I am really enjoying your videos and I hope you and Ellen are at the May stitch north weekend. Michelle of Bendy stitchy are rooming together!!! Love your stitching and can’t wait for your next video!
Hi Trina! How did you manage to secure such an awesome roomie? 😁 You guys are going to have a blast. I booked for the April weekend but I live in Toronto and have been entertaining the fantasy of attending both. We shall see.
Ryan , I love your videos. The catnip sock is really cute. Your stitching is beautiful and I love all the patterns you're working on. Thank you for sharing!!!
I like the colors you used in April flowers. Easy Glide are my favorite needles too. Might be harder to end thread in back. But where there’s a will, there is a way. Even if I have to thread a regular needle. 😲101😲😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
I have never seen the 101 Alphabets… WOW!! What a fantastic long haul project. I am very anxious to see your finished MFE Sal piece. Thanks for another great video!! 😊😊😊
I can't wait to show off my MFE either! I'm struggling finding the right frame and I suspect I'll just have to go the custom route. And yes, 101 Alphabets is definitely long haul. If I didn't approach it that way, I'd likely never even start it!
Dearest RyRy.. I so enjoy spending time and enjoying your company. MFE and Jacob is one of my favourite designers. The one over one brings a new level of finery to needlework. I love the look! I could barely see Stanley preening himself sitting beside your chair. Good this I got a glimpse of him in the boxes
Have you seen Jacob's version of the design I'm stitching? Be sure to check out his Instagram if you haven't already. It's very inspiring. And yes, Stanley behaved himself during filming. I think the catnip toy exhausted him. I'll have to remember that for next time. :)
Great video! Think you have enabled me to look at Rosewood Manors patterns - I like the idea of working on something over a period of time - slowly watching it come together! Jess 😁
Oh yes, I knew if I didn't intentionally plan for that project to take multiple years, I doubt I would have started it. Small bites is the way to go. 😁
Good to see you again Ryan. Spending time with you is so relaxing. You have such a gentle spirit so quiet and easy to listen to. Love seeing what your working on. And when you showed us that little sock I chuckled. Lol lol. I thought to myself in this crazy hectic world we live in we could all use a little sock with catnip in it. Lol lol lol lol. Maybe it's what we all need. Lol 😂. Have a good night. Linda from Rhode Island
I am so glad you were gifted the EZ guide ball point needles. There is a learning curve to ending off threads, but the increase in stitching speed is well worth it. Your monochromatic MFE piece would be a good match as no color changes. Hope you like them as much as I do. As always, loved your video. Happy stitching!

No worries about the Lady Man embroidery since it sounds like you're already got a lot on your plate. I had to look up Boutis. Being in Canada, it makes the subscription programs in general rather prohibitive because of the steep shipping fees. Oh well. I'm happy to support my fellow Canadian dyers and makers. 😊
I’m loving your FlossTube, Ryan! Just one hack I thought I would share with you. I discovered steering wheel covers at the Dollar Store that work perfectly as grime guards! I have a variety now. I am using one on an 11x11 Q-Snap. Stitch on! 💝

Holy Smokes!! That is a huuuge project - the 101 Alphabets!!
Oh yes! That's an excellent idea with the felt ears! I actually made a pair of felted ones for a reindeer ornament I've been making so I could definitely have a go at that. My cats love boxes too. I’m a crazy cat owner. When we are in Costco I head for the shampoo. The head and shoulder boxes and the Pantene are perfect cat box size.
Fascinating! And they don't find any residual scent from the products too strong? It's funny how they can be super picky about some things and totally not care about others.
As I think I’ve already mentioned, that is the cutest little bunny I have ever seen! Have you named him yet? If you should consider making these for fun and profit, may I be first in line, please?! Your mini bouquet is perfect! When was your birthday, Ryan? I can’t picture you as an Aries, so late April?
I am in fact under the sign of Aries. I'm familiar enough with the typical traits to know that I don't think I'm typical of the sign, although I can be headstrong. 😁 And no, I haven't named the bunny yet, other than calling him Sweet Pea. Let see when the companion gets made and if any names speak to me. I'll definitely mention that in a future video. :)
Aha! Well, that would explain why I don’t get paid for my astrological knowledge! Lol One of my best friends is an Aires.. I should have known! Happy belated birthday!
I am a Gemini x3- sun, moon and rising sign, so I am the one having 10 conversations at the same time and working on 25 projects at the same time! I’m actually delighted that you’re a Aries- I divorced the last Taurus I was around for any length of time! Keep working on Sweet Peas companion. We don’t want him to be lonely! See you in the next video!
@@teresaboyer5707 Well we each have our strengths, hehe. But like I said, I don't have the same characteristics typically associated with an Aries so no one can fault you.
Thank you for another lovely video. We have sat together whilst I conquer my ironing mountain.
I love the way you take a vacation from a project until you can figure it out.. me too .
I’m in a sewing group called Tuesday crafternoon! 😀🪡 so it made me smile when you used this term too.
I’ve slowed up on my lady man embroidery, well when I say slowed up, I haven’t actually started , still at the drawing stage.
I’ve just started some Boutis quilting. I was inspired avfter visiting the Sanjou shop you talked about. That’s my May project.
Any hoo. Thanks again for sharing.

I'm so sorry but I thought I had replied to this already. Or maybe it posted twice? Apologies if I'm repeating myself here. Ironing is a chore I secretly love! Or maybe it's not so secret anymore. hehe. And yay to crafternoons! And yes, I remember talking about Boutis vs Trapunto earlier. Darn you for introducing me to another craft!!! 😂 Hope you're having an awesome week!
Ah yes sorry, my message seems to have sent twice.
