We had an old Amana that we bought used to go in Vacation home, great machine that lasted for years, then got a basic speed queen that didnt last 4 yrs!, now we have one of these. They dang sure don't make washers today like that were, work horses and lasted 15 years!!
Hey, sorry I’m gonna have to miss your Premiere, as my Care Worker is gonna be here at the time & whenever my Care Worker is here, I have to be busy, as my Care Worker is basically to help me learn to be independent & whatnot. But I might go live tonight to film my Mother’s Whirlpool WTW6120HC3! So, I hope you’ll join & say hi! 😀
You have to keep in mind that these machines are designed to use the new High Efficiency Detergents so they don't need to wash the clothes in deep water. HE Detergents are concentrated and low sudsing so the machine washes and turns the clothes in a pool of wash water that is more highly concentrated than older machines that washed in deep water and used high sudsing detergent. HE detergents are low sudsing so they require less water to rinse. The New HE Detergents are what changed the way the machines wash clothes and are just as effective as the old machines and detergents. Just make sure you are using the correct amount of HE detergent for the load size and don't overfilll the machine with laundry.
No wonder it's so quiet, it barely moves. I'm replacing my 22 year old MAYTAG (2 SVC calls) and I'm about to cry, as my search for a new machine has been awful. This washer is overfilled imo, however. The agitator is practically doing nothing. Ugh!
DON'T CRY ... Check reviews & get it repaired, preferably an older, wiser repair guy to replace what is needed....& yes, agreed those clothes here in video were NOT getting proper agitated-like clean, to say the least 🤔😁.....Our old WhirlPool washed spectacularly with 1 load a day (our average with a growing family)....I'll bet if we had a "cycle" counter device installed, we would have been in the 1500's varying sized loads / 8,9 years b4 we had any need to service it (replaced the direct drive washer motor coupler for only $260 done in house)....And the kids often overloaded it, so I took control of washes (they did their own drying WITH the requirement that large sweatshirts & towels hanger dry in winter to increase (much needed) humidity....Just sayin'.....
@@sanjaysomnarain1 My Mother most likely won’t allow me to do a Load that small, as she prefers Full Loads. 😕 So, IDK if your request for my Mother’s Machine can be fulfilled. 🤔
Question how far up does the water level go on the deep wash Cause I purchased the same model and the water level is like if I had the button on the censor auto
Hey, once you open up the requests, there are some things that I’d like to see on the Machine! Here are my requests: - Heavy with Deep Water Wash & Auto + Extra Rinse (I want to see if it’ll do the Deep/Spray Rinse Combo or if it’s gonna do both Deep Rinses to cope with the HW2 Models of the Whirlpools 4850, 4855, 4950, & 4955, plus the Maytag 465.) - Rinse & Spin with Auto + Extra Rinse (I also want to see if it’ll do either the Deep/Spray Rinse Combo or both Deep Rinses, just like I want to see on the Heavy Cycle for the same reason.) - Bulky with Deep Water Wash & Deep Water + Extra Rinse (Even though Bulky does the unfair Low Final Spin & that I’m gonna want to do Drain & Spin afterwards for the High Final Spin, as part of this request, I also want to see how high the Water Level’ll fill up to, especially as Bulky defaults to Deep Fill.) - Heavy Cycle with Deep Water Wash & Deep Water + Extra Rinse (After seeing that Cycle & Settings on the Whirlpool WTW4950HW, why not, as it’d be nice to see it on the brand new Amana here as well or if Heavy with Auto + Extra Rinse ends up doing both Deep Rinses there, I’ll let it count & have this request here end up being & I know that you don’t want to do a Cycle with Soak, as it’d bore us out, but I like requesting Soak at times to make things interesting, as basically it’d be like a Presoak & on these Machines, the Presoak is only about 10 minutes long. So, for this request, if the Heavy Cycle with Auto + Extra Rinse ends up doing both Deep Rinses, I want this request here to be either Whites with Soak or Colors with Soak with Deep Water Wash & Deep Water + Extra Rinse.)
Can I also add in an overloaded test on Normal with Deep Water Wash & Auto + Extra Rinse to make things interesting & to see if it’ll handle an overload or not, hopefully it won’t unbalance?
Could you please film a video of you doing a couple cycles (Normal, Light, Heavy, and Colors) with the MaxFill setting on of the Frigidaire Combo Washer/Dryer?? The serial number is FLCE7523AW. I’m debating on getting one and I’d really appreciate being able to see how it works before I spend lots of money on it! If you can’t, no problem!! Thank you! 😁
Hey Kirk I'm a big fan next can you pls do a moving blanket test or a red sweater test next. red sweater on delicate cycle moving blanket on bulky cycle.
