To the sound, how does it compare to the Airpods Pro or the Sennheiser 2
Can you tryout the new Sony earbuds that Linus just ditched his airpods for?
@Houran Cheng Linus from Linus tech tips, Linus media group, etc.
I agree I'm a landscaper and use them all day I love the sound quality and comfort but the call quality sucked
The flexibility of the eq when adjusting the sound enables to fine tune the buds with precision. I have the x3’s, vista’s that I go to when working out. The range of the lows allow for bass pounding and rumbling. I haven’t purchased the vista 2’s but I do have them in my Amazon shopping cart. I’m torn between these and the bests fit pro.
I have the Vista's 1: my son lost them! They turned out to have been in the (melting) snow for a month (without the case)! He found them and they still work and sound as good as new! I am a professional musician and producer and work out in the gym. The fit is very good, most earbuds fall out of my ears. The sound can be completely tweaked to your taste: they sound fantastic imo, terrific equalizer in the app. I'm glad the call quality has been improved, because it's average with the Vista's 1. My next earbuds will definitely be the Vista 2!
Did you get them and did you like them? Please, asking for a friend on this one haha
Theure the best on the market tbh, i still have the pros altho after 5 years the are damaged and have connection problems but they have the best sound and have worked amazing until recently
Excellent review Mike! Very informative, detailed and organized. It is the best review I have seen so far for the Jaybird Vista 2 series. Keep up the good work.
I’ve bought every pair they’ve ever released, some were horrible but most were great for me . I work outside in the elements and these definitely get beat up and still work great !
The way for adjusting the eq makes so much more sense than bars as you can make audio profile more complex, but it might be more of an audiophiles thing than a basic user
Excellent review ! Best review I've found on these
Thanks so much for sharing! Mic test seemed good to me.
Any possibility you’d do a long term update on the Vista 2? I’m drawn to these because of their fit and WP rating, but am pretty concerned about reliability issues mentioned in many of the Amazon reviews. You probably need to focus on initial reviews of newer earbuds, but a snapshot of the Vista 2s almost a year on would be really helpful. Great videos, btw. Thanks.
the 'parametric eq' on the app is the best feature. If you learn how it functions you can really dial in your jaybirds sound to sound really good
Great review man! I've been using the first vista series for a little over a year now. Glad to see they added a customizable input option!
Good video review, I love my Jaybird x4s apart from the constant dropping of Bluetooth connection. How are these for maintaining Bluetooth?
Is the size and form factor identical to the original Vistas?? Great video!
As everyone said, it is NOT as difficult as he made it look to adjust EQ. These things are now $99 and an incredible value for sound. Sound better than ear buds in $200+ range
$149
90?? Where do u get them for 90
These are honestly fantastic, This video is 2 years old but probably the best ones I ever had. I jog a lot and they stay in perfectly, buttons are responsive, too loud to set on max, can control everything with a touch. 5/5 for me.
Thanks for your review Mike! Regarding music audio quality... do you prefer these over the Jabra Elite Active 75t?
The vistas all the way. Jabra needs to. Understand in 2021 that them using a master/slave setup instead of independent bud connections makes them look dated and it's quite annoying.
What is your overall recommended earbuds for good music quality and very good phone call clarity ? With minor emphasis on sport use.
Thanks for a candid view about this product. I have a question about its multipoint function. Can I connect this to my Apple iPhone for telephone calls and also my Windows PC for zoom/teams call and will it seamlessly transition from one device to another?
EQ feature you didn't like It's called Crossover...
And it's truly amazing, if know how use it to tailor sound to perfections...
Agree with you, it can be confusing, but for those who love experimenting to dial in perfect sound, they'll appreciate it...
Plus you can slide any of the five buttons vertically straight up or down...
To make using Equalizer simple...
Choose flat preset & work from there...
Thanks for sharing?
Cool?
Great video. I was wondering why the controls didn't work. I didn't realize there was an actual button inside. The manual should mention that.
I have the vista model, my next pair will be Jaybird Vista 2 for sure :), thanks for the review!
X3 sounds better or vista?
@@abdullahgawai3332 From my point of view(just sound), X3, but since I want them for running, I'm keeping only 1 earbud in ear, so it's usefull for me this way with vista :)
@@tomytzull fine.. thank you.
