Fun Fact: there are cyborg beings in the Star Wars Expanded Universe that are very similar to protogens in terms of how they are made. And also like protogens, their backstory is pretty dark. And it just so happens that the backstory involves a certain someone who has the death sentence on 12 systems.

The normal full grown ones can inhabit small moons or large asteroids. The ancient ones are Moon-Swallower Class bc they burrow into large af dead core planets & can take moons as massive as Titan in one bite without ever coming close to choking. But the ancient ones aren't noted bc they're almost dead anyway. But Sar'lacc have indeterminate growth, so as long as they have food, they'll keep growing.
The wings are so extra XD. It's like if Winx Club had an additional protogen member. Respect for the modders tho. They really put an awesome job to this.
I like to think that the wings were an afterthought. Like the modder thought to themself, "You know what would be funny, if I put wings on it just to piss off the protosona police haha!" "Noo! yOu CaN't JuSt PuT wInGs On YoUr PrOtOgEn! ThAt'S iLlEgAl!" "Ha Ha! Wings go BRRRRRRR!"
The wings are actually part of the original design of this character model. If you didn't know, this protogen is actually a fursona of someone that got turned into this mod. The owner of the protogen character gave his blessings for this mod.
