We just got back from Bávaro in the Dominican Republic, seaweed was a bad problem. We were there 1 week before the hurricane so maybe it’s different now. But the seaweed was really bad. As for 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, we found there were so many resorts on the beach we couldn’t enjoy the beach. Each hotel had staked out the beach in front of the resort and each resort had its own towel. If you didn’t have that towel you weren’t welcome on that section of the beach. And when the cruise ships arrived it was pure chaos.
Vanessa, please do a video comparing the resort brands in Playa / Cancun area. We have stayed at El Dorado, Rui, Iberostar, Barcello & Moon Palace. They were all nice, the Rui had the hardest bed so it was a no go. We love the Barcello resorts because of the resort design and snorkeling off the beach.
Been to few of these nice beaches. Negril was my first. Paradise Island Bahamas (Atlantis Resort) and some of the other Bahama islands are great too, white and pink sand beaches.
Turks and bahamas for diving and coral.Keys and bahamas for family, St lucia and US virgin for sailing life. Caymen for going for a drive. Love renting a civic and going to the parks and chill at beach after. These are my personal favs of carribean
SO thankful I found your channel! I'm a heavy researcher for my travel and was looking everywhere on blogs / forums / generic searches for island recs / differences. Your recs are spot on based on my island research and experience --- you should do a website with summaries! (I started my search with just general googling and nothing like this came up!!) Great Channel idea btw - def a market gap for this information :)
We've definitely got Scape Park on our list for the beginning of November. We really cannot wait 2wks to explore the dr again, we've visited Majestic Mirage which we loved in Bravro. ❣️
Hi Vanessa Thanks again for organizing all this great info together for us and relaying it so enthusiastically with your voice that could do radio or voice overs! Amen to swimming in Grand Cayman right in front of Kimpton Seafire I see you recommended it and I do to Love it there everything you need for water sports right there on the beach nice clear warm water drinks/food walking distance to a few different spots to eat although town is not far in a rental car, or bus the whole Island is not that big to explore❤ I like Punta cana to but the beach on the other side is sooo great I’ll be staying over there next time❤I like Montego Bay but once I stayed in Negril Ive been hooked on that side of the Island ever since I prefer the nicer beaches. I like Sedona visually too have you been to corkscrew canyons (Antelope) supercool! I’m still searching for my beach to beat all beaches…
I enjoy all your videos but this one is my favorite. I'm a solo traveler that bases his vacations on the beautiful beaches that I can get to. I'll definitely be using this video to determine where I'll go next. Keep these great videos on beaches coming.👏
Love your style & channel! Your advice will be appreciated: Wife & I are 56 and have started budget traveling, out of the US, around our anniversary of April 1st; Negril Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Aruba so far. Like to fly Southwest (points you know). We are somewhat budget minded Warm, calm and clear waters for wading are what we like. Just relaxing on the beach; we seldom venture out other than to eat. Street food is our preference, but all-inclusive seem interesting. Please advise. Many thanks!
Thanks for another great video, Vanessa! 🥰 When picking a place to visit, the beach is definitely one of my top deciding factors! So many gorgeous beaches! It's so hard to choose 🙃
I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing 4 of the beaches on your list. I have been to Negril beach twice, staying at Hedonism II in the 1980’s and at Couples Negril in the 2000’s. While the beach is quite beautiful, I found vendors there to be quite aggressive. On my first trip there were even people floating on logs in the ocean trying to sell drugs.
Lots of beautiful beaches here. But you want beautiful beaches, great water, and no crowds, go to Eleuthera in the Bahamas. We went to beaches as perfect as any you've shown...and we were the only couple there.
Hi Vanessa, go to the Baha Mar next year and wanted to know if you did a video on that resort. This will be our second time there but the first time was during Covid so not everything was open. Looking for some great dinner reviews. Thank you
Great recommendation. The Bahamas often get a bum rap because most cruise ships stop at Nassau, which is not very attractive, to say the least. But I've been to some of the other islands in the Bahamas and they were stunning. Don't let Nassau deter you!
