I learned Short foot from this video about 4 years ago.... Since then I became an ACE personal trainer and am now doing my CEC's and I am brought back to it! I'll tell you what, 4 years of doing this exercise daily has made my feet extremely powerful.

Emily's exercises were recommended by my podiatrist. This one completely sorted my plantar fasciitis in no time at all. Thanks a heap.

How long you have plantar fasciitis? And how long you wait to see the results with this exercise?

I injured myself 4 years ago, I strained my hallucis abductor and after a couple o months I developed perenoal tendonitis, iliofascial band tightness and scoliosis. I tried only the single leg deadlift and I felt immediatly changes. Im gonna start all of the exercises soon... :)

Is the ball of the foot supposed to stay on the ground or come up?

Is it okay to stand over both feet rather than put one forward as long as you distribute your weight correctly and don't lock the knees? Even if you only do one foot at a time.

This looks like doming where the ball of the foot loses its contact with the ground
