  • In this video, we follow the journey of a neglected Alfa Romeo 75 that has been sitting in a barn for 18 years. I bought the car last year and brought it to yard.
After some tinkering and troubleshooting, the moment of truth arrives I attempt to start the engine. With a few cranks and some patience, the Alfa Romeo 75 roars back to life after nearly two decades of silence.

Happy memories of a car like this.Wonderful engine fine handling, and a gear change which took a little to master. This model was a to be Alfa Romeo last RWD car, the last of the Alfetta family.

Check distributor (clean contacts inside), spark plug wires and spark plugs. Its definitely running on 2 or maybe 3 cylinders. Very cool find, just be prepared for the state of the body. Hope you can restore it!

The real question is: how is it possible to abandon an Alfa 75 for 19 years??!
It's so enjoyable and emotional to drive!

I guess 19 years ago it was just an ordinary old car… and since it’s an early carburated version, it wasn’t loved by the enthusiasts like V6 or TS

When I changed my 1.8 ie for a TS in 2000, I gave it away as a present with the condition that it would be kept on the road and well.
He gave me 2 cases of wine, but a few years later he resold it to a former policeman...
Fantastic cars; You feel comfortable, connected to the ground, and with an underlying baritone sound.

Šitas užvedimas ištsitęsė 3 šeštadienių popietes! Stengiuosi skirti laiko, kad judėti į priekį. Šiemet 75 tikrai nebus pabaigta, bet norėčiau padaryti reikšmingą progresą!

Just like I wrote in video description - the car spent 18 years in the barn and 1 year ago I bought it and transported it to this location.
And anyway, the grass is not growing under the car due to the lack of sun.

That Alfa 75 model is 1.6 I'm not mistaken that type of engine is not very powerful I don't restore it it's not convenient if it was a 1.8 at least yes the advice I can give you take it to the dump Alessandro from Rome

Compared to modern cars, all 75s with any engine, even V6, are slow. I do this for the memories, not for the money.
      Cheers!