I agree with you 100%,the best beaches in the world Bahamas and Cuba, also Aruba and can’t forget the Virgin Islands better than any of the beaches she is talking about.
Hi - looking to plan out first Jamaica trip. Looking at couples in negril. A few TA’s said bloody bay isnt really 7 mile beach sort of talked down on it. Could you clarify ? Sure looks like it’s part of that beach.
Beautiful video, Vanessa. I'm due to revist Negril. I was sick on my last visit 10 years ago. Definitely need to reexperience it, but first maybe the Cayman Islands. Are the Excellence Resorts on the Bavaro Beach in DR? This video makes me want to visit there and all the spots, as well. I know you put some much hard work and diligence into these videos and it's truly appreciated. You will have to give us your picks as to where to stay in each location named. I'm eagerly looking forward to your next video.
Hi Debbie-Ann! Thank you so much ☺️ I’m so sorry you were sick on your trip. Been there and it’s the worst 🥴 I do have a recommendation for the Caymans that I try to keep secret 🤫 but it’s the Kimpton Seafire. Pricey but absolutely 🙌 You have good taste though, so I’m sure you’ll pick a winner. Let me know how it goes.
The Excellence resorts are about 20 mins further north than Bavaro beach. We just got back from a trip to Excellence Punta Cana and had a wonderful time ! The ocean is rougher than Bavaro, and the water not quite the turquoise water of Bavaro. The resort is out by itself, not congested like Bavaro. We loved the ruggedness of the ocean and wildness of the resort setting, you feel like you're at the only resort in the DR. The resort is a bit older, but modernized and very clean, the grounds are beautiful and absolutely immaculate, The staff were the hardest working, nicest people I've ever met in my life. For the money you will not find a better all around resort in the Caribbean.
Great list, Vanessa 👍🏻 I haven’t been the the Caymans, Aruba or Turks & Caicos, but I would add a few more to your list: Magens Bay, St Thomas … on MANY lists as one of the top 10 beaches in the WORLD! Beauregard Beach, St Croix … with a spectacular view of Christiansted (especially at night) 😉 Trunk Bay on St John … an underwater snorkeling trail Fort-de-France bay, Martinique … popular cruise ship stop, but can rent a chair for the day at local resorts (nudity permitted) the beach off Sandals, Barbados … the softest, finest, white sand I’ve found anywhere Grand Case Beach, St Maarten … uncrowded, peaceful, long beach often rated one of the best in the Caribbean (and Orient Bay, clothing optional … ah, the French) 🙄 Bavaro Beach, Dom Rep … so many to choose from ☺️ And, although not officially the Caribbean, Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda 👍🏻🇧🇲
I went there last year. Rough waters in the area, wear earplugs while swimming! I didn't know this and got an ear infection for the first time in my life. It was so painful that I had to go to urgent care to get antibiotic ear drops. It still bothers me every once in a while, even though its a year later.
I've been to Turks & Caicos many times. My only complaint is trying to find a spa that has more amenities than just massages and a hot tub. I want saunas, steam rooms, snow rooms (they have one at Woodloch spa in Pennsylvania), waterfall jetted hot tubs, special mineral pools, unique treatments, etc. Food can also be hit or miss and groceries cost a lot. Overall though, you can't beat Grace Bay. I can think of only a handful of other beaches in the Caribbean/Bahamas area that compares. The Maldives would also be another equal or better but much farther away and expensive.
Trump can’t even get Mid Term gops in anymore let alone himself 😂 no chance. DeDantis is the best bet at this juncture. Unless Biden chooses not to run and the Dems pull up a better candidate. With all the dead covid conservatives and all the young Gen Z voters, the GOP desperately needs to rebuild and rebrand. Nov 22 was proof of that.
Hi Guys, I had a great time making this one, sharing all my fave beaches and I hope you enjoy too. Thank you for watching -Vanessa ❤
Great video! These all look great but Cuban beaches are pretty hard to beat.
I don’t go to Cuba, but the most beautifuls beaches in the Caribbean more than 400 beaches are in Cuba.
The out islands of the Bahamas also have gorgeous beaches ❤ like treasure cay in the Abacos , Exuma , Cat island etc
Yay time for a much needed visual vacation! Vanessa you are the best travel channel I have seen on UA-cam!! Much love from chilly Minnesota
Thank you Kelsey! 😊 That means alot. Stay warm! ☺️

