Engine is fantastic! Vitara is more faster than Suzuki declared, many magazines tested Vitara 1.4, real performances are: 0-100 in 8.8-9.1, max vel close to 200.
This is after they made the car heavier with the hybrid system, and reduced the engine power a little by choosing a slightly smaller turbo for this generation, I personally choose the vitara facelift non-hybrid, having much better performance, and the tax, at least in my country, is not such a big difference. Anyway suzuki makes some extraordinary cars according to the value for money!
Very good filming with cars and on-board instruments. You had a great idea. Congratulations. Maybe it was good to have measured the noise in the car with a phone set as a decibel meter.
Honestly vitara FWD 1,4 booster yet hybrid is way quicker than everyone would think. Second gear straight bussin in that car. (First gear has no greap no matter what you do)

Not in Germany yet, but they are thinking about it (the driver want to show, what is possible). 🤭 But I'm pretty sure, we will face soon 130km/h as a limit, so I don't care anymore. But the interesting part for me, was the wind sound beyond 150km/h> which somebody noted in another video and you could hear that 1:1 (but with expected 130km/h, another "don't care").
@@uwepietsch3877 As the Vitara 1.6 petrol engine owner for the last five years I can assure you this wind noice, as much as it's noticeable, isn't big of a issue when driving unless (probably) if you've accustimed to much, much more expensive cars with better noise isolation. Considering extremely fair price and all that's in this car wind noise is very far from being a deal braker! But Vitara is extremely fun, easy to drive and comfortable car that's packed with huge load of stuff even at the lowest trim levels and all that in very reasonable price! And Vitara is even great and very comfortable for the long distance trips as I've done a number of times when driving from eastern Croatia to Ingolstadt in Germany! Greetings from Croatia!

In our country maximum allowed driving speed is limited to 130 km/h at highways and 110 km/h at expressways although somewhat higher speeds (140-150 km/h) than these are mostly tolerated at highways excluding section with lower allowed speeds where there's max. speed limit to 60-80 km/h (roads under reconstruction, some tunnels, bridges...).

I'm extremely satisfied driver of Suzuki Vitara 1.6 petrol engine for the last five years and I don't find wind noise that much of a problem! Yes, it's noticeable but very far from being a huge problem or something overly annoying esp. if you're not driving much faster than 150 kmh although I don't have problem driving this great car even at 170. I guess this depends on personal taste or if someone's accustomed driving higer end but also much more expensive cars! And Suzuki Vitara is very hard to beat since this is very affordable, cost efficient car that has huge number of stuff even at the lowest trimm levels, usually much more generous than all others!

6MT The specification which isn't in Japan. The engine powerful for the body which isn't too big. They take it by ideal combination and seem funny. 👍 With the enviable overseas specification
My Swift Hybrid 2021 with 1.2l engine has even better combination . So light and easy to drive. Also directly imported from Japan which speaks volumes about the quality !
It’s the same engine in the different case. No difference at all. Maybe less noise, because S-Cross is more aerodynamical than Vitara. But speed and acceleration are almost identical.

@@tirgod100 I do not feel excessive noise, even in 180 kph. For me, very good car with very good equipment, driving characteristics and very reasonable price. Much better than Dacia Duster, Arkana, Captur, MG ZS or Ssangyong Korando.
I'm on my 3rd vitara, had a new 1 this year, just gutted it'll be my last vitara due to them stopping doing them giving way to the new all electric model they got coming out to replace it.

Hello, i have the same car. Interior plastic is ok in this price category but nothing special. Everything is a bit cheeper than in other comparable cars but here you can have an affordable 4x4 system. Extreme noise is also true mainly with the sunroof but this gives you an excellent 1990' feeling. I like it.

my oil smells like gasoline.i think is relataed that i drive mostly in town. but for ex after a trip from Romania to Austria there was no smell of gas in the oil.I want to know if others have thi issue
Little bit of gas smell in oil is normal & completely fine for a car with turbo. If you do drive mostly in town i recommend taking a few trips every month with ~50km to let the build up gas evaporate out of the hot oil (since Motor oil gets above 90*C which is higher than the evaporation point of Standard gasoline). I drive over 50km every day in this car and the oil still smells "gassy" so this is probably normal
How many km has the engine ? Is it safe to drive it full speed even new from the shop or does it have to pass 1000km smoothly first? I'm asking because I just got my Swift Hybrid and have 100km on it ..TY !
After 2000 km is better, dont rev over 4000 rpm at brand new car. Yes it feel safe at highspeed on german road surface and most of European country, some countries has different road surface quality, some countries is dangerous for high speed due road surface etc