I remember back in the 90's when reps would do demos. There was a GE washer, Frigidaire, and Maytag (real companies and just not the name). Each one had a mirror attched to the inside of the lid. You could see the GE agitator pull the clothese down quickly over and over again, Maytag not as much and Frigidaire not at all. And the GE and Maytag spin cycles worked well bu Frigidaire jumped all over the place. I haven't found any videos of current models with agitators that perform as well as those old GE's. The Amana 4519 doesn't even seem to pull the clothes under but the 4516 seems to but takes forever.
How could that possibly be deep water wash? There’s something wrong with this machine already fresh out of the box. I don’t understand why they keep making these machines?
NO WATER TO WASH . TAKES FOREVER TO GET GOING .I HAVE AN AMANA NTW4516FW3 AND IS SOMEWHAT LIKE THIS ONE, I HAD A QUEEN SIZE BLANKET AND SHEET;;A FEW CLOTHES. IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH FOR THE MACHINE TO BRING CLOTHES FROM BOTTOM TO TOP .HOW CAN CLOTHES COME CLEAN AT THIS RATE.. A WASHING BOARD AND CREEK WOULD DO BETTER, THE MACHINE I HAVE WAS HERE WHEN I MOVED IN,, IM GOING TO HOPEFULLY TRADE IT IN AND GET SOMETHING THAT WASHES..MY WORD OF MOUTH TO PEOPLE IS DONT WASTE YOU MONEY LOL
the Maytag MVWP585GW is the best because of the dual action. I own a TC5 and while being okay it does not work as well as the 585, and the 585 has a real water level selector instead of the TC5's 2 water levels.
I believe that Whirlpool should look to their original Surgilator from their original belt drive washers for inspiration in designing their next great agitator. It needs to be HE but it has to have squiggles because even Speed Queen copied it knowing its value in fabric care. They also need to master forming their stainless tubs into the same shape that their porcelain tubs are so that they can create the whirlpool effect that they changed their name from 1900 to Whirlpool Corporation in 1947 when the legend began. Speed Queen didn’t master this until Raytheon acquired them from McGraw Edison. Now Speed Queens that agitate have rollover where they one only sloshed back and forth. Whirlpool should ask me before they make any more moves. Honestly! SMH
The 4519 seems to have not as much as an "auger" agitator as the 4516 does...? Also, if this is "deep fill", it's like what, half full? The 4516 seems to hold more water from the looks of it. So, larger capacity, but not really, with the 4519. What am I missing here?
My requests on this machine are Delicate Cycle with a sweat shirt, cold water, deep rinse, auto wash, soap. Bulky Cycle with Sheets & blankets mixed together, warm wash, deep water wash and rinse, soap. Normal Cycle with shirts, cold wash, auto wash, 2 deep rinses, soap. Heavy Cycle with sheets and blankets together, warm wash, deep wash and rinse, soap. Heavy Cycle with shirts and jeans, cold wash, deep wash and rinse, soap. Heavy Cycle with towels, warm wash, auto wash and deep rinse , soap. Heavy Cycle with a big load, deep rinse, warm wash, soap.
That agitator might as well not even be there as it did nothing. Not nearly enough water. My 2017 GE top load actually fills with water and actually washes. Well it use to before that house fire.

Thanks for showing me, But that is not a deep water, for me, sorry I'll keep looking. Maybe the Hotpoint 3.8-cu ft Agitator Top-Load Washer, or just bite the bullet & get a Speed Queen.
No thanks I’ll just stick with my ge with heavy duty agitator and actual load selection six years strong now multiple loads per week and it’s still like it was brand new.
I Can't Stand These Washers, They Only Give You 1/2 A Cycle Unless You Choose An Extra Rinse Then You'll Get The Other 1/2 Of The Cycle Complete With An Agitated Deep Rinse
Excuse me? Where is the so called “deep fill” on this machine? This is a massive downgrade compared to the dual action amana. These agipeller washers whirlpool continues to make are terrible.
The clothes came out wet and still dirty! Wow just wow! Anyone could’ve done a better job by washing by hand. What a sad excuse for a washing machine! 🤯

How is that the deep fill and how are the clothes getting clean?
I mean, on the Bulky Cycle fills up to a higher Water Level, especially as Bulky defaults to Deep Fill. 🤔
The new washers get clean by friction, they use less water and depend on the clothes to scrub the dirt and out of eachother.