There is nothing like Grace Bay❤Glad you agree😊 Heading back there on Dec. 2nd. Love your videos
Thank you! Have a wonderful time 😊
Bahamas is very similar to Grace Bay, they were one country way back when!
Wow! The Caribbean looks so beautiful! And of course it has amazing beaches! I would love to visit sometime! ❤️🏝️🏖️🌅☀️❤️
Eagle Beach is my favorite. I go every year. I would suggest anyone heading to Aruba to make sure to rent a car and see the whole island.
The two beaches that you showed from Antigua and Grenada are beautiful I've been there so I'm glad that you included them on this list tyvm👍❤
Been to few of these nice beaches. Negril was my first. Paradise Island Bahamas (Atlantis Resort) and some of the other Bahama islands are great too, white and pink sand beaches.
I agree Grace Bay & both 7 Mile beaches are awesome ! I hope to get back to them all. Congrats on 100K ! 👏💛💜
Thank you so much Nikki! Thanks for being a loyal subscriber and viewer all this time ☺️🙏
Beautiful beaches. Thanks for adding to my list of places to visit. Love your videos!❤
My pleasure! ☺️ Glad you like them

Thanks for great video! Glad my fav Grace beach is also your N1! Will definitely check 7miles, it looks gorgeous ❤
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching ☺️
There is nothing like Grace Bay- glad you agree😊 I definitely prefer ocean to pool. We are heading back to Grace Bay on December 2nd

We've definitely got Scape Park on our list for the beginning of November.
We really cannot wait 2wks to explore the dr again, we've visited Majestic Mirage which we loved in Bravro. ❣️
I went to Gran Anse in September - beautiful! Surprised Pigeon Point in Tobago didn't make the list!

All of these beaches look amazing! Aruba is definitely on my list! Love the video as always!
Thank you Shannon! 😊 Hope you’re well
Enjoy Aruba! It’s so beautiful and relaxing!!!
Love the detail oriented content! Keep up the good work ❤

100%! Eleuthera, Cat Island, The Exumas, Treasure Cay, Long Island, etc...all great islands with minimal to low crowds and great water/beaches!
I love your page Vanessa ! Thank you for always posting great content.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind comments 😊
Could you do a review of Hyatt Ziva Capa Cana? Trying to determine best family resorts. ❤. Happy New Year!

Thanks for another great video! And congrats on your 100K subscribers!!! 😊😎
Thank you Jiji! Much appreciated 🙏😊
IMO some of the best beautiful beaches in the world are in the Bahamas outer or family islands... PLUS no tourists on many of them 😊
Great recommendation. The Bahamas often get a bum rap because most cruise ships stop at Nassau, which is not very attractive, to say the least. But I've been to some of the other islands in the Bahamas and they were stunning. Don't let Nassau deter you!

Congrats on 100K,
Placencia is perfect
What is the best all inclusive resort that has the best beaches?
Curious, I’ve never heard you mention Costa Rica or Belize. Do you like their beaches?
I’ve talked about both 😊 Yes. Check out my Playlists
All I found was affordable Costa Rican Hotels. I’m wondering best honeymoon resorts in Costa Rica or Belize. 😊
Love the video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Puerto Rico 💥💯💗
Bavaro truly was beautiful but I didnt find it very swimmable, so much seaweed and rough waves
I went there last year. Rough waters in the area, wear earplugs while swimming! I didn't know this and got an ear infection for the first time in my life. Thank you so much Emilia!! No, but I have had some viewers ask for one to document our travels, so we'll see ☺️
