One of the musical greats of our generation. Music that comes from the heart, beautiful songwriting. I love how his vocals can range from soft and sensitive to passionately, with great conviction rocking the f**k out. Perfection in my opinion. I admire his steadfast beliefs, despite it preventing him huge commercial success. True artist.
I will never forget the day I was introduced to Matthew Good's music. A buddy and I were going surfing on the Ga. Coast, we listened to Beautiful Midnight on the drive. Fitting. Moving. In all seriousness it was one of the best days I have lived.
Had tickets for this tour for his show in Prince Edward Island. I had to travel from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. On the way, the winds and snow were too bad for the bus to cross the bridge, making me miss the show. I still have the unripped ticket. This is like seeing something I missed. Thanks!
Beautiful concert. I just finished watching it. Thanks for the upload! That was the best Matt Good acoustic concert I've ever heard. The sound recording is stellar.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I've been listening Matt for more than 15 years and I'm afraid I live too far away to ever see him perform live so.. thanks again!! :-)
This is incredible, both the recording quality and the performance - thank you so much for sharing. I'm a long suffering American fan, who has only been fortunate enough to see him once (solo acoustic, San Francisco 2008) and craving another show ever since. So stuff like this helps, and also helps me remember that other people are as mesmerized and moved by his music as I am. I still think that he's at his best in this solo acoustic environment. The videos from his recent Canadian solo acoustic tour were phenomenal. Anyway. Cheers. :)
Thanks for the upload. Pretty incredible quality. I've seen him 11 times now, and 2 days ago I finally got to see him solo acoustic as well as meet him. It was amazing
user5871 there’s a live album with him playing at the Massey and apparitions sounds just as good as this. It’s on iTunes, enjoy if you haven’t done so already!
Mate, I'm Australian and have been a MGB fan since first discovering him in 2001. I've never had a chance to see him (yet!). You are so lucky to live in Canada and have such great bands like MG, The Hip (RIP Gordie), Wintersleep etc. that tour. Enjoy! Also, you have some pretty sweet tastes. Can you recommend any other good bands?

Dude, as a Canadian who was a huge fan of Silverchair and Dead Can Dance, I know exactly how you feel
City and colour, being Aussie though I'm sure you've heard of them from Alexisonfire.
headstones, mounties, tokyo police club, rusty, treble charger, big wreck (amazing band), big sugar, glueleg, barstool profits, watchmen, 54-40, tea party, econoline crush, junkhouse
