    Great playing and demo. I could see this being helpful for a backup or someone just starting out playing guitar. It would be nice to have a second output but at that price point you really can’t complain lol.

    • @AlexPriceMusician
      @AlexPriceMusician  2 роки тому +2

      You could possibly use the headphone out as a second output. It’ll be much hotter than the ordinary 1/4” so maybe grab a passive volume pedal to attenuate it.

    Definalty wasnt new when video was made as its been a company selling to other little brands to put what names they want on them. The Muvave or whatever Getaria, cube baby can be found for 35 bucks. Which is a great little device. A few hiccups with reverb tied to Cab sim. Hahah. But hey. The cheaper priced name (same software runs all of them) , the Non Getaria seems to be the best as its software works better from what i have seen. Cool though.

    This multi-effect pedal seems dope for the inexpensive price. You provided a thorough, solid review! Thanks! I want to use this unit on a second pedalboard for people who visit my house and want to jam. This pedal will be played, with other connected pedals in the chain, through a Fender HRD IV with the matching HRD extension cab.
    Most important question: Can this pedal accept a standard male 9v Power Supply input [round barrel connector]? Amazon description states this is "powered by a 9v power supply," and some reviews mention this too, but I do not see a 9v female port on this pedal in ANY of the photos. I cannot find the clear answer to this question on Amazon nor anywhere else.
    Lastly, am I able to utilize ALL the effects engaged at the same time, i.e., reverb, delay & drive? Thank you so much for your help! 🫶

    Hey Alex! Your tone is pretty damn decent sir! Nice work! Id be curious to see if you've ever demo'd or be interested in taking a look at the POD Go or the Valeton GP200, they're pretty on par with each other, but obviously the PodGo will definitely be better, which is reflected in the price, but the Valeton does do a lot for the money. Anyway, nice work!

    Very nice review and awesome playing.
    Did you try it with any of the violins you have in the wall? Would you recommend it for violinists?
    And did you get the chance to try the cube baby from other factory such as "M-vave" "Getaria" or "Cuvave", do you think there is a difference of quality between them?
    Thanks!

    • @AlexPriceMusician
      @AlexPriceMusician  Рік тому

      The other products will be identical, just under a different name. The effects - modulation, delay, reverb, etc. will work great with violin. If you want to get some overdriven sounds out of it, a violin really benefits from a dry pass-through (an identical, non distorted signal path that you can blend with the distorted one), which the Cube Baby does not have.

    The cleans seemed quite usable, and it's great that it has some IR's on it (if they sound good), but the driven sounds were horrid lol. It actually sounds like they cloned a line 6 spider 30w combo lololol 🤡 It does seem like you're getting a lot for not a lot, but when you factor in the laughable drive sound it doesn't look too good. I mean one could get a used boss GT8 or something similar for just a few shekels more and that will make this thing look sad in every way. Fab cat though !!! Worth a thumbs up just for the moggy 😻

    • @AlexPriceMusician
      @AlexPriceMusician  2 роки тому

      Did someone else say that? I didn’t think it was noticeable honestly. In my experience if you’re someone totally new to modelers, it’s a weird thing to get used to for sure. I think they’d probably say the same thing about the Line 6 devices.

    • @clintwhite3021
      @clintwhite3021 2 роки тому +1

      @@AlexPriceMusician Yea I read it somewhere... I think the "disconnection" feeling is more to do with something digital though and not the latency. Kinda like a spongeyness. If you think about it a 10-20 millisecond latency is just like standing across the room from your amp. I've got a sonic IR loader (20 milliseconds), nux cerberus (2milliseconds) and both feel wierd, and the Simplifier and Vox Silk Drive which as you know is analog cab sim and feels great. Lately I've been looking at aitr.nl IRs and do feel better. Anyhow cheers again for the great content :).
