I have tested Cube baby as a sound card and I saw ,when the input and the output of the DAW audio set as usb audio, latency is very low(buffer size 256 adaquate).
But If I chose output of DAW auido as PC headphone or speaker ,I have had to chose big size buffer like 1024 for clear sound, As a result sound latency increased. But in this case, both DAW output and DI Guitar input signal mixing in cube baby headphe.
I want to just to monitor the output of DAW on the headphone of cube baby not together with DI Guitar signal.
However when using cube baby as a sound card with DAW or Standalone Guitar FX software,
In the present case I hear both of DAW monitoring and Cubebaby at the same time.
I know it is somewhow possible (i.e Blackstar id Core Architect software does this).
If similiar choice like this in CubeSuite software in new firmware it is realy appreciated for cubebay users.

My approach on latency is, tweak it every now and then. Its more of a trial and error.
Good point on Cube Baby monitoring, there's no switch for Direct and Software Audio monitoring.. Im actually using the Headphones Out of the Laptop as my output device. But in this video, I just showed the Cube Baby as Output to avoid confusion on the viewers (I will make a separate video for the Direct and Software Audio Monitoring).

How about the impedance? Does it sound the same or worse than a cheap interface like the Behringer um2? A DI comparison of the same guitar would be worthwhile.
For me it sounds the same. If my memory serves me right, the Cube Baby has 16bit 48khz resolution.
I was wondering if this would work if i used both Mooer GE100 and Cuvave? And is it also going to work with Neural DSP?

How come when I try to setup may cuvave with reaper's input and output options, it only asks me to choose from HD Audio Mic input 1 and 2, HD Audio output 1 and 2. It doesn't show the options you have in this video?
Use a high quality data usb cable. That will solve it. Thanks
Alam nyo po ba bit depth ng Cuvave Cube Baby? May nakita ako na isang youtuber na sabi daw 24-bit nakalagay sa manual pero 16 bit daw detected sa kanya. Old model(yung rubber knobs) ginamit niya kaya baka nafix na sa bagong Cuvave Cube Baby

Yes. I can recommend it. But if you have a budget, go for a real audio interface.
Do i need the DAW and all these things even if i dont want to record anything?, i mean, i just wanna plug my bass and play it on DI.
Yes. You can do that as well.
This pedal has a builtin amp sims, IR Cabs and Effects. You may use this as a practice tool. It also has a bluetooth audio for backing track.

Hi cube suite keeps saying waiting for device to connect, I have tried different good usb cable and windows sees cube baby as usb midi and usb audio but cube suite does not see the device, please advise what I am doing wrong.
Sorted this issue, rebooted pc with device powered on and it worked 🤷♂️
I have been trying to use cube baby with bias FX on iPad (via USB) and just get lots of feedback, I need to try and see if this setting helps
You need to turn off the loop back in cubesuite software

Naku. Di ko po kasi gamay yung Audacity. Dapat eh meron na yan. Same setup lang dito sa Reaper.

Yes it will work too. You just need a Data-Charging Cable for that. Connect all to the pc/laptop, then open its camera softwarw. And thats it!
detected yung cubebaby sa software and can edit ir and presets pero di ata gumagana yung pagpatay ng usb loopback? nag fefeedback lang kasi yung earphones kapag nag oout na yung reaper. maybe din old na yung cubababy ko yung muslady pa na red.

baket kaya sa kin either walang tunog or puro feedback lumalabas? Pero nagreregister naman sa app dahil gumagalaw mga input/putput bars pag nag strum ako. usb audio ang input at output. nakasaksak yung earphone jack ng cube baby papuntang amplifier. walang nakasalpak sa OUT ng cube baby. gusto ko sana itry yung guitar rig 7

Sir, just for confirmation, is it okay to just use the ML sound lab without the DAW?
Yes. It has a stand alone software when you download it. Check it out.
Tho, the ASIO will differ on the DAW plugin version versus the StandAlone Software.

Use a different USB Cable or try plugging it to another laptop's USB Port.. Hope this helps.

Yung sa standalone Sir? Actually, di ko pa natry sa standalone. If ang AMP5 kasi ako, laging plugin version sa reaper gamit ko.. Iba din ata ang configuration sa Plugin at Standalone version.

Why amped root not showing on reaper?
I think you need to scan the plugins folder path or refresh it for it to be recognized by the Reaper..

If mapapansin mo sa video, ang nilagay ko sa output ay usb audio pa din..pero may note don na we can set any output. Its because, may separate video ako for direct and usb audio monitoring..
Nirelay ko na din to sa Cuvave. Sana maconsider sa update if ever yung direct or software audio monitoring switch. Mukang malabo, but That would be awesome.

What do you mean connections Sir? You mean yung mismong pagsesetup ko ng cube baby pedal? Basic connection lang Sir, yung cube baby icoconnect sa PC via USB port. Then yun na po. Wala namang iba pang gagawin, tas on lang yung cube baby. Then, itong video na mismo.

You need a decent USB Cable. Try mo Ugreen. Yun kasi gamit ko. Links in the Desciption.

There's always a latency no matter what. Kahit focusrite pa interface Sir. And as discussed sa video, yung latency is kino-compensate using buffers in ASIO para mawala sya sa human feel. And hindi na maging noticeable (but it's still there, may latency pa din naman, pero di na halata sa human ear). Hope this helps..thanks

2. Don't forget to Turn Off the USB Loopback in CubeSuite app, if it's ON, it will create a high pitch noise (thats the loopback feedback).
3. For the Output Device in ASIO, we can set any output of our choice. There's no switch for Direct monitoring and Software Audio monitoring for Cube Baby, so if we set it as output device, we can hear the Direct Input and Effected Sound at the same time. I will make a separate video for this.
