While I'm not a hoarder, I'm really happy that I managed to keep the kitties all these years, along with a few other needlework pieces. I'd love to chart them one day, so keep an eye out for that. :) Thanks for watching, and I'll try to get Stanley to make an appearance in the next one.

Enjoyed your visit with Ellen on her floss tube. Very happy to see that you took the plunge into your own Floss Tube. Enjoyed seeing your projects and finishes. Like the mix of fiber arts. Stanley is lovely, I mean very handsome! My friends and family are used to my cat interrupting calls. Inherent curiosity and my attention being diverted from her puts her front and center. Look forward to you sharing more of your Ukrainian heritage in craft and design. 🌻 🇺🇦

Dearest RyRy I must tell you as was having a pretty awful day until I watched your Floss tube #2. You were the ray of sunshine I needed. The antics of pets with some floss tubers are so endearing and Stanley gave me a good chuckle! I'm enjoying you so much. My heart goes out to Ukraine as I have many Ukrainian friends. The treasure you shared with us of a gift from when you were one year's old is irreplaceable and I personally feel these heritage pieces are gold. Thank you. Susan from British Columbia.

I recently discovered your channel and decided to start at the beginning. Stanley reminds me of every cat I've ever known. That indignant meow when you put him down. A "How dare you" if i ever heard it. Thank you for your floss tubes. You are very calm and i really appreciate your casual but fun vibe. Thank you again.

Welcome to the channel, Ariana! And thank you so much for the kind compliment. I am actually nervous to go back but also curious to see if and how I've changed in my delivery. I think I'm saying "umm" less. 😊 Funny you should also say that about Stanley...while he's very typical in so many ways, he's also the most personality-forward cat I've ever had. He always makes me laugh.

Hi Ryan, it was fun meeting Stanley. I have a calico cat with similar markings and colour as Stanley and she seems to have a similar personality type, as in: here I am and yes I’m the one stealing the show and pet me now.
Your Ink Circles wip is beautiful and love the colours. The cording for your mittens reminded me of my childhood as we all had the mitten cords too. I very much enjoyed your video and it was fun seeing your haul and hearing about what you’ve been working on. I’m looking forward to your next video.

I also am a knitter and sewer. Enjoyed Stanley appearance, my " Saerin " is an all white version of Stanley. She always seems to have to be or wants to sit on anything I'm sewing. I also have some great memories of airmail from my small northern BC town to My grandparent in India. I still have many of the hand embroidered items sent with love. That’s the beauty of being children of immigrants- we share in the history and culture of where we came from and where we are today. This something I appreciate more with every passing year. 🇨🇦 🇮🇳

Yes, isn't it funny how we appreciate these things more as we get older? I'm very fortunate that a cousin of mine took up the task of gathering and documenting my baba's recipes while she was still with us. There's a special communion that takes place when we make something we know that our grandmothers had cooked.

Similar stitches to Hardanger, without any cutting. A lot of fun. Your Jeannette Douglas topiary design is lovely. Since you like practical, a needle book would showcase your stitching. Sounds great but for the last two days, it poured rain on top of a foot of snow and several inches of ice on my very large and long driveway (I'm pretty rural). I now have water puddles on top of the ice and slushy snow. In a few days, it's supposed to go back down to the 20s (F), so it'll all freeze again. There is literally no rock salt anywhere since the end of November. Scoring a single bag of the stuff is like scoring paper products at the beginning of the pandemic, so I wear my snowshoes across the ice to feed the chickens. But, it's March.
