler Kinloch could you make a vid on it?
@@Lari_Jstravels I second that request.
@@Lari_Jstravels haven't been to this layout in a year so sadly I can make a video about it.
Tyler Kinloch aw that sucks could you ask the guy to if your in contact with him
You do excellent modeling! Do you work 24 hours a day on it ?
Amazing!
Even more embarrassed now. I didnt see the notation saying "this isn't my layout". I've missed that on all those videos then. So is it a friends or neighbour's layout?
Nope not my layout, belongs to a friend of mine.

Great looking layout, you just need clouds of black flies for added realism.
Love it
Mate that is sweet!
Love It this is awesome !!!!!!!!!
I am in the same mind as Locoforce, weathering on the cars would be good.