I think these may be my new headphones. As an electrician who works in construction I need something with good noise cancelling, and battery life. I generally keep mine in my ears for the entire day, charging them at lunch, so comfort is a huge deal for me, as is sound quality overall. And the dust and water resistance is a must. I have the Bose soundsport free right now and these look to be a huge step up.
You definetely shouldn't be using noise cancelling earbuds in construction sites. Be safe!
I have the BFP and I like them a lot but I miss the big earwing from the Jaybirds X3. I have knocked the BFPs out of my ear by wiping my head of sweat and that never happened on the X3s. I can't really tell how big the earwings are on the Vista 2s but they seem smaller than their old products.
I heard a lot of people have been complaining about these gen 2 buds rebooting and not connecting. Had anyone has had a problem similar to that with the new ones? Planning to upgrade mine.
When so the watch review come out. I am so exited for the new Wear OS watch!
Would the noise cancelling be sufficient enough for airplane travel?
Great review. Do you think these are better than the soundcore life A2 earbuds? Thank 👍👍
love my original vistas. being i seldom call while using them or activate anc with any earbuds i've had, i'm not gonna miss out much with vista 2, except maybe for the couple extra hours of battery
Truth.
Lol! @ “on the run” Nice work! You ever consider adding another mic test as a baseline so we can hear the difference?
Brilliant review thanks very much ❤️🇸🇪😍
I have the first gen which is a really great pair of buds for working out.
Except for: Wireless charge missing! (Really need that) So that might be the reason to upgrade alone :)
My Galaxy Buds live are perfect for the office
"On the run" and there you got my sub! :)
Great video, and wondering if worth upgrading from the Jaybird Vistas 1
It depends on your usage. If you need a set of buds that can work for phonecalls even in louder environments, get the Vista 2.
If you're loving your Vista and don't make phone calls, I'd honestly say you've already got the set for you.
I see that the charging connection on the buds itself are way bigger compared to the PG. That's the only complaint I have about the OG. I have two pairs and both if them are struggling to get a good charging connection. It can take me up to 5 min to setup so it charges. Way too often to I wake up with one earbud being at 100%, and the other being at 5%.
Dear Mike O'Brien. You don't miss.
thank you for your impressions. Jaybird headphones had issues with sound delay while watching videos. Do you have noticed any issues here? could you test with iPhone and Android if you experience any lag? Thank you !
They are wonderful. The Run and Run xt had a lag, but the Vista has virtually no lag whatsoever.
how do they do with the "body sounds"? Like chewing and walking. I've heard that with the first version of these they where really potent to let those sound through easily.
That's called the occlusion effect on and it happens depending on the seal. My ears are just fine with the Vista 1 and 2, I've never had the issue. Not all ears are created equal, though. That's why it's great that they have a 30 day money-back guarantee to try it out.
I had a jaybird vista 1 for a week but I returned it. I used them while running in combination with the Garmin Fenix 6x. After a few km, the headphones disconnected from the watch and it was impossible to pair them again. After the end of the run, only after putting them in the box, they were able to pair again. The problem was every time I was running. I am curious if the same problem will occur with jaybird vista 2.
The EQ graph (parametric) is waaay better that any paragraphic EQ (sliders)
The chirping bird sounded clearer than you did in the microphone test
Those are pretty nice. The mic quality is amazing!
Hey dude im looking forward to see your review on the new Sony earbuds
Had so many issues with Vista 2s...
Had to replace three times...
Ended up returning them for final time...
Too many issues to get into but what was final issue was the large earbud wings would not let case close completely...
Case would open so slightly not to be noticed visually & earbuds battery in Earbuds would completely drain.
So after fully charging case & earbuds then placing esrbuds in pouch earbuds would be drained following time, no more than 8 hrs later...
My Vistas are still good 2-3yrs later...
Hopefully Vista 3 will fix & resolve all issues in Vista 2
Can you say which one u would buy Vista 2 vs 85t if you could only choose 1 of those 2?
Awesome review! Sort of random, but wondering if you notice the female voice mentioning battery charge and connection on the Jaybird Vista 2 causes static in the earbud speakers? Mine does, but the music sounds fine. Spending $200 just annoys me that the first thing I hear is a crackly female robot voice causing static in the speakers. Let me know
Really excited about these coming out, so I can get the originals on sale!