In Greece (Under3world Escobaria) it is even worse. With speed limits from 80 to 120 km/h on the national highway, but every time you enter the highway you pay 2.80 euros each time, even if you take the next exit. The roads cost 3 to 4 times more to build than German autobahns, they are roads built with public taxes. Now they have been gifted to 4 families along with German companies and collect tolls. Just recently they gave 1.2 billion euros from public taxes to build a tunnel. Then they will give her away too. Your are very lucky in Vietnam.

Ich hab so nen lästigen kollegen der immer lügen muss. Bin mit den ma in meinem alten 1.9er audi a3 bergab 220 laut tacho gefahren und er meint direkt er wär mit dem vitara seines vaters 240 auf Landstraße gefahren😂 hab mir dann nen 2.0tfsi a5 geholt und gesagt der Vorbesitzer meinte er wär schonma 260 damit gefahren. Der kollege wiederum sagt er wär schon 260 mit dem vitara gefahren😂 junge wenn ich mit dem fahr fährt der mit 70/80 auf der Landstraße 😂
As someone who's driving very similar (2015. model) Vitara 1.6 petrol engine for the last five years I can assure you wind noise isn't big of a issue in this car unless you're accustomed to much more expensive cars! Vitara is very fun, easy to ride and comfortable car that is usually packed with huge number of stuff even at the lowest trimm levels and all that for extremely fair price!

Vitara is very affordable car that isn't luxurious vehicle but it offers great amount of stuff even at the lowest trimm levels, usually much more generous than all others at these price points! And as the Vitara 1.6 petrol engine driver for the last five years I can say I'm very satisfied how easy driving, fun and comfortable this car is! Also, had no issues with this car whatsoever! Now i'm looking forward to replace it with this newest Suzuki Vitara 1.4 hybrid that has even more new great stuff, or even amazing new Suzuki S-Cross!

I have seen 205 km/h with my Vitara, but never intend to do that again. But the car is really enjoyable at 140-150 km/h

My Vitara S All Grip (140hp) reaches 201 km/h, 0-100 in 8.5s. But hybrid version is veeery good.
Now only mild hybrid 95kW , and it is no so fast, and hybrid 75kW(no comments)

Yes, it will stay in the lane but it will force to put your hands on the steering wheel after approximately 10 seconds.

Best speed is 160. If you go more than that speed it vibrates a lot and it doesn’t feel safe

It is so noisy I sold it. You can't keep 130km/h cruise without causing extreme fatigue after few hours. It is worse than a VW UP.

Bin mit den ma in meinem alten 1.9er audi a3 bergab 220 laut tacho gefahren und er meint direkt er wär mit dem vitara seines vaters 240 auf Landstraße gefahren😂 hab mir dann nen 2.0tfsi a5 geholt und gesagt der Vorbesitzer meinte er wär schonma 260 damit gefahren. Der kollege wiederum sagt er wär schon 260 mit dem vitara gefahren😂 junge wenn ich mit dem fahr fährt der mit 70/80 auf der Landstraße 😂
Und ich weiß ja dass das alles gelogen ist der is wahrscheinlich noch nie schneller als 150 gefahren aber egal was man sagt er hat ne ausrede😂

There's alternative for You, Niva or kalina.
As someone who's driving very similar (2015. model) Vitara 1.6 petrol engine for the last five years I can assure you wind noise isn't big of a issue in this car unless you're accustomed to much more expensive cars!
Vitara is very fun, easy to ride and comfortable car that is usually packed with huge number of stuff even at the lowest trimm levels and all that for extremely fair price!

Exactly so! Vitara is very affordable car that isn't luxurious vehicle but it offers great amount of stuff even at the lowest trimm levels, usually much more generous than all others at these price points!
And as the Vitara 1.6 petrol engine driver for the last five years I can say I'm very satisfied how easy driving, fun and comfortable this car is! Also, had no issues with this car whatsoever!
Now i'm looking forward to replace it with this newest Suzuki Vitara 1.4 hybrid that has even more new great stuff, or even amazing new Suzuki S-Cross!

Plastic is because easy to clean and light and it rattles only if loose - but even if it rattles I'll put the radio volume up 💪😋 I love my Zuki 😍
