First Start in Many Years - Volvo Amazon 122S

Supposedly this Volvo hadn't moved under its own power since 1989. After an inspection and refresh of the fuel and cooling systems, we're ready to see what happens when we turn the key!

the 122S should have at least three chassis to engine woven copper ground wires. (20 years experience)

Well done gents,, started first go once the fuel got there .. very impressive.. were you using the manual choke?

Thanks! I was impressed how readily it fired up. Every time we’ve started it the choke has been necessary. Otherwise it just cranks and cranks.