I would buy the 2s. I own the originals and they are nice but the lack of an ambient mode was frustrating. With the 2s you will get that.
@@hgonz14 I'm just doing physical therapy, so I'm not too concerned about ambient noise, either letting in or keeping out. Buds tend to slip around though, especially since I'm apparently a mouth breather when going hard, so those wings are really calling to me.
Yeah, the Vista 1 sounds right. The music audio quality is arguably the same, and if you don't need them for lots of phone calls and don't need the surround sense, Vista 1 has you covered, fam.
@@justinthor5438 Phone calls? Surround Sense? Despite me not needing ANC, I'm very not into socializing, especially when getting through a workout. You just sold me! 🤪
@Tyron Love $99!✌🏾
Bro off topic, are you brother's with Nate O'Brien? You guys look alike and produce fire contents!
I’d love to get these but I had the original vista and since these don’t have a vent to equalize the air pressure going into your ear, I couldn’t wear them for more than 5 minutes and I had to return them. I’m assuming the 2’s are the same way?
Are they better than the galaxy buds pro? Been thinking of what to buy. Hope you can help me out. Big fan of your videos btw
This seems a bit more sporty and more rugged which is good thing. The new Sony earbuds is the legit rival to Buds Pro and seems like the best ANC buds so far, judging from review ...
Most iconic earbuds😊🤞🍀
Hi there, great video. I got these Jaybird Vista 2 but cannot pair them with my iphone. I don't see them in the Bluetooth options. Any idea why?
Wf-1000xm4 vs jaybird Vista 2? Sound quality? Anyone out perform the other?
You did not go over the Find my buds. Does it work well? I have a Jabra 75t and you can only find the right side earbuds. I was wondering can you find both earbuds and the case?
How is the audio quality compared to Bose QC earbuds?
They improved the call mics......the og Vistas were moot for the call quality!🙄
Can confirm. The original vistas were terrible. Got my mom some for her birthday when they came out and ever since then I’ve had to tell her to take them out when we are talking on the phone.
Mike, you left the battery out of your comments. Just blank underneath.
Mate if you haven’t had JayBird from the beginning or if you can’t realise sound properly there is also an option and a great feature for beginners for every ear on low mid n bass in all phases and treble to tune before you go to ADVANCE to change frequency on how you listen to your music. In fact the one’s displayed as presets are just samples for running, and other work outs to tune where your hearing it at before you tune the genre hence CUSTOM PRESETS! But if you wanted to as an amateur you can grab a mode of presets and tweak it.
The downfall is that there used to be an option to switch between left to right for sound!
can you use just one earbud when making a call? or do you have to have both in or the master bud in?
Will you upgrade from the original vistas?
Which one is better Jaybird Vista 2 or Bose Sport Earbuds?
How is the volume compared to the original vistas?
Are these decent for Zoom calls? I tend to hit the gym and attend meetings all with the same buds.
How are they at reducing the internal thud of your foot strike during a run? My power beats pro are vented, which relieves pressure, but also almost completely eliminates the internal thud of each step during a run.
such an important question and so overlooked by reviewers. I suffer terribly from this and got rid of my first gen vistas due to it. As soon as the fit is secure and they sound great, they thud on my walks/runs. I am looking at the google pixel a as they also have a vent.

Reviewers in the office: "Yeah the sound is great!"
Me while running: *BOOM♩BOOM ♪ BOOM ♫ BOOM ♬ BOOM*
Hello, what headphones do you recommend for running, cycling and using it every day that fits well and has very good sound for 240 dollars, beat fit pro, jayrbid vista 2 or some other, thank you very much
Does anyone know how these work when jump roping? Also I sweat a lot how secure are they?
Can you use either earbud (right or left) for the mono mode or is there a master slave configuration? I have to replace my jabra elite active 75ts and the 85ts not having mono mode for both sides make me look at these ones. I use earbuds a lot for sport that's why I'm here
Yeah you can use each bud individually, the vista 1s had the same feature
Are they best fit for running purpose ?
Great video!!!
Thanks!
