Beautiful looking layout, the scenic effects are very realistic. It's also great to see a model railroader running their trains at a believable speed and not just creeping around like they're trying to sneak up on someone!
When I first tuned in I thought this is a real CN freight train as I looked at a certain point to my amazement IT'S A MODEL! 😱 it's that good I was fooled, I guess as I was watching earlier real life/ prototype railroad videos. My fellow CN modeler I applaud this layout & Video! 👏👏👏👏♥️
If you are going for the most realistic look possible then it’s very much noticed in this video. Aside the engines and some train cars looking squeaky clean everything thing else is looking very realistic. Nice. 👍
I really appreciate the effort that went into the scenery and weathering jobs on the locomotives evokes the prototype. Those CN geeps look amazing and the paint looks highly realistic. The VIA consist was faithfully recreated, I just watched Pentrex's Canadian Trio video of the last days of VIAs FP9s and they used F40PH-2s with the B-unit and consist that looked just like this one. This layout and models have attention to detail and top-notch prototypical accuracy.
The Canadian ran on the C.P.R. tracks ,but I can remember there were times it would come along the Kinghorn ,usually derailments or forest fires things like that.
Hi Ben, Such a great layout. I hope Justin is feeling pretty proud of himself. Watching and listening to his layout is just like being trackside. Thanks for sharing it with us. Really wish I could be at SuperTrain this year but it's very doubtful. Cheers Ben, David.
Attention to detail is fantastic! Perhaps a bit strange, but the yellow safety 'sleeves' (or whatever they are called) on the telephone pole guy wires really caught my eye.
I just had the Ahhhh moment. I was watching an older tour video of this layout from Jan 2017 then it just hit me that it is the same layout. It would be cool to see an over view picture to see the transformation!
At I believe 4:30 u gota serious height problem on your couplers, lol, also I sure like the way some of them cars rockn some what, do have 86' boxcars? Thank you very much near the end of this clip for showing your 2 entire complete trains going by👍👍 I'm sure glad you didn't do any graffiti on your rolling stock, keep them clips comn thank you,👍👍👍👍
When the video opened, I said to myself, "I thought this was a MODEL railroad video." It looked so realistic! Then the train arrived and some of the realism disappeared. Why? Because none of the engines or cars are weathered. Add some weathering to the rolling stock and it will be perfect. That aside, your videos and your modelling are phenomenal.
Spectacular layout
Thanks very much
Love waiting your videos. This is what model railroading is all about.👍👍👍
Superb scenes and detail. Good shooting too. Thank you both for sharing.
Fantastic. You have captured Northern Ontario perfectly in HO
Superb!

the late 80's Canadian with the FP9B and the dayniter 👍👍👍
Nagyon szép összeállítás,és természetesen a modellasztal sem utolsó.Teljes képernyőn nézve kiadja az összes élményt.Köszönöm Ben! üdvözlet Jani!

Amazingly realistic!
The shot of the tracker trailer at 7:36 looks great. It all looks great.
Great job on the lighting. Makes the scenery and trains look that much better.
Love watching your videos and seeing the progress on your beautiful layout. Your scenery is legit, especially the background.

Wow Justin nailed the reflectivity of the water in that layout! It reflects like the real thing. And the scenery looks very realistic

Moving along quickly looks fantastic !
Great railroad... lotta depth with the scenery
Stunning scenery is right. This is a great effort and it will have taken a lot of time to make it so.
Very nice video and inspirational one too. The scenery work looks amazing and the finish on those gravel roads is very nice!
The Canadian ran on the C.P.R. tracks ,but I can remember there were times it would come along the Kinghorn ,usually derailments or forest fires things like that.
You my friend are very talented. Just love your scenery. Mr. B.

Taken to the next level - I like it! Turn locomotive volume down a tad and you've got perfection...
Nice video!

Fantastic
Extremely realistic. Who made the searchlight signals used on this layout? Thanks.
Tomar
Thanks.... unfortunate given that the company seems to have gone radio silent...
VERY nice...
Wow great video. I had to look 3 times cause i thought it was a real train.
Great video, you would be forgiven for thinking some of these scenes are the real deal.

Good God!! Your friend has mastered scenery!! Great video. If he needs a hand with sound locos let me know :) ....wink

The locos were weathered and faded tho.