They're on sale now $129 ($70 off). I just ordered one from Best Buy.
with that Jaybird Vista earbuds and that slick sunglasses.. Mike my man! you look fly as fuck. 😍
If you review the LG tone free fit it would be amazing to compare them with these Jaybirds!!!!!!
i bought them in late March and the sound was great and low light they are in my ear . But I notice every time I watch a video or getting a call the audio of the song or video audio stop playing . I try turning off and unpair yo see that work but it keeping during the issue every signal play
Those dam cops are still on my tail. They'll never take me alive I tell ya, never! Thanks Michael.
Do these sit against your ear canal like Bose, or do they go into the ear canal?
Can you do a mic comparison between the Vista 1 and Vista 2? I have the Vista 1 collecting dust as the microphone was terrible for making calls. But I still use them as a backup whenever I need to.
How is the sound quality compared to tarah pro or jaybird x4?
I've been using the Jaybird Vista 2 on the treadmill for about 6 months now. I have very few and niche complaints:
. lack of a groove along the edge of the case that makes opening it a bit tedious
. weird rare disconnections that require popping them in and out of the case to resolve
. when double tap enabled, running at North of 12kmph can register
. the ANC is barely noticeable
. the tracking feature ringing is not loud at all, only noticeable in a quiet room
Wowo much better call quality! The vistas were a thumbs down for me for call quality. However the og Vistas and 2's overall is the best for working out, as they NEVER pop out during workouts.
Yeah. They fit securely on the ears
cool review :)
I am afraid they
Drop out like my airpods. Dropping out and lost :( so advantage of the old Bluetooth earphones with left right earphones connected. They don't drop out right?
When will be Sony's Wf1000 xm4 review will come?
question, when running with these, does it feel like your ears are plugged up?
How can I get the replacement ear piece’s?? I lost mine and the ones that are on don’t really fit all that great
oh shit nate has a brother? no wonder you guys have similar mannerisms lmao love it
Yep. Nate and I are brothers. I guess we must have similar mannerisms since so many people mention that but I don't see it haha
I just bought my Vista 2 earbuds 2 days ago. Anyone else having issues with audio dropping off with Android?
I'm stoked to get these.
Was happy to see the 'disable' option for the touch controls
I find when I'm sweating my ass off my sweaty hand makes touch controls go wild when I re-adjust the earbud.
These buds look kickass
How are these with staying in for running and biking? I seem to always have problems with bud types vibrating out and I'm constantly adjusting them.
You can skip rope with these things.
I bought these and bought the bose active ones which cost more and these are hands down the best pair of headphones for working out I've ever owned kinda regret re-gifting them to my coworker, should have given him the shiny bose instead.
How is the noise canceling against samsung airpods 2 pro?
Its weird that in reddit forums and other site a lot of people ask jaybird to sell again the jaybird tarah pro but almost any youtube video see the "good part" of have a corded cable to join them with magenetic attraction. Run, talk to someone and hang them in your neck...is very more confortable than have to search the case in your pocket (never forget them) and remove them from your ear
How does these compare to the JBL reflect mini NC?
ANC is better on these
Are the good for heavy mental or hard rock for sound quality
I want a pair that work with those genres as well
Yes
Hello,
Is this earbuds work with a windows laptop?
(you dont have an app on windows for this...)
I tried every headphones including Jabra and Sony and they stopped working because of the swear. The Jaybird Vista is very durable especially against sweat. I just purchased the Vista 2.
Just ordered my Vista 2s from Jaybird.
Comes with some sort of Launch Kit which is free until quantities are gone.
Don't know what's included in Launch Kit.
Hopefully will receive in couple of days as expedited shipping was also free.
Wanted to get extended warranty but it wasn't available at time ordered because of issues on website...
Generally you can get the extended up to a month after purchase, so once it's up on the site I think you'll be golden.
@@justinthor5438
When purchase from Jaybird directly have to purchase at same time on same order, that's way there system works
So how do they compare to the Sony w10005 ?
Do you think these will fit if you have a conch piercing? I struggle to find some good quality earbuds for my workouts that do not press against my piercings, and from the look of this these take up most of your inner ear space.
Honestly, I'd say just try them out. They have a 30 day money-back guarantee and their customer service is bomb.
@@justinthor5438 Thank you so much! ☺️ I'm highly considering because these seem to be one of the best out there!
